considered as solo travel ba yung sumama ka sa group tour na hindi mo kilala. hehe.. did this twice in sagada. super enjoy! sana next time sa malalayo naman ako makapunta..

i can eat alone and i explore places with netro manila by myself pero hindi ko pa nattry magso travel as in malayo talaga pero parang gusto ko..gusto ko rin ng group tours na rando people ang kasama..parang exciting yun..

but right now gusto ko ng spiritual trip na ako lang..any suggestions mga sis? pero not too far sana from metro manila..

iba ang magsolo travel and when you do, be a traveler. dont be a tourist. there are many things to do when you travel solo and many chances to meet travelers and locals too.  Like what I did in Calaguas, i got to be friends with the locals and i learned a lot about their way of living. Na touch ako sa stories nila at the same time, it got me inspired. I learned na bihira lang ang nakakapag high school sa kanila kasi isang isla pa ang pinakamalapit na bayan na may high school. meron ako batang tinuruan na mag close open ng kamay at the age of 2.  then it hit me, how blessed i am and how lucky they are for the simple things they have that i dont.

my experience there made me conceive a book project which i will be giving birth as soon as i get back from thailand.

bottomline, traveling solo will teach you many lessons.  just be brave and be kind with the people you meet along the way.  pero of course, be cautious din.  kasi nangyari sa akin sa calaguas, na in love sa akin yung caretaker nung beach. sabi nia, may dadating daw na bangka papunta sa main island ng hapon para makauwi ako, pero in reality wala talaga.  inamin nia sa akin that night na talagan he planned it para mag stay pa ako one night at masabi nia sa akin yung feeling nia. charot! buti na lang mabait sia at pamilya nila.

yes sis mg solo ko sa coron kasi last Feb 13-18 , na cancelled na becoz ng back out yung kasama k
last DEc din BKK_ siem REAp, ng back out din , kya this time bahala na si batman, hehe

Never tried the solo travel itself although I've experienced naman na solo sa tour especially sa Universal Studios SG and Dreamworld of Thailand. It just so happened na parents ang parati kong kasama kaya chances are siempre ayaw nila magpunta sa amusement parks so ako nga lang mag isa. Masaya rin ang solo lalo na nagagawa mo lahat ng gusto mo ng mabilisan. Hindi ko nga lang magawang makapag papicture lalo na nahihiya pa akong makiusap sa iba. Sayang lang sa USSG hindi lang pinadala yung camera sa akin eh malaki ang chance ko sana na makiusap sa ibang tourist na kuhanan ako dahil sila mismo katutak rin mga nakiusap sa akin.

I can't imagine myself travelling alone but sometimes you have to go out of your comfort zone and try new things in life,,

and besides nanghihinayang na ko sa mga cancellled trips eh, atat na atat pa naman akong makita coron after seeing El NIdo

Though my first out of the country I was  alone but my ex was in the airport to fetch me, accg to him

i looked like a child who got lost in the crowd meaning scared, hahahahaha, dunno if he was just teasing me but i guessed totoo

saka kaya medyo brave ako kasi dito lang sa PINAS eh, and I read na me airport transfer and the people in Coron daw are nice

Tried solo travel na - sa Bangkok and sa Singapore (sa SG, several times na din). Masaya sya kasi ikaw bahala sa pace. If gusto mo bumanjing at tumambay sa isang lugar ng matagal, walang magrereklamo. If me gusto ka kainan na kakaiba, wala din aangal. And i especially love long bus and train rides - they give me time na magmunimuni. i am blessed to have a husband who supports by need/want of alone time, kaya he lets me go on these solo trips. domestic, tried Davao and Cebu pa lang.

My best travel buddy is still my husband, and most of my travels since 2005 are with him. What i like when i travel with him is we get to explore the places together, try restos and local food together, and we also have our own pace. I almost always plan the itinerary anyway so medyo flexible din pagdating sa actual. We have similar interests naman so madali mag-plan.

Masaya din naman magtravel with friends or with family - yun nga lang minsan me mga mareklamo at maarte. Or di naman lahat gusto yung pupuntahan o kakainan so me maririnig kang mga hirit na nakakainis. Tsaka nakakabagal din pag madami kayo magbyahe, kasi hintayan pa.. Sometimes, husband and I join trips with friends (abroad and domestic), pero siguro average of once a year lang..

I remember when I'm still with my ex, I will travel alone and then he will meet me at the airport of my destination, ayun me eepal na foreigner, minsan Pinoy din

yung isa pa nga naka chikahan ko, aba sabi ba naman mybe we can hang out in a few days after we landed, sagot daw nya lahat, hahahahaha,,, sabi ko di pede kasi me nghihintay na sakin sa airport

Never tried traveling with friends only with family lang or parents kapag international. Pero minsan nakakairita talaga kapag may kasama ka yung tipong may magrereklamo at sisita sa mga kilos mo. Sabay minsan mag-aaway pa kayo kasi may hindi kayo napagkasunduan. Gusto ko rin masubukan yung travel mag isa lalo na yung hindi ka makakaramdam ng kahiyaan kapag may kasama ka. As others mention rin mahirap rin kasi yung hindi kayo nagkakasundo sa type ng pupuntahan kasi siempre hindi ikaw ang parating masusunod kundi mag give in ka rin sa mga kasama mo.

kairita boyfriend ko pag niyayaya ko isa pang madaming dahilan..kapikon..kaya mas okay pa magtravel magisa..

gusto ko din sana magtagaytay kaya lang hindi ko alam how to get about at ano mga okay puntahan..any suggestions mga sis?

^ haynako sis I can totally relate with you! Sobrang nakaka-stress (at minsan nakaka-losyang din) kasama si bf, ang daming arte, kumbaga, mas maarte pa sa babae. Tapos ako gumagawa ng itinerary, budgeting, pag book ng flight, etc. lahat lahat. Pati pag sisingilin ko siya sa advanced reservation namin nahihirapan pa ako, ang dami niyang delays.


I tried traveling alone last month, sa La Union & Vigan. It was a little sad, kasi nga hindi mo gaanong kakilala yung mga new-found friends mo, pero masaya naman, yun nga lang mejo risky kasi babae ako tapos mag-isa pa.


Would I do it again? Yes, I'd love to travel alone, again! =)

di pa ko nakagawa ng iti but me idea na ko where to stay anf what to do

i'm still choosing micasa coz ganda ng rooms plus w/ free bf, islands view, princess of coron and me na mention sa coron thread na beachfront daw talaga

sa island hopping joiners na lang siguro , since I tried this sa Bora and El Nido, enjoyable naman
coz you get to meet new friends

ngpa private lang me pg kasama ko si honey and 2 kids, but my 2 kids kasi are not fond of beaches
and nature

ako naman mas enjoy kasama si honey kasi me taga bitbit na ko ng maleta, taga pack , unpacked laundry boy etc , parang PA ang dating, hehe

kya lang si sya pede ngayon kaya solo ang peg ko nayon

@sis littlenissbiyotch- sis! inggit ako nakarating ka ng vigan on your own..hindi ko pa ata kaya magtravel magisa ng ganun kalayo..

hay nako ng first anniv namin walang kwenta dami ko niresearch na budgetfriendly places tapos yung hindi kalayuan at pasok sa sched..ang ending tinamad..gigil na gigil ako ng first anniv namin imbis na maging memorable lol..

kaya bahala siya sa buhay niya at magttravel ako magisa..
