Went to Coron last June 17-20 with my husband for the first time and I fell in love with the place. 

We stayed at Sunz En Coron, not so pricey/cheap yung resort but then two thumbs up! Ang ganda ng ambiance, so relaxing, may pool pa and then ang sarap mag-chill sa cabanas nila. Got their semi deluxe room with breakfast, masarap naman and madami rin choices. They clean the room everyday even if you don't ask them to. Super friendly pa ng staffs so if babalik ako dito, definitely will choose this resort again. 

June 17 - Just rented a tricycle for 400 php since 3:30pm na kame nakarating sa resort because as usual, delayed na naman Cebu Pacific. At around 4pm, kuya Andy picked us up already then we went directly to climb Mt. Tapyas. Hubby and I enjoyed this one because we love to jog, so we ran slightly going up. Nakakapagod but then once you're on top, super worth it ng view. After this, we went to Maquinit Hot Spring then paid the entrance fee of 200 php each. Super relaxing ng water, tanggal rin ang stress after ng wedding preparations hehe! We ate dinner pala at Kawayanan Grill, ordered their chicken barbecue and dynamite which I think is pricey but masarap naman.

June 18 - Availed Tour C (Malcapuya Island then we added 250php each for Banana Island and Bulog Dos Sandbar) c/o Coron Galeri, inuna muna namen to since madami nag-book for that day. It was rainy when we got to the island, but then it stopped naman thankfully.  Of all the three that we went to, mas nagustuhan namen ni hubby yung Banana Island because hindi makati yung water lol. Dito na rin pala kame nag-lunch, ang dami ng food! Fish, Liempo, Chicken, Pusit, Talong and Watermelons so bawi lahat ng energy. We had our dinner sa Coffee Kong, masarap coffees nila and sulit because yung large is 130php for their hot drinks, pero malaki naman talaga di ko na lang inubos baka hindi ako makatulog. We also ordered their waffles (with banana slices and strawberry syrup) and also their brownies, yummy in fairness!

June 19 - Tour B1 (Coral Garden, CYC Beach, Hidden Lagoon, Bulungan Beach, Twin Peaks Reef and Kayangan Lake) c/o Coron Galeri again. Favorite ko yung Hidden Lagoon, super clear ng water talon ako ng talon sa boat then buti high tide nun. Second is Kayangan Lake, wasn't able to cliff jump ayaw ako payagan ni hubby hehe! Pero maganda rin naman talaga, can't believe na nakapunta na rin ako dun finally because nakikita ko lang yun sa pictures. We had our lunch sa Bulungan Beach, privately owned by Mr. Al (founder of Coron Galeri). In fairness sa staffs/tour guide nila, super bait and alam talaga nila history kung paano nabuo ang Coron Galeri. Photographer pala si Mr. Al, kaya pala ang ganda ng shots/videos sa office nila. Yung may ari ng boats, nikwento rin nila yung story na dati hirap sila sa source of income pero ngayon 12 boats na daw ang meron sha. 

Our boat docked before 5pm so sinulit na namen ni hubby, namili na kame pasalubong sa souvenir shop na walking distance lang. Dun kase pinakamura sa lahat ng pinagtanungan namen (shirts na cotton, dried fish, kasoy) so madami kame binili, and naka-discount rin kame. We had our dinner sa Bistro Coron, ordered pasta and sandwich na good for sharing, masarap rin promise!

June 20 - Check out was 11am, so after eating breakfast nag ayos na kame ng things ni hubby, just relaxed and waited for our van transfer. Flight was supposed to be at 1:25 pm pero 3:15 na kame nakaalis because of the delay.

I will definitely go back to Coron! Kulang ang 4 days kase ang dami pang pwedeng puntahan.

hi sis how's the wifi at the hotel? i really need good wifi kasi i will be going there on september. but i need to work, how about pocket wifi okay b? dun s cafe is that open 24 hrs kasi i read before that may wifi dun pero not sure if it's fast. thanks

^ We relied on 3G instead, mabilis sa town kahit sa island hopping haha! Nawawalan lang signal at times sa uphill areas, but then sa airport mabilis. Kase based from our experience, mahina wifi connection nila (resort) and sa establishments rin na napuntahan namen like Coffee Kong - not 24 hours by the way. Si hubby tiis mode tuloy magwork using his mobile phone.

Went to coron last June 19- 23. Stayed at Micasa Lodge. I loved the location kasi walking distance from everything! And yung receptionist na lang pinagbubook namin ng mga tours namin, they're super nice.

