;) ^^ The gentlemax will be transferred daw in ortigas once it opens, so wala pa i suppose.  Ginamit sakin yung for light skin tone na option kasi my skin is maputi daw hehe  I actually kind of like this new machine kasi its not messy and it was pretty quick.  There was like a surprising cold spray before every shot, and i think yun yung reason why tolerable kahit papaano.  Mainit lang near the the place where no man have gone hehe

Girl, gentlemax din ba sa medical city? I applied fucicort, i have one at home so i didn't buy anymore.  And i took a bath that night, like i always do.  There was no mention na bawal, basta wag lang daw hot bath.

Gentlelase laser (alexandrite by Candela) sa Medical City Ortigas, same sa St Lukes. Parang wala akong nakitang brazilian last time i checked.

Thanks for this sis. So its either i go to an out-of-the way clinic na soprano xl ang gamit OR try it in a conveniently located clinic na light sheer ang gamit then magtiwala sa effect ng emla.   ;)

littlemisschievous

As long as it is done by a professional, you can do it :)  It took me awhile to build the courage to actually do it myself. But then I realized that after the underarms, brazilian just had to go next.
Just a word of advice, light sheer is extremely painful, so you can start with soprano xl and then light sheer for touch ups.  :-*

;) Girl, the one in st luke's is gentlemax, baka yang gentlelase yung lumang machine nila.  I went there before for consultation, derma says ok daw talaga yung gmax kaya lang sobrang expensive naman yata

Super happy lang ako kasi I feel so fresh now.  My forest is now gone!  As in manipis yung hair na tumutubo and konti lang talaga.  Take note lang na uminom ng ponstan para tolerable.

heiressalex, yan ang problem sa mga taga south or makati.

The receptionist at st Luke's said they are using GentleMax, did you confirm recently with them? May feature nga about the GentleLase which they used to have, but that was years ago. Call 7230301 ;)

Just researching how this is better than lightsheer duet. Anyone who have tried the painless function of duet? Ito daw machine Ng Belo in Mega.

I'm having Diode Laser hair removal both sa ua and brazilian. Nakaka 4 sessions na ko. I can say excellent sya sa ua. Once every 6 weeks na lang ako kung mag shave. And snshave ko sya not because mahaba yung hair but because I got the unlimited promo for 9months kasi so kahit wala pa hair pwede na ko bumalik for the next session para sulit. Sa Brazilian naman medyo matagal. Kasi after 4 sessions medyo makapal pa din yung stands na tumutubo. Although sa superior part ng mons pubis, medyo kalbo na yung ibang area which is good, but sa lower part/bikini/medial area parang walang nangyari.  :( Hopefully before matapos yung unli sessions ko may improvement ako makita dun sa part na yun.

You will really need to have EMLA applied kung light sheer or gentlemax yan.  Sa soprano xl lang ako walang EMLA before, pero I tried gentlemax for booster and talagang kailangan ng EMLA or else hindi makakayang magcontinue.  In terms of results, nasimot kasi ng gentlemax yung remaining thin hairs so maganda din siya.  Lalo na next year na siguro yung next treatment ko if ever i will need booster shot again.

From time to time there is promo at skin house!  I think the benefit is that you will be needing lesser sessions since it is a very powerful machine. The rate is very expensive if you do it in a hospital using the same machine.

^I'm a patient of Dra. Martires pero sa Skin House pa din ako nagpa brazilian.  Ang sakit kasi ng light sheer even with the anaesthesia.  Malapit na sila mag open ng branch sa Kapitolyo.

@littlekinselle: 1,500 sha and you will possibly need lesser sessions than ipl or diode just because it's intended specifically for the people with coarse hair.  As in if your skin is light and your upper lip hair is not that intense, you might need like 5 sessions?

Hello girls! Reviving this thread!

I just had may first Brazilian LHR in Skin House Pasig Branch. Matagal ko na gusto simulan kaso natatakot ako na baka kasing sakit ng waxing and nagiipon pa ng lakas ng loob and money! Hahaha

Last night I was browsing sa IG, and saw the Loyalty Royalty Promo. You can avail at discounted price without minimum number of sessions, basta you availed a package with them previously, SAME AREA AND TREATMENT. Akala ko maaavail ko to, just to try sana if kaya ko pain. 1 sesh muna sana, kaso UA LHR package yung kinuha ko sakanila years ago.

Good thing they have another promo, parang duo something. I was able to get parin at discounted price pero 2 sessions dapat, EMLA fee to be paid separately (1k).

Ang sakit even with the anesthesia but it is still less painful than waxing! Nanibago ako with gentlemax pro cause the machine used sa underarm ko noon is soprano diode xl sa skin house and lightsheet diode kay Dr Martires for the booster shots. Wala ako nafeel sa soprano diode xl and even sa lightsheer diode sa underarm, no anethesia yun ah. Pero para talagang pinipitik ng rubber band yung feeling sa gentlemax pro. Good thing may ice na nippress kaya bearable pa din naman.

I will keep you updated! Hair should fall off after 2 weeks. After a month I will go back for my second session. I will need to decide before then if I will get a package na with them or go to Dr Martires and avail her package. Natatakot lang talaga ako baka mas masakit yung light sheer diode.

Some questions!! How many sessions did you need? Tsaka mas sulit ba if I buy na lang ng anesthesia sa watsons/mercury? Will it be enough? Mejo pricey kasi yung 1k. TIA!
