I am loving Baguio more and moooore! as in ayaw ko na umalis kagabi. Gusto ko nalang sa Baguio! hahaha.

BTW, super naadik kami ni bf sa pizza ng PIZZA VOLANTE! must try ang mga pizza nila!

My hubby, 4 yr old daughter, and I were in Baguio during the weekend. Sobrang lamig, feeling ko nasa Los Angeles ako lalo na pag gabi hahaha. Stayed at Holiday Park Hotel...the place was okay, friendly ang staff, though they don't have early check in. Traffic going to strawberry field was so heavy. Mas matagal pa ata yung traffic kesa sa actual visit namin. All in all enjoy naman. Tried the Cafe Volante and 50's Diner. Sarap sa Cafe Volante di lang ako maka-concentrate sa pagkain dahil sa sobrang lamig, that's despite of drinking two cups of coffee already. The ukay-ukay at Skyworld is great. Got a GAP jacket and ESPRIT jacket for 180 each, yun na ang pinaka-happy part ko dun hahaha.

Fyi nagmahal na ngayon sa deluxe bus ng victory liner. Last week lang 715 pa papuntang baguio, ngayon 750 na.  I should have bought our tickets last week pa had i known magtataas sila.

dalhin mo na lahat ng pangginaw mo if lamigin ka kasi ako lamigin din, pagbaba naming ng bus, mas malamig pa sa labas compare sa aircon bus..

We went there last Jan4-6
First time ko. it's was a good experience for me. Reviews lang sa mga na-try ko:

C Boutique Hotel - Okay ang location, malayo sa Session Road pero kung masipag kayo maglakad tulad namin, malapit na sya sa Mines View, Ketchup Food Community.. My acoustic every sat night kasi un dine-in nila dun na rin yun bar.  I'll go back here if ever, pero maganda na rin na magtry ng ibang hotel. We got deluxe with loft = P5900/night with breakfast for 4pax (2 double bed + 1 single bed)

Canto - The best ang lomo ribs (half slab) for only P190.

Vizno's / Ocha (resto in session road) - Same company lang ata ito magkaiba lang ng food na sinseserve. We love the Seafood pasta at Vizno's but the Mergheritta Pizza isn't that good. Though I like the chewy crust.

Cafe by the Ruins - The duck soup is just so-so as well as their bread. Sorry but I think I expected too much plus the price parang there's a better place pa. Kanya2 naman siguro tayo pang-lasa hehe. My isa pang negative, yun pandesal na order namin nilalanggam 

As a first timer, I wanna go back to baguio pero less-trip na. If ever I'll go back here, more of staying at the hotel then just go out and food trip na lang. Too many restos to try out but our 3 days isn't enough. I was overwhelmed at Session Road, talagang ganon kadami ang tao, restaurant at kung ano-ano pa, nakakatuwa.

Finally napuntahan ko na rin ang Baguio.. I was there last weekend with the family.. super lamig grabe at yun ang naenjoy ko ng husto sa trip namin.. Pagod lang kasi ang nangyari samin kasi  saturday dumating kami Baguio then sunday uwi na rin.. kaya limited din ang mga napuntahan..

3am umalis kami ng house, we reached manaog in pangasinan around 7am, after ng mass back on the road na kami for baguio, sa sasakyan na kami nag breakfast since may mga baon naman kaming food..

we reached baguio via kennon road around 11am tapos hinanap na agad namin yung transient  na pag stayan namin sa may siapno road.. 11:30 nasa transient na kami and nag lunch na muna kami..rest na rin for awhile para makapag recharge yung driver namin..

2pm na when we started na mamasyal, una na ang wright park kung saan naka witness kami ng babaeng nahulog dun sa stairs na mataas dun, grabe shocked at natakot kami, ok naman yung girl nakabangon naman, di nya siguro napansin yung step kasi nagtetext sya..

then the mansion na dinaanan lang namin, tpos minesview park kami, ang daming tao, lahat na yata ng lahi nakita ko dun hehe..dun na rin namili ng walis tambo..

next stop yung good shepherd na to my surprise eh pinipilahan pala talaga dahil masarap nga raw ang pasalubong dun.. we bought a lot of peanut brittle pang pasalubong..

last stop for the day ang botanical garden..may mga matatanda sa harap nun na naka costume ng parang igorot na pag nagpapicture ka kasama sila you'll pay ten pesos each.. after ng garden back to our transient na.. ate dinner then rest na.. ako nag stay muna dun sa terrace ng house para ienjoy ang lamig..mga 2 hours din siguro..grabe sa lamig para kang nasa freezer hehe..