Availed of the tours from niceinparadise . I loved the lunch buffet!!! isang platter ng crabs and sobrang sarap ng fish!!! nagsawa ako sa crabs pinipigilan na nga ako ng kasama kong kumain pero madami pa din natira. Groups are a minimum of six people pero madaming food sobra sobra lagi samin.
Tour A(Coron island tour) was the best!!! Tour B(Best beaches) was meh except for banana island which has so many clams!

Don't forget to eat at Sinugba sa Balay! malapit to sa Mt Tapiyas. Try their octopus sisig and kalamansi with basil slushie. Sarap!!!

And don't forget to buy danggit sa palengke. Gina's mayamaya delivered yung danggit sa hotel namin. Packaged na siya ng maayos para sa baggage!

Hello everyone, we'll be in Coron next month (Aug. 16-19) 2 adults 1 child. I'm eyeing Bancuang Mansion for our hotel (newly opened lang daw to December last year and yung pool nila will be opened on 15 July) Based on the pictures on their website ok naman rooms nila and near coron town proper pa so going around town is  easy. Meron na po ba dito sainyo naka pag stay sa Bancuang Mansion? Any feedback about the hotel po?

Regarding naman sa tour namin, i asked for a quotation from a travel agency based in Coron and they quoted us the following:

Pag private ultimate tour naman 4K (includes lunch and entrance fees pero yung pupuntahan na tourist spots yung mentioned above, pag daw nag pa add ako ng additional destination, sagot ko na entrance fee. Mura na po ba to kasi may nakita ako pag joining tour nasa 650.00 lang.

Yung sa Coron Town Tour naman they quoted us 1,400.00 includes entrance fee sa maquinit hot spring and miryenda na daw. Medjo namamahalan din ako. Pano po ba pag nag DIY na lang ako sa town tour. Kasi i read here na pag mag hire lang ng trici 400.00 lang. yung 400 na po ba yun tour na around town included na Mt. Tapyas and Maquinit Hotspring?

Anyway, Yung coron town tour madali lang siya gawin on your own. Kasi yung Mt Tapiyas walking distance lang sa hotel namin. Pero kung gusto niyo mag tricycle 10php lang hanggang mt tapiyas. wala naman entrance dun, magdala lang kayong tubig.

Sa maquinit hotspring 150php per person yung tricycle. balikan na yun. tapos 200 php yung entrance sa maquinit hot spring.

tapos yung mga souvenir shops, palengke etc.. malapit naman lahat eh. kaya nga lang lakarin lahat lalo na kung sa coron town proper yung hotel niyo. pero mura lang naman tricycle 10php lang.

dapat din mag coron town tour kami pero sabi ng receptionist namin di naman daw kelangan sumama pa sa tour kasi malapit lang naman. yung maquinit hot spring lang malayo kaya kelangan maghire ng tricycle na balikan.

Narealize ko mukhang mas ok na lang na kunin ko yung 4k na private ultimate coron tour and then dagdag na lang ako sa entrance fee kasi gusto ko din mapuntahan baracuda  lake at coral garden (which are not included in their private  coron ultimate tour). and patangal ko na lang yung town tour since as what you've said madali lang i tour ang town. nasa coron kami ni bf on aug 19 to 23. Eco lodge ko balak magbook ng accommodation. Yung quote nila sakin nasa 13.7k (2pax)5d 4n with breakfast and transfer and 3 days tour (town tour, coron island tour and banana-malcapuya tour)  what do guys think? may ka-share nga pala sa boat yan. Patulan ko na ba?

sa Ecolodge din kami ngstay last April. Hinde package kinuha namin, just the room. After checking a lot of travel agencies around Coron town for tours, ewan ko ba ba't kami nagend up na sa Ecolodge na lang magbook.
Ecolodge book the tours with JY Travel (formerly Cheaptravel Coron). Hinde ko sure kung exclusive sa JY sila nagbobook.
The price that they quote samin is same lang naman sa ads ng JY travel na nagkalat around Town (the office of JY is ilang tumbling lang din from Ecolodge), yung brochure na binigay ng front desk is from JY mismo.
Ecolodge arranged the tour for us, sila ang tumawag sa JY and sila din nagsettle ng payment. We paid the tours during checkout.
When we transferred to a different hotel na ang labo ng tour packages (hinde ko alam sino tour operator sila affiliated), we called JY directly, they gave us discounts when we said na kami mismo magsesettle ng bayad, yes mas mababa pa sa published rate nila. Reason is direct booking kami, wala na daw cut pa ang hotel. Kung alam ko lang sana from the start dumiretso na lang kami sa kanila.

@tough_chic, you can compute the price individually, hotel+ tours etc and compare na lang if reasonable naman siya. Ok din naman kasi kung package na kukunin nyo eh para less hassle.
