What brand of breast pump do you recommend? okay ba yung mga second lang?.

^ sis try mo kay baby mama, seller sya ng pump. If you have budget maganda Medela, if limited naman madami ding magagandang brand na hindi ganon ka pricey. Ako I have Spectra and okay naman ang performance nya. Gamit ko yun kay kuya, 4 years ago. Maayos pa rin and magagamit ko pa rin kay bunso ngayon.

hello mga sis. ask ko lang meron ba kayong tried and trusted supplier sa IG kasi i am planning to buy na bouncer for baby. Yung  Fisher Price. Nakita ko sa IG Bargain Extreme yung name is 2,300 lang siya while mall price is 4999. Medyo hesistant pqa akong bumili kasi not sure if authentic ba yun or not.

^sis try to check also yung newborn checklist from the hospital. kami noon, they asked us to buy distilled water among other things like wipes and diapers. we put all these in a white plastic container with his name on it. tapos the hospital naman provided for newborn clothing, swaddle blankets, thermometer and nasal aspirator. so yung binili naming nasal aspirator ay hindi nagamit hehe.

^the digital ear thermometer kasi sis I find easier to use for babies than the regular ones. Nahirapan lang ako ulit to pick what to buy because my panganay is already 7yo so parang nanganganay ulit ako ngayon. And will bring complete supplies na rin sa hospital pag manganganak na ako para di na kami issue-han ng kit, less expense rin sa hospital bill. Same hospital, same OB naman ako

Is there anything else I'm missing out on my list? Everytime I go back to malls kasi parang may kulang napapabili tuloy ako nang napapabili hehe

I'm on my 30th week and starting to sort the old baby clothes of my 3 yr old son.  Seems I forgot what are the baby essentials I bought 4 years ago so I need to do some research again.

Hi Mommies! Share ko lang yung ginawa namin ni hubby in sorting out and buying things for our baby. I'm currently 33 weeks 4d and we're almost complete na rin sa essentials.

We made a google docs file tapos 2 columns: MUST HAVE-Quantity and then NICE TO HAVE-Quantity. That way, we can see if our budget can still make room for the nice-to-have things na hindi naman talaga super need pa ni baby, specially kung newborn pa.

^may list na rin ako ng mga bibilhin. Di na ako bibili ng pang newborn sizes except for socks, mittens and cap. kasi binigay sa akin ng cousin ko lahat ng tiesides ng baby nya pati newborn pajamas. for clothing, bili ako ng mga ilang pang newborn na pang alis, pero the rest bili na ako ng 6mos and up. madali lang daw kasi lalaki ang baby.

We bought 6-8 sets of newborn clothes (tie sides, pajamas, onesies), (plus 3 sets of mittens, booties, bonnets) then 6-8 din for the 0-3 months. If kasama yung mga bigay, siguro may more than 10 sets na sya for each stage  of life Siguro naman pwede na yun. Wala pa ako for 6 months up.

We bought at least 3 sets per stage. I skipped the NB sizes na and went ahead with the 0-3 months agad. So we have at least 3 onesies + pants sets ng 0-3, 3-6, 6-9, and 9-12. Didn't bother buying tiesides (although we have a few given nung by friends and relatives )kasi I've read in a thread din na mas convenient na rin ngayon ang short sleeves na onesies and bodysuits (like that of mothercare and carter's).
Saka naisip namin at least double purpose, pang-ails and pang-bahay din yung mga onesies

Naisip ko din dati 3 outfits lang per stage, but my friends told me be prepared for spit ups, lungad, diaper spills, etc. Pag 3 lang e di laba ng laba? But that's just me ha.

Question lang po mommies, soon-to-be-mom ako. Ask ko lang kung worth it ba bumili ng crib? sa mga existing users ng crib how long nio po ito nagamit? Due to limited space i'm thiking twice kung bibili nito or hindi. Hubby wants to buy but I'm hesitant. Any thoughts?

