i am from cebu but have not entered shangrila pa. heard 2k young day tour. mahal naman ng 4k!
Have you inquired sa crimson resort and spa? plantation?

I inquired of the Shangri-la day tour package and it costs 4k/head now!
So I guess we have to look for other resorts. Any recommendation?
Movenpick naman is 2k/head

^^ I read reviews of Crimson and mostly they were saying that the beach isn't good. Rocky daw. But I think in their site, it states na  1.5k ang rate ng day tour.
Thanks, I'll try to inquire on Plantation Bay.
If mahal din, we'll opt for Moevenpick.

Question, yung bus going to Oslob, nasa City sha and not Mactan? I'm thinking of staying sa city kaya day tour lang kasi gigising naman kme ng 3am.

third day here now at crimson. wifi everywhere =)
well yeah the beach isn't nice. boracay is still the best. mabato pa when you get to the water. sakit sa paa.
what's nice is maraming places to chill. nakaka relax naman.

been to plantation bay before. do they have a beach? i recall pool lang rin then some areas where they put sand lang. nice rin their pool.

so far i'm enjoying crimson. although food is very expensive considering we have to eat 2 meals a day plus snacks and drinks while hanging out by the pool side. hotel rates talaga. buffet breakfast inclusive naman na.

^ Thanks! hmm cheaper ang rate nila by 500 than Moevenpick for the day tour.
Day Use is offered with prior reservations. Php1, 500 per person on weekdays and Php1, 800 per person on weekends. This is inclusive of lunch buffet and use of beach, swimming pool and locker room.
Pero yun, we're restricted to beach and pool lang. Have you tried their buffet?

that's a reasonable rate. just tried the buffet breakfast eh. typical hotel buffet with pastries, cereals, bacon, danggit, fruits, cold cuts, kimchi, soup, sausage, etc.
usually have ala carte lang.

yes sis, sa south terminal kayo sasakay ng ceres bus. malayo yon kung nasa mactan kayo, kaya mas ok na sa city kayo mag-stay

sis, boracay pa rin talaga ang best. lahat naman kasi ng beach jan sa mactan, artificial lang dahil kung tutuusin para lang syang pier. ang binabayaran mo lang talaga sa kanila kaya mahal yong facilities

Between Plantation Bay and Moevenpick hotel, which do you guys prefer?

mga sis! ask ko lang pag nag oslob kami ng 1st day namin

1) what hotel can you recommend na reasonable ang price or

2) mas ok na bumalik nalang kami ng city then doon na mag overnight?

if so ano ma suggest niyo na hotel na ok naman ang price?

@bluestocking: I prefer Plantation Bay kasi mas malawak ang place and yung pool nila is malaki rin.  Then yung mga staff nila is accommodating and mabait.

@Princess_Chill:
1. I think walang hotel sa Oslob sis, mga pension houses or rooms lang sa beach resort.   
2. Mas okay bumalik na sa city after touring the attractions in Oslob para convenient na rin if ever maaga ang flight niyo pabalik to where you live.

^sis i think mas mag-eenjoy kids mo sa ogtong kasi may pool sila eh tapos they also have a mini zoo. i dunno if meron pa ngayon kasi the last time we went there mayroon sila

sis kung hindi ka natuwa sa sand ng bantayan mukhang hindi mo din matataypan yung sa mactan. artificial lang kasi ang mga beach dun.

oo saka ma-seaweeds, hehe. pero sa shang yata medyo fine kaso artificial pa din. sa sumilon medyo fine kaya lang isa lang ang sand bar dun. haven't been to malapascua and camotes though.
