We are eyeing Hotel 45 kasi cheaper sya, with basic amenities. Di naman kami mag-linger sa hotel kasi plan namin talaga maglibot sa Baguio

eto din hinahanap ko. yung may decent internet connection sana. madami ako nakikita sa sulit, puro transient house, pero di ko sure kung ok ba yung wifi nila. baka may alam kayo mga sis.

^meron akong na-search, baguio apartments, sa FB page.  marami silang in-offer na accommodation/houses/condo/apartment na for rent either short or longer stay.  i mentioned this in my blog as well pero ang na-inquire ko sa kanila before is a house for rent for 3 nights.

For nightlife, I suggest you guys check Pizza Volante in Wright Park. The place is just so romantic. Okay hindi naman super romantic kasi I went there with friends, pero the cool breeze, nice acoustic music (the duo were really good, malamig sa tenga), outdoor, garden type cafe. This is really a great place.

For pubs, you can check Red Llion. It has darts, billiards, and the crowd is a mixture of expats and locals. This is not the college type of bar na maingay.

I love the weather in Baguio right now. Tama lang yung lamig, though pag late at night eh malamig talaga.

I want to go to Baguio this April sana with my family. Is it nicer ba in Manor or Le Monet? It will be me, hubby, 3 kids (7yo, 4yo, 6mos) and our yaya. I super want sana Le Monet kaya lang wala palang option for extra person, so pano si yaya? hehe! Ayoko naman katabi siya ng kids sa bed :p

Tips for buying pasalubong:
Good Sheperd - limited to 2 bottles of ube per person. Blockbuster pa rin ang pila so come very early. they open at 8am til 5pm. We arrived before 8am ng monday morning may pila na. Di na ganun ka smooth yung ube jam but still masarap. 

May limit na pagbili ng ube jam? Last January I bought 10 bottles of ube.

^pag madami lang nakapila sis. dati kase we went there mga january yun and nilalagay palang sa mga jars and they gave out numbers and tig 2 lang ang mabibili per person, kaya ang ginawa namin pati mga maids at driver pinapila namin. 2 families kami nun, 3 maids + 2 drivers. i was with my mom & sis, then yung aunt ko kasama niya anak niya and 2 apos plus friend ng aunt ko, 13 kami lahat and 26 jars lang nabili namin. pumila pa ulit yung driver and maids.

pero pag hindi madami ang tao, kahit gaano kadami pwede, kase yung sumunod na year april naman kami nagpunta, wala man nakapila....

Which one of the following ang pinaka-ok?
- The Manor
- Forest Lodge
- Baguio Country Club

I'll probably be in Baguio by the end of this month for my mom's birthday. We've stayed at Azalea and Le Monet and both are ok naman but we'd like to try something new.

Any idea how I can buy Baguio Country Club pastries? Can't enter the premises pag di ka raw member. The ones dun sa stall ng SM Baguio parang hindi fresh. TIA

^ Been reading reviews and The Manor daw talaga but it's always fully booked. I will be there din first week of April and I'm choosing between Forest Lodge and Le Monet. I'm leaning towards Forest Lodge kasi we'll be with the yaya so 3 adults kami and 3 kids (6mos, 4yo, 7yo). Baka super sikip namin sa Le Monet.

Since you stayed there before, do you think puwede na hubby & me and 1 bed then my 2 kids and the yaya in the other bed? May dala naman kaming foldable Graco crib kasi for my baby. I really want the breakfast there kasi. Hahaha!

We prefer staying at newer hotels kasi. Baka not nice na ang restroom sa Manor or BCC. Let's see.

Our room at Le Monet can fit 4 adults pero baka medyo masikip. The CR is relatively small also. Perhaps you could get a 1-2 bedroom para more space and may couch. You'll have more place to put your luggage din. Staying at Le Monet was super sulit for us. Bait ng staff. Highly recommended! They turned on the heated pool for me and my mom kasi we wanted to swim early. Someone from the front desk gave us a tour of the hotel kasi we said we wanted to see the other rooms. Breakfast is also good. In Azalea, not that personalized.

^ Based on reviews I read, Manor naman daw is well maintained. But since they are always fully booked, if there's something in the room you end up not liking, I doubt if they can make you transfer. So medyo iffy.

I wanted to book the bigger suites in Le Monet but lagi din fully booked. They said kasi 4 rooms lang yon. Kakainis. I'm toying with the idea of staying 2 nights at Forest Lodge and 2 nights at Le Monet. Or Hahaha! Ipagpilitan ba magkasya? :p