Nung una gusto ko sana ng white wooden crib na simple lang nabibili sa local palochina shops. Kasi mura lang, matibay, pwede pa magamit sa next baby. Husband ko naman gusto niya pack and play yung nagiging playpen pag mabigat na ang baby. Mahirap daw kasi itabi yung wooden crib. Gusto niya yung nadadala pwede pag pupunta kami sa bahay ng MIL ko. Naconvince nya ko at pack and play nga ang naplano namin  bilhin.
Dahil madalas ako tumingin sa olx, nakakita ako ng graco pack and play na malapit lang sa bahay namin yung seller. 1,500 lang. We inspected the item at the seller's house. Kelangan lang labhan pero in good condition pa. May diaper changer pa. Wala na nga lang yung mobile. Pero pwede naman bumili. After masetup ng owner, nagusap kami ng husband ko kung ok ba sa amin yung item.
Suplado ang asawa ko pero thrifty din na gaya ko. Sabi niya ok sa kanya since walang sira. Tumawad pa kami at nabili namin ng 1,300.may sinama pang freebie na bassinet at blanket.
marami akong nababasa na ayaw namin mag stay ng baby sa crib kaya na convince ko husband ko na maging practical kami sa item na ito.

^^crib use, depende kasi if you plan to co-sleep or not. Kami kasing mag asawa at the onset napagkasunduan namin na we will not co-sleep kaya crib is a must.

Re clothes, i bought 3 sets each of shortsleeves, sleeveless and longsleeves for new born. Ayun, hindi ko nagamit at all yung longsleeves. Hindi rin nagamit yung swaddles. Ayaw ng baby ko ng balot na balot sya. So now at 1.5mos ang ginagamit nya na na kasya sa kanya yung 3-6mos. Parang nagskip kami ng size.

If for some reasons you won't be able to breastfeed and have to bottlefeed, i suggest dont buy the 2oz bottles na. Super sandali lang magagamit, sayang.  I have 9oz bottles agad. Ok lang naman malaki bottle as long as tama naman ang formula qty na ilalagay mo. Just check if the teats are for nb.

One thing din, i use HHN detergent panglaba ng damit ni baby. Matipid gamitin. Bought the 1kg before i gave birth pa (pinanglaba sa mga damit din ni baby), until now meron pa din. Easy to rinse and ok sa kamay dahil mild Ü

We also have atleast two of these items, isa sa bahay, isa sa baby bag na hindi na tinatanggal dun, at minsan isang set din sa kotse: changing pad, nail cutter, nasal aspirator, formula dispenser, wet wipes. Yung baby bag parati din may small bottles of oil, baby bath, alcohol, small pack of cotton buds. Para laging on the go. Hehe.

Baby practically took over our room and car. As in. Haha

^^^ dilemma ko din before yung crib.  I wanted to buy a crib (for aesthetics), a cosleeper (for convenience), and a pack n play. lahat gusto ko!  We ended up buying a pack n play with napper/changer and my baby (now 12 weeks old) still sleeps at the napper part.  very helpful din yung changer.   

I have friends who lent me a bunch of sleeping gears like the summer co-sleeper na nakapatong sa bed, a fisher price rocker/napper, and inclined sleep positioner.  we used the co-sleeper for a week then realized masikip sa bed.  baby loves the rocker/napper and still naps there during the day.  the inclined sleep positioner - I use this after midnight feedings when I'm too sleepy to carry the baby after burping.

ang hirap diba? lalo pa ngayon you'll never know what works for the baby. siguro kung until 2years old nya nagagamit niya pa rin then ok ako bumili, pero reading some of mommies here di naman madalas magamit. Let's see, i might consider the pack play para if ever di na need benta na lang

We will be using my niece's white wooden crib. And then sa house naman ng parents ko, we will use my nephew's pack and play. Hehe. Ako personally ayoko din na sa bed namin matutulog si baby, siguro sa first few weeks/months keri lang but I want her to sleep alone kasi gusto namin may strict sleep schedule sya. Tsaka malikot kami ni husband matulog kawawa si baby if ever.
