@gulaysk medyo bihira ngayon ang nagtitinda ng strawberry taho in the city. I saw a lot of taho vendors near my hotel, Burnham park and the palengke but most of them have regular taho lang. I asked the vendor why and he told me medyo mahal kasi ang strawberries these days. But if you're going to the strawberry farm for sure meron dun. But the regular taho is yummy din so I don't mind!

I was in Baguio last weekend. Weather was okay, slight drizzle and kind of warm in the afternoon but still relatively cooler than Manila weather. We stayed at Azalea Residences. Tip lang - choose the room far from the exhaust vent. We were assigned a room near the vent so medyo maingay siya, kind of like an aircon yung sound. We ate at 50's Diner a lot because it's near our hotel. Also tried Pizza Volante and Oh my Gulay! along session road. Pinaka worth if for me yung 50's Diner but make sure you go early kasi laging waiting especially if it's weekend.

I got a bit shocked with ukay/thrift shopping. Parang hindi na siya as cheap as before. They know na how to sort out branded clothes eh, tapos jack up nila yung price if it's branded. Can anyone recommend other ukay places besides Session cor. Calderon, Bayanihan, Harrison Night Market and Hilltop? Baka meron pang secret places na hindi ko alam hehe. My friends used to go to this Ukay place na old moviehouse converted to an ukay shop. Sobrang laki niya. Pero hindi ko na maalala where it is.

For those who are taking the bus, take the Deluxe/First Class bus of Victory. For me, worth it yung extra cost. Very comfortable kasi. On a regular bus, hindi ako nakak tulog but when we tried first class, I fell asleep kaagad and woke up in Baguio na. It's very comfortable.

sis, hm ba ang first class trip? i was in Baguio din last weekend and we saw yung bus ng first class. mas malaki lang ba yung upuan and may cr? idk what's the difference eh.

Regular bus Manila to Baguio is P445. Deluxe is P715
Konti lang first class trips, hindi hourly. So make sure you reserve in advance.

- bigger seats, only 29 passengers per bus
- may bus attendant who can attend to your needs inside the bus
- restroom inside the bus so no need for stopovers for wiwi break
- faster travel time since no stopovers
- may free water and snacks
- seats are more comfortable, parang lazyboy

Some people naman don't think it's worth kasi parang same lang. Nice din naman nga regular buses ng Victory. But for me deluxe na ako all the way! HTH

^Tempting nga magdeluxe pero magregular bus nalang muna kami for this Baguio trip para makatipid.

Medyo ot but still on deluxe buses, we've tried the one from Partas going to Vigan. Comfy talaga ang seats. My only problem is that their AC is just super duper cold.

But we'll definitely try Victory Liner's deluxe bus in our future trips to Baguio. By the way, may nakasubok na bang sumakay sa Genesis going to Baguio? Kamusta ang buses nila compared sa Victory Liner's? May difference ba sa fare?

Galing Tam-awan pwede nang dumiretso sa Bencab museum na malapit lang din, tama ba? May dumadaan bang jeep from Tam-awan papuntang Bencab?

Ay hindi namin tinry yung deluxe kasi akala ko ang pagkakaiba lang e may restroom sya at walang stopovers. Naisip ko kasi baka madumi din ang cr so okay na lang din magstopovers kung ganon.. Di ko alam lazyboi pala ang upuan?? Wahaha! Maybe next time!

Nag ukay din kami pero yung nagustuhan kong coat 200! Wahahha! At dahil kuripot ako hindi ko pinatulan.. Gusto ko 100 lang eh.. 180 na ang last price nila.. Lol..

me too, pupunta rin kami ng baguio sa Aug. 24-26.. Kaya sana maging okay ang weather dun sa dates ng punta namin..

Ask ko lang, malamig ba sobra dun? Keri ba mamasyal ng naka-shorts? Mas comfortable kasi me sa shorts.. Thanks!

Sis, maraming tourists sa baguio ang naka-shorts. Tapos naka-jacket na lang.

Though pag maulan and padilim na sobrang ginaw. To be safe magchange ka na lang to pants pag hapon na. Depende pa rin sa weather.

^GO sis, if di rin naman umuulan, oks lang magshort. Madami din naman ang nakaganun sa Baguio pero sa napapansin ko, usually mga turista yun. Haha.

BTW, tumira din kasi ako sa Baguio for 4 years and mejo naiirita lang kami sa mga nakashort while BUMABAGYO! Ang dami kasing ganun sa school. Haha. Pero pag usual day lang, kahit malamig wala namang prob sa nakashort as long as kaya mo yung lamig. This month (if di mahangin at di umuulan), kaya mo naman siguro yun. Aug2-4 nasa Baguio ako and okay naman ang lamig. Usually, Dec-Feb lang din naman ang super lamig for me. Enjoy your trip!

super agree sa mga naka shorts na maikli talaga pag malamig and umuulan.. pag umuulan siguro carry lang
na naka shorts para di mabigat yung pants pag nabasa. pero pag sobrang ikli--ay naku te, pag tatawanan ka ng mga taga baguio talaga..
 tas knowing na yung iba, pag na indito sa manila, kahit katirikan ng araw naka boots at jacket pa na makapal..

haha..oo nga naman parang di nga maganda pag ang suot ay super ikli as in yung what they call p*kp*k shorts.. Ako naman i plan to wear lang yung shorts na 1inch above the knee or yung knee pants..mga ganon lang tapos naka top sider shoes for long walks.. Sana nga wag umulan or magkabagyo next weekend para hindi hassle mamasyal..

sis u8mypinkcookies, pareho tayong pupunta ng baguio this coming weekend, kaya ako rin nagmo-monitor ng weather dun.. sa check ko kanina 18 degrees with rain showers sa hapon, i'm not sure lang kung ganon pa rin..  Kapag this week patuloy pa rin ang rain, mag-aalay na ko ng egg kay santa clara..haha..
