^^hehe.all kinds of lampin binili ko na. I have 6 of both birds eye and gauze type from enfant, then 1 dozen of curity from divisoria. Useful talaga, pero we dont use it as diaper ni baby, pang multi purpose use lang talaga.
^-yup, i have manual avent breast pump, super useful and sulit! But we are planning to buy electric one, medela, para hindi masakit sa kamay!
-yes, use hot compress not just for sore nipples/ breast, pang pa increase din daw ng breastmilk yun.
-wah, di kami gumagamit lampin pa. Meron ako 6pcs cloth diapers, pero super luwang pa kay baby. Maybe on her 3rd month!
-true! Nakakaincrease ng bmilk production ang malunggay. I always have malunggay soup 2x a day. And inom pa rin ng gatas, anmum lacta, pang patulong din.
-buti wala pa ako stroller!
-i have bottle warmer, pero ngayon pinapadaanan lang namin ng hot water from faucet yung refrigirated  bmilk ni baby.

Ot lang: sa exclusive breastfeeding, kelan niyo usually ginagamit yung stored breastmilk, if d kayo nag work, ano mga reasons...

Although bumili na kami ng medela manual breastpump, di lang namin alam kung magstore pa kami ng breastmilk kung sa bahay lang naman ako para kay baby...

And isa pa, exclusive breastfeeding for 6 months, di dapat magintroduce kay baby ng any fluids kahit water di ba.

Yup no water din sabi pedia sa amin. Nagtataka nga mga oldies eh, pilit binibigyan ng water si baby. Sabi ko NO! Kasi breastmilk is good as water na...
I started giving my baby refrigirated/ stored breastmilk nung mag two weeks na siya. (Hindi pa pala ako resume sa work, in 3months pa siguro) Reason is pareho kasi kami ni mommy napupuyat at night, hirap na magalaga kay baby during daytime kahit na may yaya, hands-on kasi kami. So stored milk ang gamit at night/ madaling araw feeding. Nagpupump ako every 2 or 3 hours a day, nakaka 7.5-9 oz ako w/c is just enough for baby sa madaling araw na gising nya. Gising kasi every 2-3 hours pag wee hours, usually 12am, 3am at 5am.

having them take water early on is a good practice. kasi pag hindi and nag start sya mag take ng solid foods mahihirapan kayo i introduce ang water sa kanya ang long hours in the toilet will start. ginagamit namin ang water dati to clean our baby's mouth after breastfeeding... drops lang. ^_^


for the frozen breastmilk parang good for 3 days pag refrigerated 24 hours lang. after which consider it expired. also make sure when you are working to do your regular pumps even in the office. otherwise lactation will stop.

yung lampin ba partible ang ginagamit nyo? maynlampin kaya dito sa US? para tipid na rin sa diaper.

Follow up question lang kasi, nabasa ko sa WHO, exclusive breastfeeding, no use of bottles, teats... How do you plan to give yung mga express milk niyo to avoid nipple confusion for the first 6 months...

^^may mga nabibiling tsupon that encourages the same kind of sucking pag nagbe breast feed. yun ang bilhin mo para hindi sya manibago pag nag ba bottle feed ka using your own pumped milk of course. may mataas ang IQ ng kids na breastfed according to studies

Thanks mga sissies! Hehe nagbasa na din ako sa WHO site. Advised talaga na no use of bottles and teats at least for 6 months.

Sa wikipedia sabi if needed lang daw gamitin yung expressed milk, pwede using cup or spoon para maavoid yung nipple confusion.

Naalala kopala yung iba gamit syringe.

Sis you may try to check out pre-folds similar to lampin sya use snappi to fasten the cloth diaper

Hi mga sis. I'm currently 25 weeks pregnant, and I'm about to start shopping sana for baby. Then I learned that there's usually a baby fair daw in sm in january.  Mas sulit ba if I just wait for the fair? I need everything pa since I'm a first-time mom (well except for a breast pump, which I already have). Baka kasi sale pala ang mga playards, bottles, sterilizers, etc during the fair, sayang naman.

super dami ko pang kulang kasi i haven't really started with the serious shopping. im turning 6 months on monday, carrying a very active baby boy.

i started listing the things i need na lang so when hubby comes back, we can start shopping hehe!