The next day, sunday,  7:30am nasa kalsada na kami going to strawberry farm, maaga kami kasi traffic daw dun.. nagenjoy kami mamili dun ng veggies and strawberries, jam and wine na rn.. dun ko din tinikman ang strawberry taho na super sarap pala, nabitin nga me..hehe..

our last na pinuntahan ay yung lourdes grotto, mataas pero kinaya namin akyatin..yung burnham dinaanan.. then mga 12nn, pabalik na kami ng manila..

Yun kaya pagod lang kami.. sa susunod na balik ko sa baguio yung lamig nalang dadayuhin ko hehe..di ko na feel na ikutin pa ang ibang lugar..

Yun ang pagod but worth it na trip namin..  nakakamiss ang lamig dun :-)

We just got back from Baguio. And it was so freezing cold! Tagos hanggang buto ang lamig lalo na sa umaga at gabi. 3pm pa lang start na ang freezing temperature. Since second time na namin dito ni hubby limited lang yung place na pinuntahan namin at para ma-enjoy ng 3-year old daughter namin yung weather.

Day 1. We arrived at Baguio at 4pm via Victory Liner Deluxe. Sobrang traffic lang sa Pangasinan kaya napahaba ang byahe. We bought ticket right after the arrival pabalik ng Manila para hindi na hassle pauwi. Check-in at Hotel 45 Extension. This hotel has a great location. Walking distance lang sa Burnham Park and SM. At 4:30pm, pasyal lang and boating sa Burnham Park. Sobrang happy si baby sa boat ride habang kumakanta ng row, row, row your boat.  Then we had dinner at O Mai Khan. Okay ang food dito. After dinner, nilakad lang namin to our hotel. Malayo-layong lakarin pero no sweat at all. 

Day 2. Pahirapang gumising at maligo.  We had free breakfast at the hotel. At 9:30am start na ng gala namin. We went to The Mansion, Wright Park and Mines View Park. Syempre tinikman namin ang famous strawberry taho and surprisingly masarap sya. Hindi kasi ako mahilig sa strawberry. We had lunch at Ketchup Community across Wright Park. We ordered at Canto and the food were all great. Sabi ni hubby sa lahat ng kinainan namin dito ang pinakamasarap. Make sure lang to come at 11:30am and wait. Kasi pagdating ng 12nn haba na ng pila. After lunch we went at BenCab Museum. Malayo sya pero its worth it lalo na kung mahilig kayo sa art. Then bumalik kami sa Good Shepherd kasi nakalimutan namin bumili ng pasalubong.  Balik kami session road and dinaanan lang namin sandali yung Baguio Cathedral at lakad ulit pabalik ng hotel. At 5:30, lakad kami papunta 50s Diner for dinner. As usual, agahan nyo din dito kasi pagdating ng 6pm haba na ng pila sa labas.

Day 3: Free breakfast sa hotel. At 9am, pumunta kami ng Camp John Hay. Pasyal lang sa Historical Core, Bell House and we had early lunch at Chocolate de Batirol. Okay ang ambiance and food dito.

Over all, we enjoyed our short vacation at Baguio lalo na ang weather. Sarap balik balikan.

hubby and i will be in baguio next week for our anniversary. wala pa kami nakuhang hotel kase fully booked na daw ang hotel45 and la brea inn and wala na rin ako makita na budget hotel along session road.  hopefully, may makuha kaming maayos when we get there. holiday kase ang jan. 31 kaya feeling ko marami na ang nagpa-book. excited na ako kahit wala pa kami tutuluyan! haha

Anyone who recently stayed in City Center hotel? May early check-in ba sila? We'll arrive early on feb. 1 around 4am. If not, do you know any hotel/inn na may wash up room?

