I have a question about credit card.

When i was is PH I got 3 credit cards.
1. HSBC Visa
2. Metrobank Femme Visa
3. Maybank Gold Visa

1. HSBC - before I left PH last year Feb 2014, meron ako naging existing balance since nag cash loan ako ng 30K na ginawa kong pang pocket money here sa UAE. So total cost, umabot ng 60K+ yung balance. But the good thing is, nung nag ka work nako i settled everything - nakipag communicate ako sa HSBC thru email then August of 2014 nakipag settlement ako umabot lang ng 30K+ yung binayaran ko since settlement sya.

2. Yung Maybank ko naman, hindi ko dapat ipapa activate since alam kong paalis nako that time. Kaso may nakiusap na nag swipe for 6 mos, and tinupad naman. After nya ma settle, pinasuyo ko nalang na ipa close na since ayokong gamitin here sa UAE yung card. So okay na to.

3. Metrobank Femme - Jan 2014 nagpa ride yung BFF ko ng DSLR worth 23K for 12 mos. Then 2 consecutive months, nakapag hulog sya. After that nawalan sya ng work kaya 5 buwan sya hindi nakahulog. So now ang existing balance pa upon cheking is around 12,500+ pa.

My questions are:
*About my Metrobank Femme CC, how would I know if open na ulit yung account ko since monthly na naghuhulog yung friend ko ulit and nababawasan na yung total balance nya?

I am currently residing in UAE - not possible yung call since mahal ang overseas. Then if papakiusapan ko naman ang friend ko, i forgot some of the details na dahil it was 2 years ago since i last made a call from the bank.

Thank you sa makakasagot sis!

^ scouted for one na walang annual fees. Wala akong nakita except for Metrobank at BPI na may tie up sa employer ko ngayon - offering lifetime no annual fees (may annual fee pa hindi dinaan kay employer)

Yung ibang mga sisses here are able to waive basta mameet ang minimum spend requirement or if they have other CCs in other banks.

^^As long as you pay in full and no installments madali lang magpag-waive ng annual fee. Napapa-waive ko siya kahit walang conditions.

thank you sis freelancer and smoothie :)
Metrobank is opening a branch extremely close to where my workplace is, so I'll check it out :) True, they do waive it..pero I'm tired na kase of having to call every time :) Allergic din ako sa interest so maganda yung payment ko dun.. kaso lang gusto ko talaga na walang annual fee for life haha!

True, that is why I call them early. Tapos pag ayaw i-waive I always say na pa-cut na lang kasi ayaw ko talaga magbayad at never akong nagbabayad. hehe

Citibank ayaw na ipa-waive annual payment. Ang kukulit pa ng agents. Next year ipapa-cut ko na kahit ano pang sabihin nila. 2000 is a huge amount of money.

^ thats how mine got cut off LOL
Umayaw talaga ako sa annual fee..and there's always that risk of them not waiving =___= pfft. I mean, siguro mas laki chances ko if I'm swiping 6-7 digits like my dad but I'm not ._. hayy max ko is 5 digits.. I just want the hassle of not bringing cash around, and not to mention the perks!!! :D I'd take free food any day, extended 0% interest sa monthly installments and discounts (babaw ba? LOL)

I don't know if you got their email pero one of my friends sa PEx nagsabi na sinendan raw sya ni Citi saying na di na sila mag wwaive ng annual fees starting this yr. anyway regardless kung totoo yun, di talaga madaling kausap ang Citi when it comes to that

I think it would depend sa promo na nakuha mo. Meron akong waive for life, yung rewards card ng Citibank, pero promo kasi nila yung nung nag-apply ako sa booth nila.

Honestly, okay lang kung putulan nila ako for the reason na ayaw ko magbayad ng annual. I'll live at meron pa naman ako.

I wonder kung strict implementation yan no waiving of annual fees. I have a card with Citibank; pero if I have to pay for annual fee, parang ayaw ko na.
I wonder kung mabilis mag approve sa Security Bank if I switch to them; sakanila kasi payroll namin ngayon.

^I do not think so. I got my Citi Rewards (ito yung free for life) then after a few months, pinadalhan nila ako ng Miles and Titanium. After 2 yrs. siningil na ako sa 2, I ask them to waive it, siyempre hindi pumayag. May conditions sila spend xxxx amount for the year to meet the requirements at that time, HSBC ang ginagamit ko madalas. So declined, until I told them na paputol na lang. May sinabing term yung tiga-Citi para ma-waive ulit ako for the 2 cards. Naku, ang mahal ng annual fee ng 2 cards ko ah, 2,500 at 3,000.
