^^sis, refer mo ako! haha nung nagpunta ako ng BPI last week to get a bank certificate, the manager offered me credit card. i filled up the form and isusubmit ko na lang requirements tomorrow.

when i asked her if may annual fee, sabi nya, i have to activate the card pa daw and i can call the hotline to waive the annual fee.

i have PNB card.. nagtataka lang ako nagtetext alert sya kapag sa gas station ko ginagamit ang card pero if sa ibang bagay like sa store walang text alert.. same din ba senyo?thanks

^siguro it's best to call them. Ako kasi may Skymiles ako then sabi ko kung pwede papalitan ng Amore. Ang ginawa nila ay binigyan ako ng Amore pero shared ang credit limit.

Citibank has this feature for local online purchases ex. Yellow Cab, Max's, etc. but for international online stores like Amazon, Nordstrom, etc. wala.

I have applied sa BPI as well, although OFW ako.  Hopefully ma-approve pero ang tagal ng process.  August 24 ko pa na-submit papers ko.  Last week and this morning, on process pa raw.

CSR mahirap macontact--laging busy or something. Tapos kung sasagot ng queries super bagal din!
Waiver ng annual fee hindi reasonable ang conditions: either apply for a supplementary or enroll sa Autocharge ng bills.

Speaking of Autocharge, nalinlang ako dyan kasi may promo na you'll get 500 GC for every enrollment. I enrolled our PLDT bill and guess what? 2 months nila hindi binayaran kay PLDT. Nalimit yung connection namin. Dahil di rin kasi kung nacredit sa acccount ko, akala ko di na enrolled sa EWB. But when I checked yung termination notice ng PLDT nakasulat naman "Charged to Eastwest". Until now di resolved yung issue na to. Ang sagot ng CSR nila: hindi naka address sa amin yung bill nyo ng PLDT. Wtf???

Nung naka autocharge ako with Metrobank walang gantong issue. I still receive my bills at home yet nababawas sa credit card ko yung amount monthly.

Worst bank ever. As in don't apply.

@ sis ayami, naku pangit talaga eastwest. Magaling lang sila sa promises pero pangit service nila. May mga kakilala ako na eastwest eh sa inis sa customer reps, pinacut nila. Ganyan rin halos nangyari sa friend ko Meralco naman. Disconnection na yung dumating although nacharge naman sa card nya. Kaya ako as much as possible i use reliable card for my bills like citi. Bdo nadala na rin ako, ganyan rin nangyari sa akin.

Ang gusto ko lang sa eastwest mababa rate nila for balance transfer. Other than that wala na. Ni hindi nagwewaive ng annual fee kahit good credit standing ka. Ang dami daming conditions. Unlike sa metrobank nagwewaive ng wala ng conditions.

Mga ilang araw magprocess ang BPI for cc application?

sis pink_sugar nagapply ako sa BPI Family ng cc during the waived annual fee for life promo, if I remember it right first week of September ako nagapply then kanina dumating na yung cc I was thinking of contacting them pa naman to ask my status.

mga sis, nung dumating yung cc wala kasi nakaindicate sa kasamang doc na guaranteed waived annual fee when I meet their condition (which I think is to have a 5k spend within 3 months). sa mga nakaavail nitong promo, how were you notified na waived na forever?

sis honeybunny, sa BDO, in order for you to log in to your online acct(which has your savings and cc statements), may one-time password na snsend as sms. so when you purchase online using your credit card and the website redirects you to a page na need mo ilagay yung acct credentials mo, dun ka manonotify thru text. pero kung online purchase lang na you have to put your cc number wala.
