We will have a 1 1/5 month furbaby, is it ok to feed him home made dog foods or should i give him
The ready made foods that can be bought in a pet store? I've been researching all day about the pros and
cons of both home made and store bought dogs foods and now im confused. please help. Thanks in advance!

I am buying eukanuba dog food for my dogs.  at first, they always finish their food every time I feed them.  But now, it takes some time before they finish their food.  Sometimes I spoon feed them pa just for them to eat.  My friend suggested that I switch my dog food.  Any feed back on the Holistic brand dog food?  Is this as good as eukanuba?  Im planning to switch dog food to add variety for their food.  Baka nag sasawa na mga dogs ko sa eukanuba

^ hi sis, yung shih namin di hiyang sa holistic at lalong grumabe yung kati-kati niya. noong binalik namin sa acana lamb & apple, um-okay na siya. pero yung mga shih ng tita ko, ok naman sa kanila ang holistic.

na-notice ko rin with other dry dog foods, umaarte dog namin - hindi kumakain or matagal kainin. pero sa acana, hindi siya maarte at nauubos agad.

Pedigree in can pakain ko sa 5 dogs namin sa bahay pati yung isa naming pusa. Kainis lang kasi pinakain ng lolo ko ng tulingan na isda, ginalis tuloy yung 3. Kainis.

^fish is actually good for dogs, lalo yung mataas sa omega 3 like sardines, tuna (tulingan is a variety of tuna),salmon etc. nakakaganda kasi ng skin and coat kasi yun. Myth lang yung cause sila ng galis, the usual root cause of mange is a compromised immune system, secondary symptom lang ang galis. pag may galis ang dog lalo kung adult na, there might be something wrong with his immune system and organs, ask for skin scraping and blood analysis for a proper diagnosis and treatment

^no shellfish and molluscs (clams, snails, squid) dogs are carnivores so when feeding dogs think what a carnivore eats in the wild---yung mga preys na nasa lands like chicken, hog, lamb, cow, buffalo, deer, mice, rabbits

Pwede ba bigyan ng beef or pork meat yung labrador?  Pwede ko kaya haluan ng malungay? What about boiled chicken skin? Pwede kaya yun with rice?

^again dogs are carnivores, so pwede ang meat sa kanila. ang masama ay yung cooked skin, bones, fats, yan kasi makakasama sa organs nila. veggies are fine pero dapat chopped/mashed kasi wala silang enough digestive enzymes for plant matters. Rice is fine basta wag sobra-sobra, meat pa rin dapat yung mas lamang

I am buying eukanuba dog food for my dogs.  at first, they always finish their food every time I feed them.  But now, it takes some time before they finish their food. 

Ganyan din 2 adults ko sa Eukanuba. Goldens pa yun ha. Hindi nila inuubos ngayon... once a day lang daw kumakain sbai ng yaya. Eh matigas din ulo nun, sabi ko bawasan ang food kung ganun. Ewan ko lang kung binabawasan.

Sa adult dogs namin, Hollistic. Good thing about it is hindi mabaho yung poop nila, unlike kapag ibang dog food.
Kapag puppies naman, Orijen. Nakakabigat siya ng bones and mabilis lumaki yung pup. We soak it with Cosi milk para medyo malambot.

Feed my dogs Canidae Pure Sea ever since. I noticed hindi sila sakitin

My dog is on sawdust nitong nakaraan. Medyo nagsasawa sa lasa ng Acana adult eh.

Okay lang naman kasi matipid ang sawdust lakas pa maka-taba. Buti madami-daming meatshop malapit samin.

In 2 weeks balik Acana ulit siguro siya.

^note lang with sawdust, it contains lots of fats (minsan may plastic pa), fat causes inflammation so hinay lang sa pagbigay, much better kung add mo lang sa dogfood and not make it as the main dish. nung ito binigay ko sa bulldog ko before okay naman at first pero as time goes by, nagsugat-sugat ang skin. naging reason pa ng mange kasi unbalanced yung meal. mas okay pa rin talaga ang human-grade meat than sawdust/meat scraps.
