PRC License Renewal

hi mga sis! I dont know if this is the right section to put my inquiry. But im just wondering, I need to renew my PRC license (Nurse) this december. Nagooffer ba ang SM sa buong pilipinas ng renewal at paano kung mag change status ako. May iba kasi sabi na okay lang na hindi mag change ng status or last name sa PRC license. magkakaroon ba ng aberya pag nag apply na ako sa ibang bansa pag nataon? magkano kaya ang bayad sa SM po? thanks po!

i don't know about the SM part but with regards to changing status or name/surname on your license, it's inevitable that you're gonna have to change it. so the sooner the better, para no hassle in the future.

Kainis, went to SM to renew my brother's PRC ID. Pero according to the staff dun, di daw pwede kasi kelangan personal appearance kasi pipicturan daw...

So pano kaya to, e nasa abroad ang kuya ko.. Kumpleto naman requirements, me authorization letters, etc.. Sabi nung sa SM, baka pwede daw pag sa main office ng PRC ako pupunta..

So plan ko is tumawag muna sa PRC main office before ako pupunta para di masayang ang punta ko dun.. Sana naman e payagan ako ma-renew ID ni Kuya.. Kumpleto naman sa requirements e..

^sis kapag sa PRC mismo hindi na pipicturan. magaattach ka lang ng photo 1x1 with white background and yun na ang gagamitin para sa new i.d. babalik ka na lang sa scheduled date para makuha ang i.d..

^ thanks sa reply, sis! Buti naman pwede pala dun.. Plan ko punta sa prc main ng Wed.. Ba't kaya sa satellite offices andaming kyeme.. Me dala naman ako pic, sabi ko nga baka pwedeng yun na gamitin. Sabi, di daw pwede... Hay... Convenient sana sa akin ang SM Marikina, anlapit lang sa amin..

I renewed mine last Feb and I tried sa SM North.Offline daw, kainis! So no choice , punta ako sa main.basta may pic ka na may name mo in plain white background ok na.Mabilis na pati, 7 days lang nakuha ko na, 750 php  lang (plus I pad 30 php kasi na-lateako ng renewal).Better na lang ganun hinitay ko makauwi ako kaysa naman i-renew ko from the consulate dito sa Australia aabutin ako ng siyam-siyam at ang daming requirements!

til what time kaya open yung prc renewal sa sm? mon-sun ba yun? kasi balak ko na talaga magrenew ng license ko kasi 2 years na syang expired. hehe. magkano kaya ang penalty dun? thanks sa sasagot

^sis ang penalty hindi naman ganun kalaki.Months lang ako delayed sa renewal (expired ng May 2012 and nag renew ako Feb 2013- so mga 9 months?), 30 php lang so kung 2 years ka baka x2 lang, meaning baka 60 php lang. I wouldn't recommend doing it in SM North,unreliable.Do it from the main sa Morayta mabilis lang but you have to set aside time to do it.I finished mine (including papicture kasi wala  na akong current photo with name) in 2-3 hours (I went there afternoon na).Wala na pating expedited or rush,i think 1 week-10 days makukuha mo na.I was nervous about this kasi I was on a time crunch,my flight back to Aussie was in 2 weeks time pero salamat sa Diyos,umabot naman

^nice to know na merun na pala nito sa SM north. checked PRC's website this morning, wala pa ang SM North sa listahan.
Btw, sis would you know kung open sila pag Sunday? TIA!

^not sure eh.I went there on a week day(Monday).SM North DOES offer the service sa mga Bayad Centers (or service centers nila, I don't remember what it's called.basta yung may forex).SAna lang ok na ngayon kasi dati "offline" daw.I don't want to even ask why this is such, may kasama kasi akong entourage na hubby,baby at nanny (akala ko mabilis lang) so I didn't ask anymore.You can try calling SM malls if they entertain this on a Sunday.I really can't see why not since kahit Sunday open naman yung service centers nila.

Thanks for the link! This is what I was looking for. I just got married last month, and I already have an original copy of our Certificate of Marriage. Pero hindi pa yun NSO-certified (take 2-4 months from date filed). And coincidentally, my PRC license expires this year. Pagsasabayin ko na yung renewal & change status. Kaso the link is about Nurses & the process is long (takes 2-3 months to get a renewed license with a new surname). Ganun katagal?

Yes sis unfortunately for Nurses ganun katagal, wala daw sila rush or express processing

Renewal sa SM malls take way too long. Advisable lang ito sa mga malayo sa metro manila. Nagtanong ako sa SM Marikina and they said it'll take about 1 and a half months to claim my new ID?! Uh, no thanks.

So I went to the main office instead and was pleasantly surprised. Aside from konti lang ang nagpapa-renew on a Thursday afternoon, everything from start to finish took under an hour lang, and I received na my new ID! Whoa. Noon kasi binabalikan pa ang ID after a certain number of days/weeks. Namangha ako.

Usually how many days makukuha ang prc id for nurse?(Newly registered) 

December 2010 pa ako passer and ngayon ko pa lang kukunin yung id ko. Hindi pa naman kasi ako nagwowork as a nurse at hindi pa need kaya hindi ko kinukuha. 

Kayo mga sis how many days/weeks before nakuha ang id? Gusto ko na kasi magapply abroad eh.  Atat lang.

Last last week, we went to SM Sta. Rosa to renew my id. 2011 pa expired id ko (1st ID).. Pagpasok ko dun bungad nung guard is wala daw nagrerenew ngayon. Tapos tinanong ko dun sa desk clerk kung kelan pwede magrenew sakanila, then she replied since June pa offline system nila at wala pa daw confirmation kung ibabalik pa daw nila ang service dun. Sabi ko.. Ahh okay! Sana hindi na lang nakadvertise na pwede sa SM branches.

Eh dahil sa need ko na irenew ang id ko (1st id). Nagpunta ako sa main branch (Morayta). Super naamaze naman ako.  Super bilis talaga. Siguro dahil walang nakascedule na mga magpaparegister na bagong mga passer. 45 mins. lang nakuha ko na yung license ko.

Nagpunta ulit ako last week and nakasabay ko mga bagong passer (CPA). After 2 hours natapos ako magparegister at pinapabalik ako after 2 months para makuha ang new id. Ang tagaal lang.
