^Ay really sis? Have you been to both resorts? In terms of crowd and privacy, anong place yung konti lang ang tao? Hubby and I kasi don't like big crowds or yung magulo kasi we want to relax lang talaga. We were planning to go to Amanpulo sana but the whole month of June sarado daw sila for renovations.

I've  been to Two Seasons, and my colleagues are in Huma now. Beachwise, foodwise and roomwise, mas ok ang Two Seasons.

Tahimik sa Two Seasons lalo na dun sa Island tip bungalows, yung malapit na sa Bulog Dos. Sarap mag-chill lang dun lalo na sa Jacuzzi sa veranda ng bungalow mismo while watching the sunset. solid!

^Thanks! I emailed them to ask if they can offer me a good deal since off season travel dates namin. I'll wait for their reply and decide then.

Hubby and I will be in Coron on June 3-6. We are planning to stay sa Tameta Pension house. May feedback po ba kayo sa pension house nato? Plano rin namin makisabay ng tour ni hubby, hopefully meron po dito na pupunta din during those dates but if wala then we are better off to check na lang sa coron mismo.

Is Coron better than El Nido or Bohol? I like beach bumming and island hopping. Snorkeling, not so much. Diving, hindi ako marunong unfortunately!

kung beachbumming ok din naman sa coron -- go to malcapuya island, still my favorite beach. pero kung gusto mo talaga ng super daming beaches, mas madaming pristine beaches sa el nido

Thanks, will really take note of that! Curious talaga ako kasi I've heard a lot of people say that Coron is their favorite local destination (and these are people who've traveled to many places already). Must check it out this year.

^i'm one of those people! Coron is my favorite local destination! sayang lang hindi ka mahilig sa snorkeling kasi yun talaga ang the best dun (especially sa Lusong Coral Garden).

kung beach-bumming and island hopping ang trip mo... mag-Coron ka na rin kasi maganda din ang limestone formation and everything (it's a feast to the eyes) so i think you'll still enjoy it.

are you really set on not snorkeling? try mo, sis. haha nangulit pa!

I agree! don't missed snorkeling in Coron during island hopping, there are best spots for it. Enjoy talaga, like in lusong coral garden and also the shipwreck spot, though nakakakilabot rin but ang daming corals and fishes sa area na yon.

Haha, sige mga sis, I'll try it na rin siguro kahit sandali lang. I'm usually just content with swimming around or sitting on the beach on lazy mode, LOL. One other activity I'd like to be able to do someday is diving, mukhang enjoy kasi yung mga divers.

Hi sis! Me and my college friends went to Coron last March 2012 and we only spent around 10K each all-in including plane tickets. We stayed there for 3D2N and our package already included 2 days island hopping (first day was nearby spots like Kayangan Lake, Siete Pecados, etc then 2nd day was Malcapuya-Banana Island).

Namimiss ko na talaga sa Coron.  10 days kami dun. From Dec 17-Dec 27 College friends Sobrang saya One of the best beach I've been to!

Anong hotel na may pool ang recommended ninyo?

it depends on what your budget is. we stayed at Asia Grand View and it's highly recommended. gusto ko kasi yung maganda ang surroundings, mapuno and very spacious, and maganda ang pool. around 5K/night.

Finally ended up staying at Huma Island. Maganda yung place nila but was a little disappointed with their furnishings (walang sinabi sa Abaca). Their breakfast/lunch food were very limited but their dinner menu from their Lebanese and Italian restaurants were very good.

Service-wise very accommodating yung staff nila. We were originally booked at their water villa. It was nice with a jacuzzi right at the deck with a great view of the other islands. Problem lang it was a little noisy since the villa was right across their generator house. After the first night we asked to be transferred to a quieter villa. They upgraded us to their beach villa since walang available na water villa which turned out to be better for us since we were right at the beach. They had a nice stretch of beach (fine yellow sand) that was always kept clean.

Although they opened in November the resort is still on soft opening since they incurred damage from typhoon Yolanda. The water villas on the quieter side of the island and half of their spa were damaged kaya dami nilang ongoing repairs.

Overall, nag-enjoy din naman kami ni hubby maski nag-uulan when we were there. Relax lang, pantagal stress. Siguro we would come back once fully opened na sila with all amenities complete.
