how often do you take malunggay supplements? i take 1 cap once a day lang pero parang walang effect

^try mo yung malunggay lifeoil sis. maraming positive feedbacks about it kahit 1x a day lang gamitin. i'm actually trying it now and looks like may effect talaga. have to check for the whole week if consistent na ganito.

^hindi ba possible sis na ipadala mo with a cooler bag yung expressed bm mo? in that way sis mas magtagal pa supply mo. then direct feed na lang after work. well i know, easier said than done but baka lang naman possible. sa US kasi they allow bm to be given to baby, provided that once di naubos, it's discarded na. so yung ibang mommies, they put smaller serving of bm, like in 4oz bottle each.

depende daw sis sa daycare center. I asked kasi the healthcare provider during her 4th month checkup. I need to ask the daycare center daw.

^sis bibits, may nipost ako from the other thread, aside sa malunggay soup/capsule, ni mamassage ko rin at hot compress breasts ko, nakaka increase din daw yan ng breastmilk. And pansin ko when i started pumping every 2-3hours mas nagincrease yung breastmilk ko.

hmmm i breast feed + formula milk my baby.  oct 26,2012 ako nanganak.  habang tumatagal, nababawasan yung formula milk intake na binibigay ko.  yehey!!! i though magiging ebf na pero lumakas appetite ni baby.  5 weeks old sya nagstart kumain ng kumain ng kumain until hindi na nya kaya.  as in tuluy tuloy ang milk intake nya...  nagpapakalasing sa gatas!

ganun ren ba babies nyo nung 5 weeks old or 6 weeks old?  biglang lumakas milk intake?  laging feeling gutom baby?

^yup, paminsan umiiyak si baby dahil parang nauubos na milk ko sa isang breast dahil bibitawan niya sabay iyak ng malakas, then pagnilipat ko si baby sa other breast happy na ulit siya. I think partly my fault din, minsan i feed her directly kahit kakapump ko lang...

medyo mahirap din pala magpa-breastfeed, wala pang one week ko ginagawa parang susuko na ko kasi lakas ni baby dumede. gusto ko na sana ipag-formula milk si baby agad kaso nun isang araw pansin ko habang nagpapabreastfeed ako sa left breast ko naglleak yun sa right and vice versa, lagi ng ganun. may concern din pala ako sa number of times na dapat mag BF, sabi kasi sa hospital dapat daw every 2-3hours kung tulog daw si baby parang dapat pa rin daw gawan ng way para mapabreastfeed, in short gigisingin si baby. kakauwi lang namin and compared nun nasa hospital kami antagal niyang tulog ngayon, naaawa ako gisingin siya para i-feed pero natatakot din akong magkulang sa pagfeed. dapat ko pa rin sundin yun sinabing every 2-3hrs feeding or depende sa demand ni baby?

^babies tend to be sleepy. hindi mo naman totally gigisingin, just offer your breast and tickle his feet. that way you also protect your supply.

sis bibits, meron sa mercury ng lifeoil. aside from that meron din mga supplements kay babymama like fenugreek, nursing mom tea (meron din nito sa healthy options), shatavari and motherlove. fenugreek is also effective. haven't tried motherlove though but nandun na ata lahat ng ingredients na pampalakas ng milk supply.

sis berryblitz, i think your baby is in his growth spurt. that time, dede sila ng dede. and bm is easily digested by babies kaya every 2-3hrs lang gutom na agad. meron pa ngang oras oras e dede ng dede.

^sis berryblitz may 2 weeks na din kami mixed feeding ni baby kasi sobrang lakas din niyang dumede. Dont want to give up bf kaya im trying several ways to increase my supply. Habang meron pump lang ako ng pump plus direct feeding.

Just want to share lalo na sa mga mommies na takot mag pills pag nag tetake ng pills. Kasi may sister is taking pills kahit nag breastfeed so sabi ko hindi ba delikado yun lalo na for the baby and okay lang naman daw. Daphne daw gamit nya habang nag breastfeed ng baby kasi sabi ng doctor hindi naman maapektuhan yung milk nya at safe siya para sa baby. Anyone also tried using pill while breastfeeding, specifically Daphne?

Naku baka naman  ka di maka pag bf dahil sa stress sa kanya. Ang alam ko nakaka baba ngsupply ng stress kaya wag makikinig sa kanya. Naku ganyan din the first yaya we got , ka pressure. 3days post partum I was pumping some milk to bring to my son who was in he nicu, tapos papasok ang yaya papanuorin ako magpump at mag cocomment na konti naman daw ng milk ko magugutom daw ang baby etc etc pakielamerang frog. Ayam we sent her home tuloy.

My son was like that too around that age. I think it happens during their growth spurt or somethinf. Ang tanda ko ang hirap nga that time ang lakas nya mag feed nagmamarathon feeding kame and he was fusay kasi kulang sa kanya my milk. Pero tiniis ko na wag mag formula para mapilitan my body to produce more milk. Ayun after a day or two humabol na sa appetite nya ang supply ko. Try mo i stop ang formula tapos let him suck often para mastimulate your body to produce more milk. Pag nag formula ka kasi iisipin ng body mo di nya kailangan magproduce ng ganun ka dami

as long as there's the existence of formula in a baby's diet, supply will not increase. drop the formula. breastfeeding works on a law of supply and demand basis

and babies have their growth spurt. check the chart on babycenter.com i think i saw it there before.

Mga sis, i need your help. My baby is still in the hospital, and my breasts are so tender na from milk. I have been trying to pump it out 2x na pero patak lang ang lumalabas. I cannot frequently offer it to baby due to being hospitalised. I am thinking of putting hot compress again, after that what can you suggest to do para maibsan na ang engorgement? Super sakit kasi kahit tumagilid lang ako sa kama...

Sis daveigh, as much as possible you need to empty your breast para ma-ease ang engorgement and also to encourage breastmilk production even while you're away from baby. Otherwise, your body might think there's no demand for milk, hence will slow down/stop production. Relax relax ka muna. Ask somebody to massage your back. Baka your anxiety is inhibiting your letdown. Kapag relax ka na. Massage your breast and hand express your milk. Search mo marmet technique sa Internet and youtube to see the proper way of hand expressing. Mas ok paghand express kasi controlled mo talaga. In a way, mararamdaman mo kung saang part may milk at kailangan mag-exert ng pressure. Relax sis. Wag ka ma-tense. Hope this helps.