Just got back from a 3-day 2-night trip from baguio, me, hubby and our 2 kids ages 6 & 4.  We took the genesis joy bus, left at 12mn at cubao terminal and arrived at 5am in baguio.  Mas malamig pagbaba namin sa bus.  Share ko lang yung iti and expenses namin:
Day 1:
5am arrival; breakfast @ pizza volante (should've ordered pizza instead of their breakfast meals) not worth it yung price. 
630am: stayed for a while at the lobby of bloomfield hotel.  I got to praise this hotel kasi very accomodating and friendly ng staff.  No charge ang early check in as long as walang nakabook sa room nyo.  We got the superior deluxe twin room priced at 2250 but we opted to not use the aircon kaya 2050 na lang per night. Very spacious ang room with free breakfast din.
730am:  our lady of lourdes grotto; tam-awan village (50 entrance for adults/20 for kids)
Arko ni apo art gallery
Ben Cab museum (100 entrance fee for adult/80 for kids)
12nn: lunch at Good taste, burnham park (reasonably priced with big servings)
Walkathon pabalik ng hotel to check in at 130pm.  We bought desserts at visco's.  Must try yung strawberry shortcake and mango cake nila.
4pm: boating at burnham park (150/half hour); watched the dancing fountain.
Lakad papuntang SM; then dinner at Dencio's.

Day 2
8am: free breakfast at the hotel then off to Laperal white house (50 entrance fee as they have an ongoing bamboo exhibit).  We were the first to arrive kaya we have the whole house to explore by ourselves.
Camp john hay (chocolate de batirol, mile hi center)
The mansion
Wright park (200/half hour for horseback riding)
1pm: lunch at Happy tummy (ketchup food community).  Try sana namin umorder sa canto ng ribs pero blockbuster ang pila.
230pm: mines view park and Good shepherd
330pm: balik sa CJH starbucks then back to hotel.
Rest saglit then ako na lang mag-isa pumunta sa baguio central market to buy additional pasalubong.
8pm: dinner at sm foodcourt then we went to harrison road for the night market.  I was able to score an old navy rainbow fleece jacket for my little girl for 60 pesos and a bubble jacket for my boy at 150 pesos. Gusto ko pa sana mag ikot but my kids were tired and sleepy na.

Day 3
9am breakfast at hotel then headed to strawberry farm.  Strawberry picking price varies from 300-400 per kilo. Nagpapicture lang kami then we just bought the ready picked strawberries at 150 per kilo.  We also tasted the strawberry taho and my daughter loved it!
Back at the hotel, rest lang sandali then checked out at 12noon then stroll at sm baguio where we left our luggages muna, then lunch at max's.  We also bought the famous raisin bread of baguio country club at villa cordillera.  If you're not a member/guest at BCC, hindi ka makapasok. Good thing meron naman pala sa sm.
3pm: travel back to manila via joy bus.  Arrived at cubao terminal at 8pm.

Tiring but memorable especially for my kids.  They really enjoyed the horseback ride and the weather.  Taxi lang kami all throughout our stay.  I think this baguio trip will be one of our yearly getaways!  Hope this helps!  Sorry at napahaba ang sharing. ;-)

Planning to go to Baguio at Feb. 21-23 for Panagbenga festival.. Okay ba sa Chalet Baguio? May nahanap kasi ako na 2.5k per person for 3 days and 2 nights.

Saang bus company ba ako pwede magpa reserve ng ticket? And magkano kaya magagastos ko or dapat kong i-ready for budget?

Hi, everyone. We are planning to go to Baguio next month. We only have the weekend (one and a half days) to tour around Baguio. It's just a break from the city. Can you please help me out with my itinerary? It's our first time in Baguio

We plan to leave Manila at around 12mn, Friday, so we will arrive in Baguio at around 5am to 6am, Saturday. Which one should we do first, breakfast (Volante because it's open 24H or anywhere) or visit Mines View Park, para wala pa masyadong tao. We plan to just tour and eat around all day and the day (half) after that, and of course checking in/out at the hotel/transient.
