Yep pupunta ako kaso wala pa ako bus reservation.  Hehe bakit hindi ka na aabot?  Yung iba kasi sept. Pa lang daw nagpapareserve na.

^may baguio trip kasi eh.. hindi ko lang alam kung mayayaya ko sila kasi puro oldies. haha! grabe sept palang?? geez. pero room meron kana?

Yep pahirapan din nung nagpabook ako ng room good thing may nakuha ako and hindi pa nagrequest ng dp kaya happy na ko dun.  Big event kasi sa kanila yun bonfire fest lalo na at dumadami na ang nakikijoin dun. This will be my 2nd and  last time solo lang din ako nagpunta at naghanap na lang kahati sa expenses. And hopefully this won't be my last :-) well hopefully i'll see you there in case you'll make it.

I tried solo twice. first was in Naga, nagback out kasi mga kasama ko.
2nd, was in Japan, recently lang...wohooo. I'm so glad I made it, kaya ko pala. haha! natry ko na kasi ang maraming kasama, konting kasama, try ko naman magsolo out of the country. Yung JP, di sya ganun ka tourist friendly kasi yung mga signboard especially sa train stations nakakalito, tas yung language barrier pa...pero i swear the Japanese are very helpful. saka ganda ng japan. hehe!

i want to try travelling solo, hopefully this year. pero sana yung medyo malapit lang sa metro manila, for starters. sana rin yung hindi required ang trekking and swimming skills kasi heaven knows hindi ako marunong lumangoy and tagilid ako pag may akyatan ng bundok.  any suggestions mga sis? TIA!

sis, I would recommend Baguio :-) or Ilocos. If talagang malapit lang sa Manila gusto mo, Tagaytay or Batangas will do.

So if not swim and trek, what exactly do you want to do sa travel mo?

problem ko lang naman sis sa trekking is medyo poor ang sense of balance ko, though matiyaga ako sa lakad (so kahit gustong-gusto ko mag-Sagada, i'm thinking twice about it). sa swimming naman sis, i must admit, hindi ako marunong mag-swim, though i love going to beaches. kaya lang more on tampisaw and relaxation (picture-taking and sight-seeing) lang ang nagagawa ko dun..

First time to travel solo last week, went to Puerto Galera all by myself. I feel so proud bwahaha.

I'm taking baby steps, dito muna sa medyo malalapit. Pero yung next ko, by end of feb sa baguio naman. So excited!

Solo travel I consider sacred and the ultimate expression of self-indulgence. Apart from courage to venture out alone into the unknown, it also requires authentic openness to making connections with strangers and a healthy sense of adventure. 

I go to one place I have never been before on my own each year (I try as much as I can and there are times that I get the opportunity more than once a year) and come back to special "haunts" whenever I can. Here are some places (local and SE Asia) I absolutely love/d for solo travels:

• Sagada
• Bali, Indonesia
• Carles, Iloilo
• Calaguas
• El Nido
• Botolan, Zambales
• Dolores, Quezon

^ kaya naman sis. You can take the night trip ng bus na may malapit sa may St. Luke's Manila at i think asa 500-600 na siguro ang biyahe dun. Diretso na ito sa Bontoc. From Bontoc, meron na duong jeep na papuntang Sagada diretso.

From Sagada, walking distance na lang ang City Hall. It is good to visit them para malaman mo yung mga options mo for day tours. Me package a, b, etc.

Meron ka ring rooms na makikita dun na tig-200 to 300 per night. Kami dati, 200 per night lang ang na-stay-an namin ng friend ko. Pwede ka pang magluto sa mismong kitchen ng may-ari. Nagdala na lang kami ng noodles at itlog para bawas na rin sa gastos. Yung ibang attraction, makikita mo habang naglalakad ka na rin. Masarap maglakad-lakad around the area.

Don't forget the Yoghurt House - simply the best. Cave connections - best if meron kang tour. Medyo delikado kung mag-isa mong bubunuin yun. But anything else, pwede naman na.

^yey thanks sis. Iniisip ko pa kung isosolo ko to, parang masaya kase i-solo kaso after ko magbasabasa yung mga cave connection nga mas okay daw pag group. Iniisip ko pa yung yayayain ko si boyfriend. Pag di ako natuloy this summer baka January next year ko na lang ituloy para feel na feel ko yung weather hehe.

Yung el nido plan ko din isolo sana, pero nagrequest boyfriend ko na magpalawan kami this year (2nd or 3rd time pa lang namin magtravel together) so baka kasama ko na sya.

^ @simang - yes, I have. Cave connection mas maganda kapag group as it is more fun plus it's more economical. Mas masarap maraming kasamang iika-ika pagkatapos. LOL.

If I may suggest, avoid going there in April. Masyadong maraming tao. The best time to go is anywhere from November to January (at least for me. I don't enjoy crowds.)

i love going on solo trips! parang feeling ko less hassle kasi hindi mo iisipin yung kasama mo at pwede kang gumala on a whim.
