Tinatanong at kinakausap Nya ko during hsg para marelax me. 15k sa st Luke's global. Sa cardinal 10k. Walang sedation yan. Di ko natanong if pwede sedated sana nagpasedation na Lang ako huhu

@maman late ko nakita msg mo sis. thanks. ask ko sa ob ko next cycle if ano ang best na na suggestion niya sa amin kung fertilitymeds plus monitoring or yun nga iui baka nga gusto niya lang masulit yung cycle with meds. isa lang sure ako papacheck ko muna sperms ni hubby if nagimprove go go na kami kahit alin sa dalawa. pero if not yung sperms muna ang iintindihin ko.

@purpleangel hehe case to case basis naman sis. unusual nga lang daw talaga cervix ko. tatanong ko din kay doc if magiging problem kapag nagpa-iui kasi mamaya hindi makapasok sperms like sa hsg nahirapan sa akin. afraid 

@miskha08 musta cycle mo? lumakas na ba spotting? di bale sis hanggang may regla may pagasa pa.

FYI yung mother ko 38 na niya ko pinagbuntis. isang tube niya wala kasi ectopic sa unang pregnancy. pcos din -ayan namana ko hehe. dad ko din lowsperm count.

at yun tita ko din 45 na pinanganak cousin ko.

sis Jeannef, hubby ko din has oligozoospermia due to varicocele (left ata) pero we opted not to do the surgery kasi di naman din yun ang cure sabi ng urologist niya. so far, due to fertility supplements e sobra nag-improve sperm count and motility niya through healthy options supplements (zinc, vitamin e with selenium, vitamin c). now, nagtatake din siya ng rogin e and yun fertilaid for men. last week nagpaSA siya and ang count na niya is naging 30M (he started from a very poor count of 3M lang) and motility 60%-50%-40% (1-2-3 hrs yan). hope makatulong to sa inyo. search ka sa net ano best ways to improve your hubby's SA. kami it took us more than 3 years para mahanap best fertility supplements for hubby.

it's my 11DPO today... baka dumating na si AF tomorrow although wala naman ako nararamdamang kakaiba. Pansin ko lang humahaba yun DPO ko... maybe because of the prenatal vitamins I'm taking...

           Sis MISHKA..di pa me nakakapagpakuha ng APAS test...pasaway talaga me..( hekhek) But I consulted another immunologist sabi naman nia....di porke me mga allergies eh me APAS na...parang nagkaroon me ng hope na wala me noon( sana naman..hehe) Iniisip ko..baka nga itong PCOS na ito at mga cyst ko hindrance bakit hirap magbuntis...( sana naman mga cysts na ito..di bumara sa fallopian tubes...)

Hi sis mishka and purpleangel11, aside from frequent miscarrying, ano pa bang symptoms ng APAS? I've never been pregnant but I have two failed IUIs already. Not sure if I should see an immunologist. I'm actually scared to find out.

@presyosa ligaya sis nice naman tumaas yung count ni hubby mo. from 3m galing ang laki ng tinaas. hubby ko 7.5 last july. this friday namin paparecheck. nung pinasemen analysis sya last july mga 3 months na din sya take ng vit e with selenium and I think nakatulong yun sa kanya kasi pasado siya sa motility. so pinagpatuloy ko pa rin.

naguguilty nga ako hehe kasi ang dami ko ng pinapainom sa kanya buti at masunurin. naging doc quack quack na ko sa kanya.

eto mga gamot niya regular toh: vit c, vit e with selenium, revicon max, b complex

tapos dati kapag fertile period ko pinag- zeman at enduranz ko siya. for 2 cycles eto tapos stop ko na.

ngayon pinalitan ko ng zinc at glutathione. plus nag-add pa ko ng arginine, l carnitine at coenzyme q10.

plan ko mag-add pa ng flaxseed oil. isip ko pa baka kasi its too much. basta hindi ko pagsasabayin kasi baka hindi na maging beneficial kapag sumobra naman.

sana naman eh magimprove din ang sperms niya.

