checklist: What to Buy for Baby II

^I think I'm done with my baby checklist.  Started prepping them also and just had my first hospital bag packed.  For the CD's, baby's tend to poop a lot during their first days so I used CD's with my first born after we got discharged.  Good thing my mother in law came and she does the laundry every day.  After a month, since my MIL left and we still didn't have a house help, I did the laundry every other day. Prior to that it was my husband who did the laundry.  Other reason why I really I'm into cloth diapering is after what happened during typhoon Ondoy, I vowed to lessen in any way I can my contribution to waste disposal.  I used more that two dozens of CD's before.  CD's are what I give as gifts to expecting moms or to newborn babies.

Tapos na ako mag backread. Thanks sa tips sisses! Gusto ko rin mag CD, pero malamang CS ako so pag nakapag adjust nalang siguro ako dahil mahihirapan ako for sure maglaba. Pero bibili pa rin ako ng CD's kasi ang cucute ng designs.

Tanong lang mga sis, malaki ba difference ng lampin saka tide sides sa divisoria compared sa malls? Medyo hirap na kasi ako lumakad, 20 mins na tayo or lakad lang pagod na ako. Mag 5 months palang ako, what more sa mga succeeding months pa. Kung maliit lang kasi difference baka sa mall nalang kami bumili, lalo pa ang init na rin ng panahon ngayon.

^ iniisip ko din mag divisoria kaso baka mapagod lang ako lalo kasi puro lakad yun for sure sa mall naman kahit mejo mahal  less hassle saken. Pinipili ko na lang yun murang brand. Saka di ako myado bumibili ng0-3 months kasi mabilis kalakihan ni baby yun dapat 3-6 months na damit na.

Mga essentials for newborn:
Tiesides. Since summer ngayon mas okay ang mga sleeveless na tiesides. 2 to 3 dozens
Towel
Receiving blanket
Lots of mittens kasi di naman agad magugupitan ng finger nails si baby. About 1 dozen siguro
Socks mas okay kaysa booties. Ang bilis maalis kasi ng booties
Hat or bonnet kahit 3 pcs lang
Lots of lampin. I bought 4 dozens
Shorts and pajamas. Pero mas gamit namin shorts kc mainit nga. Pag daytime nga naka  diaper lang si baby
Newborn disposable diapers
Plastic mat for cleaning the baby
Lots of cotton
70% isopropyl alcohol for cleaning the pusod
Feeding bottles and cleanser
Detergent. I use either perla or cycles ba yun. Perla P15 lang per bar
Bath tub and bath support
Soap i bought lactacyd. Pero sabi ni pedia mas okay daw johnson or cetaphil
Playpen or crib

My baby is due this June and that's the start of winter season here. So I will be preparing heaps of winter baby clothes. I have plenty of knitted hats and beanies na. Advised sakin is to buy a lot of onesies na longsleeves. Sleeping bags and swaddles na makapal. Plus the blankets na pang winter. Ang mahal pa naman ng baby items dito!!

Need daw pala labhan ang mga bago bili para mawala un chemicals
I don't know if may chemicals nga pero better safe than sorry

I machine washed mine with cycles. Then dryer. Didn't iron them out na. Hindi naman nag shrink yung clothes and blankets.

Ang bango ng cycles super!

I handwashed all the baby clothing na binili ko, pinaarawan ko then iron. I did not use the washing machine kasi di ko pa nattub wash since nabili namin ang unit. I used pigeon baby detergent powder, gosh amoy baby talaga sya. And Cuddles Fabric Conditioner for Sensitive Skin.

^kami konti lang. 6 pairs of tops + shorts/pajamas, tapos 4 onesies. Yan lang pang newborn namin. Then the rest is pang 6 months up na.

Mga sis, anong pinaka ok na detergent for baby's clothes  - pigeon, cycles or tough love? Also pasuggest na rin ng magandang bottle cleaner. Thankies!

Pag bumibili kayo ng baby clothes, usually ilang set ang dapat bilhin na size 0-3 months? Yung ibang friends ko kasi laging sinasabi na wag magbibili ng maraming damit kasi lalaki daw agad si baby. But of course may damit dapat paglabas niya. So Im wondering if nagmamatter ba yung sizes  sa babies. Thanks!

^thank you sis. naghahanap ako ng pigeon kanina, ang meron lang sila yung bottle cleanser ba yun. bought cycles din, yung pack of 3 sachets, try ko lang muna.

^^sis ako 9 pairs na tie sides binili ko for 0-3 mos. 3 sleeveles, 3 short sleeves saka 3 long sleeves lang. sabi ng hipag ko yung ganon daw kasi parang 2 weeks lang nagamit ng baby nya kasi ang bilis daw lumaki ng baby. meron din ako 4 onesies para pwede pang alis ni baby kung sakali may pedia visit sya.
