^I got notified sa email, then hindi ko naman pinapansin, so sila tumatawag or inaalok nila of tumatawag ako sa kanila. Nung una ayaw ko, but finally availed it

i have 3 but we're only have 1 main cc. the rest, depende sa promo (like 50% off sa ganitong restaurant, etc). buti na din kahit ndi masyadong nagagamit yung iba nawa-waive pa din yung annual fee

Ano yung credit card mo na nawa-waive pa din yung annual fee kahit hindi gaano gamit?

^ BPI and BDO sis. yung Citibank namin madali din iwaive nun kahit hindi ito yung ginagamit naming main cc before. ngayon kasi we prefer the cash back kesa sa freebies ng BDO and BPI.

Ay mabuti. Yun din 3 ang cc ko. Pinagpapalit-palit ko lang sila ng paggamit.

I initially got a Citibank Rewards Credit Card, Then Citibank sent me Cash Back and Premier Miles pero shared credit limit. Fast forward, after 2 yrs. Ito na may charge na ng annual fee. I called Citibank requesting for a waive. Nung una ayaw pa. Eventually, sabi ko I'll just pay my dues tapos putulin na lang. Told them the reason that never pa ako nagbabayad ng annual fee, which is true. So ayun, nilibre ulit for 1 yr :)

Sissies who are using BDO do you request for CL increase or bigla nalang sila nagiincrease without notif?  Pagonline ko kanina I logged in my bdo to pay for my cc tapos nagulat ako nag increase CL ko, eh hindi naman ako nagpaincrease sakanila. Usually ano ba basehan nila bakit sila bigla nagiincrease ng CL?

Which banks do not downgrade credit limit? HSBC nagbabawas nasa fine print daw.

Hindi pa ako naka-experience ma-downgrade ng credit limit. We have BPI, HSBC, BDO, Eastwest, Unionbank and RCBC. Ilang years na rin namin ginagamit.

BPI also has a promo like citibank na parang call for cash at .99% but i think max is only 3 years and would still depend on your credit card limit.

Is there a credit card that has some sort of online system that posts your charges/usage in real time or at least within 24 hours? Kind of like banks' online banking where you see debits and credits made at approximately the end of the day.

Thanks but I'm more interested if this is common practice rather than personal experience. I think in your case they won't if you use all extensively.

We're leaving one with high limit for emergencies kasi like hospital bills ganon.

^sis I have my own credit card since college, never pa ko naka experience na nadowngrade credit limit.

Not unless, guaranteed card yung syo. Like yung limit dependent on a savings account na kailangan may balance na ma-maintain.

Postings of our swipes are actually real time. I am checking it real time if there were double swipes if I shop kasi. But for the reflection to our online banking, it will be depend on "when the merchant will submit their copy of the signed charge slip" to the banks. But rest assured you can try calling their Hotline and ask them for any real time transactions you did. But for the postings, it will actually depend on how fast the merchants gave their charged slip form to the banks. Some may even take one week before it will reflect (Etude normally does this) on our online banking

^Thanks. Yes, that's what I want to check, too -- double swipes and charges. More specifically, charges made when I buy plane tickets online. Errors on airline websites are common.

How do you check, by the way? Is calling the hotline the only way?

^With Citibank you get a text alert/message as soon as your card had been debited. The message includes the merchant and amount debited plus a message to contact them in case it wasn't a valid transaction.

Sis Mama Squeak, my citibank kahit na activated ang ganyan na feature doesnt give me a text alert at all.

Only by calling their hotline, lalo na if its not yet posted. Kumbaga floating pa yun so only them can see it yet.

^^Did you manually activate the feature via their website? I didn't use to get the alerts but after manually activating it by inputting my cell number I get the alerts na. Galing nga kasi anywhere I'm at I get alerts just seconds after my card/s get charged. Magastos lang because I have to be on roaming (when outside of the country) to get the alerts. But better this way at least kampante ako.