sis Jeannef, naku si hubby nga nagstart siya sa less than 100k, tapos naging 300k, 700k, pero di talaga nataas kahit 1M. last year lang tumaas ng milyones. yabang na nga si hubby, sabi niya dumadami na daw bataan niya. saya nga sis e kasi kung magtuloy-tuloy, next year try namin pa-work up ulit o kaya IUI na.

nagtake din si hubby ng revicon max, zeman, enduranz (lahat yun 3 di niya rin hiyang) at coenzyme q10 (di ko alam kung hiyang niya kasi 1 month lang niya take pero as per sa research ko nakakatulong yan pag my blockage sa ugat). i read maganda din daw nga yan glutathione, continue niyo lang sis. yan arginine at l carnitine importante din yan kay hubby, i think meron na yan sa gluta, check mo sis yun elements na meron yun gluta para isahan gamot lang. kay hubby kasi meron na yan dun sa fertilaid niya. ako din dami ko painom dati kay hubby, hahaha, sabi ni dr. quack-quack din na asawa niya. pero sis, sabi ng cousin ko na TTC din for 10 years (as per her OB from australia), mas ige na mga hubbies daw ang madami inom kesa sa atin. hindi daw kasi natin alam nakakaapekto din pala yun sa uterus lining natin or somewhere along sa reproductive natin. kaya keribels lang yan nina hubbies natin.

hi sis Jeannef - yes sis eh CD4 ko ngayon. hehe! Korek ka dyan! kapag nawala na si MENS goodbye mga pangarap and since meron pa naman go lang go. Naka-stimulate ulit ako now.  Puregon 75 iu for 6 days. Then kanina lang nagpa-APAS work up panel ako. hehe... Sabi nga namin gagawin na namin lahat.

hi sis purpleangel11 - hehe.. gusto ko na din makisiguro. hehe... tsaka nagtaas na ng presyo sa Hi Precision.  Yung na inquire ko sa kanila na 6800 dati now 7600 na. Grabe pala ang dugong kailangan nila. 5 tubes!  Anyways balitaan kita ano nangyari.  Keeping my fingers crossed ako na wala naman syang negative result.

What is Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome?


Antiphospholipid antibody syndrome (APAS) is a group of clinical manifestations associated with the presence of high levels of antiphospholipid antibodies (APA) in the blood of the affected individual. It is associated with recurrent thromboses (formation of blood clots) in the venous or arterial circulation
.
There are a number of classifcations of APAS:

Primary: No associated disorder;

Secondary: Those clearly exhibiting features of an autoimmune disease such as systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE);

Catastrophic: Formation of many thrombi in multiple locations in a short space of time.
Statistics on Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome

Unknown. APAs may be found in the blood of up to 50% of people affected by systemic lupus erythematosus. However these antibodies have also been found in 5-15 of apparently normal individuals.
There does not appear to be any racial predisposition for primary APAS, however it appears to be more common in young-middle aged adults.

Risk Factors for Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome

As APA have been found in apparently normal individuals it seems that they are necessary, but not sufficient in themselves to cause the clinical manifestations of antiphospholipid syndrome. It is suggested that triggering factors are involved, for instance various infections or medications. A genetic association also seems likely.

Symptoms of Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome

Symptoms may include:
Livedo reticularis (bluish mottling of the skin, usually on the legs);
Leg and finger ulcers;
Thrombophlebitis (development of blood clot and inflammation in a vein);
Painful bruising (purpura);
Leg swelling (DVT);
Pulmonary embolism;
Peripheral oedema (swelling of peripheral body parts, due to renal impairment);
Gangrene affecting fingers and toes;
Myocardial infarction ('coronary');
Atypical heart sounds (murmurs).

How is Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome Diagnosed?

Normally blood tests are performed looking for abnormalities in the blood. CT scans and MRI are useful in identifying past strokes or heart attacks. Doppler studies are used to identify deep vein thrombosis (DVT).

