I want to try din kaso parang scary ciempre mag isa ka lang sa room, panu kung may mumu? haha sanay kasi ako buong angkan pag nagtatravel  But I really think exciting ito and napakaliberating.

napanood nyo ba yung movie na 127 hours. natakot ako sa movie na to pero di naman siguro mangyayari sa kin yun kasi di naman ako ganun ka-adventurous...

waaa. sis, i will go to SG also. alone this september. nag back out kasi yung dapat na kasama ko. post ka naman sis kung kamusta tour mo ha. ikaw inspiration ko. ahihi.  thanks  first time to go solo outside the country (pero OFW naman ako sa middle east so hoping nakakayanin ko) hehe.

Yay for solo traveling!  It can get addictive.  May mga times na parang mas gusto ko na mag-travel mag-isa.  You learn a lot about yourself and the places you visit and you're at your own pace. 

^The Vietnam-Cambodia-Thailand road trip I took is one of my favorite travels.  Medyo haggard lang, pero nagawa namin siya ng one week.  Hindi siya kasing complicated ng inaakala ko dahil madami kang makakasabay. 

I agree that SG is generally safe.  I was just there last month, on my own din.  Safer than Manila pa nga.  Pero ang loko-loko naman e hindi namimili ng lugar.  Just always make sure you are alert and aware of your surroundings.

First Solo travel ko was Singapore.

I went to Singapore for  convention. On the day of my flight, I forgot my passport so I had to go back home and get it. When I got to the airport, it was already 40 minutes before boarding but they won't let me in. I tried to look for someone to talk to so they'd let me in but they didn't let me board the flight. I was so frustrated and down cause it was a promo flight and I was told that I can't refund it. I was so eager to go to Singapore that the day after, I bought myself a new ticket back & fort.

My second solo adventure was in Puerto Princesa

I got a 750 back & fort promo flight to Puerto Princesa. The booking was an accident coz I used my maxed out credit card but for some reason, when I tried to book the promo flight, the payment went through. I tried to invite other friends but they were all too busy. When I go to Puerto Princesa, I got so lucky that I met the city tourism officer and he helped me tour the city. I had so much fun and I am so happy that I brought with me my trusty tripod and d40. I had the best memories there.

Actually ang gusto ko talaga is Vietnam - Cambodia/Siem Reap - Bangkok tour kaso baka kailanganin ng 2 weeks for me to enjoy all countries.

sis, medyo gahol ang 2 weeks for tri city esp. kung land travel (bus at train) i suggest at least 3 weeks para di ka nagmamadali

Went solo travel to Cebu. Stayed at hotel fortuna walking distance to tourist spots, market and pasalubong stores. Locales were nice, hotel staff just advise not to wear my rose gold earrings n bring out my cp while walking around.

Yes, sis narsmitz…three weeks ako dun. But i don't like to go back to places I've been the first time my family and I went there.  Hayaan mo, I will share my adventure in SG…nakakaexcite na rin….

traveling solo is not that bad. the thought of it could be scary lalo na babae tayo but it is generally safe unless pupunta ka sa war stricken area. Courage is not enough but you need to pack a lot awareness with you.

Traveling solo in SEA is one of the best decision I have ever made. Mas nakilala ko ang sarili ko in ways na hindi ko alam noon. One thing I like about traveling solo is the fact that I alone decided what my IT is. I can be lazy today and be adventurous tomorrow without affecting someone's IT. I will be forced to meet and mingle with other travelers or locals.

Masarap mag travel solo, period. It is addicting. It is liberating. You will come home as a better person.

Just got back from my first ever solo travel to Kyoto-Osaka! Ang sarap ng feeling na finally nagawa mo na yung isa sa mga nasa bucket lists mo! And I did this two days before my silver year! Napaka-liberating nga ng feeling! Sobrang challenging pa kasi ibang langguage and sulat! Di ako marunong mag-Jap so ang ginagawa ko lang ay minamatch match ko yung sulat na nakikita ko sa Google Maps directions sa mga bus stops! Fun! Fun din to ask around lalo na pag di ka na nila naiintindihan or di nila maexpress sasabihin nila, sasamahan ka na lang nila. You gained a friend pa! I did this thrice!

And yes, you are the captain of your own IT. Pwedeng matulog ng hanggang ganitong oras, pwedeng anong oras na umalis. Kung gusto mo naman maaga pwedeng pwede rin.

To add, I really had no prior research sa Kyoto and Osaka before my trip! First time to nangyari so another challenge yun. By the day ako magresearch! Masaya pa rin! Haha!

Plan ko din mag solo travel pero gusto ko kasi mag snorkeling, diving parang ang pricey naman nun kung solo ko. :/

I love solo traveling! It's liberating! ^_^ I've been solo traveling since last year and I'm loving it ever since! Now I got a string of solo travels this year and I'm too excited about it!

solo backpacking is perfect for adventurous individual. no hassle. also, it is great to meet other solo backpackers along the way especially if you have same destination.
