Please share your DIY Wedding Invitations

I just did the design of our invites in photoshop, then I had my friend print them. Gumagawa talaga siya ng invites kasi. Then I just bought envelopes from National bookstore.

Our invites were very casual lang.. But para maging special, we incorporated yung design ng reception backdrop sa invites para match sa feel ng wedding. Inedit ko yung invites para ilagay yung actual photo namin sa wedding. Eto sila side by side. Hehe

^ nice sis! kayo nga pala yung geometry ang theme. tama ba? hehe. i did our save the date design and layout too and just sent them as e-save the date!

Done sending out our physical invites na may 1 month to go for RSVP lang. hahaha! Didn't pay much attention to it kasi nasasayangan talaga ko coz tinatapon lang diba. We printed 30 pcs lang the rest was sent via PM in FB (mas active naman mga tao sa social networks) then had our invitations posted in dropbox. Sorry, di ko kasi feel yung event thingy sa FB. haha!

grabe baka maloka ako pag nagpunta ako ng Tabora. Sa Wellmanson and Carolina's (SM Megamall) pa nga lang na overwhelm na ko, sa Tabora pa kaya!

^sis twinx, go share na.. we're all for inspiration here naman we did the same, entourage lang and family ang may physical invites, the rest are through facebook.. although wala pa kaming instructions on RSVP, we're thinking of google forms lang hehe

^^sis tomatostellar, i too got overwhelmed with Tabora, pero mostly sa sikip at dami ng tao haha. kaya dapat pag nagpunta ka doon may clear picture ka na ng gusto mong output, kasi mapapabili ka talaga ng mga kung ano ano.

nako sis, kung pwede lang sa tabi ng Divi tumira kasi ang layo namin don. Heaven kasi talaga yun for almost all things eh. And agree ako sayo sis simang na dapat you have a list with you then lots of focus kung ano lang bibilhin mo, otherwise you'll end up buying things na di mo kailangan.

Hi! Any suggestions where to source paper for the invites? I've been to National Bookstore and Divi, pero can't seem to find any gray paper/board. TIA!

^try visiting Prestige Paper for paper supplies and envelopes. Its located at the back of Fishermall in QC.

You can also visit Office Warehouse branches..

Found background online tapos ginawan ako ng chibi drawing ng officemate ko.

Hi mga sis, my co- DIYers   I am in a quandary at the moment. hehe.. Just finished doing the first page of our mockup Wedding invites.  Madami kasi akong ginawa kasi ang boss ko eh medyo pihikan at gusto makita ang final output before deciding. hehe...

Anyways, going back to the topic,  for those who are finished with their DIY invites, what did you use as envelopes?  Hindi kasi kasya yung 8.5x11 na paper (na gagawing envelope) para dun sa invite ko.  I'm doing pocketfold invites, do I still need an envelope?  Pasensya na sa kung medyo stupid yung question.  Nakakapraning lang, kasi I just realized na we just need to finalize our entourage, para mabuo ko yung invites, then realized, I may need to make another if wala akong envelope.  Ang gulo ko ba, bigla akong nagpanic.. hehe..  Sana may makasagot. Thanks in advance.

^ hi missus o, you may not need an envelope anymore because your invitation can fold into an envelope shape? but will there be space on the back to put in the name of the addresee? if not, then i think you can go for an envelope. maybe you can explore other paper sizes to see which one would make a suitable envelope. best of luck!

i hope the others will have better ideas because my invitations are pretty straightforward.

^Thanks sis 120515. Since I'm also using cardstock, I can just print on it first. But, it does still need envelopes as they are going to be closed with punched out paper, then yung monogram namin. Kaya kailangan pa din ng envelope. I saw some cheap ones at Staples and office warehouse. Pwedi naman kahit hindi bongga yung envelope right? Sigh... the joys of wedding preps... 😓😓😓

^ i didn't really spend much on the envelopes, i think i got 20-pc packs at $2-3 per pack

^Thanks sis. That was what I was initially planning on. hehe. Either that, or buy a fancier set of enevelopes pero para sa mga ninong and ninang lang. hehe. The rest yung cheap kind na. DIYing is giving me a headache. But I'd still rather do it, than spend more money elsewhere. hehe