Prognosis of Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome
People with APAS are at increased risk from an early age of death or disability caused by stroke, heart attack, pulmonary embolism and renal failure. However, they are usually able to lead normal and rewarding lives with appropriate treatment. The presence of an underlying autoimmune disease such as SLE also affects outcome.

How is Antiphospholipid Antibody Syndrome Treated?

Occasionally patients are very ill and may require hospitalisation. Usually they can be treated as outpatients. A variety of specialists may be involved in the care of one patient.
It is desirable to limit other factors which increase the tendency of the blood to coagulate, including quitting smoking, ceasing the oral controceptive pill and controlling blood pressure.
If a patient has developed thromboses in the past, they may need to take long term anticoagulant medication such as warfarin.
Patients who are pregnant need to be treated and monitored carefully throughout pregnancy due to the risk of developing complications.

      Sis MISHKA...ay ano ba yan! Nagmahal na pala sila...mag PGH na lang siguro ako...kaso baka next year pa me pakuha..hehe....Hoping mag negative ka sis....Pero sabi naman ng immuno na napagtanungan ko...pag nagpositive daw...yung iba..nakukuha sa aspirin..nabubuntis....Mas mahirap ang kaso sis ano...pag pinakyaw ang sakit sa immuno...like positive ka na sa APAS..tpos taas pa ng NK cells mo...samahan mo pa na me anti sperm antibody....at di pa nagmatch ang DNA at genes ni hubby....yan na ang worst case scenario talaga....gastusan to the max....hay sana wala tayong mga ganito sis...scary talaga....

@presyosa ligaya yes sis continues ko lang paggamot sa kanya hehe gusto ko nakabreakdown yung vitamins lols. feeling ko mas potent. same with branded vs generic. sa healthy options at gnc din ako bumibili. sana nga sis tuloytuloy na yung sa hubby mo para pagbalik ninyo ng workup and if IUI mas marami mas masaya. kahit kasi ata isang sperm para makapagfertilized need din ng teamwork para magbreakdown yung shield ng egg lol  parang ganun

@miskha08 yes sis fight lang ng fight. hanggat may pampagamot go lang ng go. hindi tayo bibigyan ni God ng obstacles kung alam niyang hindi natin kakayanin. Goodluck this cycle. balitaan mo kami dito. silip silip lang ako.

@purpleangel11 sis question. pinag-apas test ka ba ni dr aguilar? alam mo ba kaya ko siya napili kasi nabasa ko magaling siya sa case ng apas. lols praning lang talaga ko kasi kung sakali hindi na ako lilipat ng ibang doctor. hopefully hindi ako apas.

nabasa ko din sis regarding apas... mostly sila yung palagi namimiscarriage... nabubuntis pero nawawala. I mean walang heartbeat or kaya kulang sa AOG weeks. late yung development kumbaga tapos kapag hindi nakahabol nawawala.

or minsan naman sila yung hindi mabuntis buntis UNEXPLAINED INFERTILITY. ivf and all walang nabubuo. possible case din siya.

Sis purpleangel Korek! May nabasa akong blog ang dami 3 categories siya positive. APAS, LAT and NK. Huhu... Ayoko ng ganon. Sasabog na siguro ulo ko nun. Hubby ko kasi ayaw nya pila hintay. Kaya sabi nya doon na lang kami sa Hi Precision. Two weeks pa paghihintay ko sa result.

FYI about APAS - immunological problem which may blood clotting component na nag cause ng clotting sa placenta while pregnant ka. Ito ang leading cause ng miscarriages. yung nasabi ko nga here before about a family friend na 6x nag miscarriage because of APAS (umaabot lang ng 2-3mos yung pregnancy) pero nagkaanak naman sya mga sis! So nothing is impossible talaga! Lagi ko iniisip may IVF pa naman!

Sis purpleangel11 and sis  Jeannef, how's your experience with Dr. Aguilar. I'm planning to change OB kasi i'm not satisfied with my current OB-Gn. I also have PCO right ovary and Retroverted uterus so kailangan ko talaga kumunsulta sa isang OB-RE
