question lang po ulit.. may parang octopus card or ezlink card ba sa malaysia? or parang MRT nten dito yung train nila na pwede ka bumili ng single journey ticket?

also, kaya ba to puntahan sa timeframe namin? 4AM arrival, 6PM departure

sisses, pa-comment naman sa iti. mag-isa lang kasi ako and it'll be my first time in KL. i'll be there on the 22nd for a 13-hour layover. dating ko sa LCCT is around 5:30 pm (granting no delay in flight). here's my plan:

June 22 ETA 5:30 p.m.

• at LCCT, papalit ng AUD to MYR then bring luggage to luggage deposit
• take bus to KLIA
• take express train from KLIA to KL Sentral
• check-in at Joy Inn Hotel (nakabayad na ko, i liked the hotel kasi walking distance lang from KL Sentral)
• take monorail to Petronas
• ikot-ikot
• take monorail back to KL Sentral (back to hotel)

June 23

• check-out hotel around 4 a.m.
• take train to KLIA
• take bus to LCCT
• fly to Manila! ETD 6:50 a.m.

any comments on my iti? feasible ba? at ano pang pwede kong puntahan malapit sa petronas? ayoko na sana masyado lumayo kasi i want to give myself time din to rest.

also, madali kaya magpapalit ng Australian dollar to ringgit sa airport?

^^ sis joan i already answered it in this thread, but yes they do have, it's the rapid KL ticket.  pwede ka rin bumili ng tiket from the machines.

batu caves is ibang way, near genting na siya, you can go there by taking the Batu caves KTM train in KL sentral.

Merdeka square can be accessed via Star LRT or Putra LRT in Masjid Jamek Station.

The others, are linked via the walkway from KLCC to Pavilion Mall.  Ang Petronas nasa KLCC, ang KL Tower sa raja chulan stop sa walkway.  Bukit Bintang is paglabas ng Pavilion Mall.

^^ sis igenna, ok na yan.  pero yong travel mo from LCCT to KLIA kasi pwede pa tong 2:

1) take the bus to KL sentral
2) take the shuttle to KLIA-Salak Tinggi station to take the KLIA train then baba ka na ng KL sentral.

^sis phurple0515, thanks! ah yes, pwede nga sa salak tinggi station na lang. re bus, mas mabagal kasi yun e kaya i opted for train 

any advice on my early morning commute? kasi balak ko 4 a.m. umalis ng hotel, probably i'll be at LCCT at 5 a.m., enough time pa to check-in sa airport. like ok ba mag-train at that time in terms of safety? or better mag-taxi na lang ako?

any other places i can visit near petronas?

^KLIA is safe sis.  Though im not sure kung meron ng ganyan na oras.  Taxi from 12mn to 6am have an additional 50% surcharge.

dati ginagawa namin, taxi to KL sentral then bus kami.  ganyan din na oras flight to manila.   ngayon taxi na lang.  di nagkukuripot, hehe, tska less hassle.

Hi Girls,

Pls help naman.. will be going to Malaysia on July 12-15. And im planning the hotel and itinerary...

Day 0 - July 12 - Arrive at 12.35am - take nalang ng taxi kasi closed na yung bus lines.
Question: We want to stay in the Bukit Bintang Area - Pls reco a good hotel (may 5 yr old ako so sana yung convenient sana.. paglabas, malapit na sa train station, shopping center and food)

Day 1 - July 13 - Take the Hop on Hop off Bus (dahil may bata, baka kasi mahirap kung mag train kami kaya ito na yung naisip namin)

Day 2 - July 14 - Genting sana then i heard this Colmar place
Question: can we do both in one day? Can you suggest kung paano?

Day 3 - July 15 - Wala pa. - we need to leave by 2pm kasi 630 yung flight namin. (tama ba?)
Question: What can we do in half day morning?

We are open to any corrections, suggestions, alterations to our itinerary.

if medyo cheap, try mo Hotel Summer View or Hotel Sentral.
if peg mo medyo nicer pero a bit farther if lalakarin, Best Western Premier Dua Sentral.
if may budget and you wanted really near kl sentral: Hilton or Le Meridien.

pacomment po sa itinerary mo. 

day 0: at your arrival time, there will still be buses available that you can take going to KL sentral. RM8 lang yan. relatively cheaper than taking the taxi as the airport is far from the city. you can buy the tickets near the arrival/exit area.
pagdating mo ng kl sentral, then you can take the taxi (maraming nakaabang dun). by this time madaling araw na so they will charge additional 50% from the metered fare, or mangongontrata. bukit bintang is relatively near from there so wag ka papayag na more than rm20 ang charge sayo.
recommended hotel: search mo sis, Istana hotel, ParkRoyal hotel. or try mo lang rin magsearch, madaming hotel na lalabas.

day 1: good idea ito sis. you can check the website of hop-on hop-off so you can see saan mas convenient bumili ng ticket. rm38 isa for adult, not sure lang for kids. there will be stops na may bayad (like Bird Park). nicer if you could start early para marami kayong mapuntahan and masulit niyo ang ticket. i would also suggest that you review the route map so you'll know which places to go down to or which places you would skip.

day 2: i think you can do in one day. better if mag rent kayo ng taxi who can tour you to both places (i think the hotel would be able to help you out to look for a taxi), and if you have additional time, Batu Caves is another place to visit. Ingat lang sa unggoy.

day 3: if nabitin kayo sa pasalubong shopping you can try to go back to Central Market, or libot lang sa KLCC park or Pavilion mall. or pwede rin umakyat sa KL tower if you like.

I usually suggest Sky Hotel in Bukit bintang.  You can try to backread what they have commented about the hotel.  Napasok ko na rin yan when my relatives came over here.

Genting and Colmare are 2 highland places.  Mapapagod kayo to travel from one place to another.  sayang sa time, sayang din kasi madalian lahat if you want to go to both places in one day.  Unang madadaanan ang Genting, then far ahead is Colmare.  Tipong 1st mountain ang Genting, then 4th mountain ang Colmare, hehe

When my MIL came to visit us, we were able to rent the cab RM90 sa KL sentral tapos he brought us sa National Palace, Batu caves, Onyx Factory, Chocolate Factory sa may Awana station malapit sa cable car station then sa bumili na lang kami ng tickets to cable car ride.  Ok na rin kasi 4 naman kami tapos madami pa kaming napuntahan.  baka ganon na rin gawin ko pag bisita ng parents ko sa akin dito.

There is a walkway na from KLCC (area ng Petronas Tower) to Pavilion Mall, which is labasan ng Bukit Bintang.  Tapos madami ng shopping lots don.  para kasi Bukit Bintang ang Orchard Rd dito sa KL.  so enjoy shopping.  that time naman is MidYear Sale e

sa mga nakapunta na po ng French Village, im torn between the schedule of Departure from Colmar Tropicale to KL, kung ano kukunin na sked, if 3pm o 630 pm, ok na kaya ang mga 3 hours sa french village o kulang pa? thanks

Bus from Airport - Noted on this but i just noticed our E-ticket. Nakalagay Low Cost Carrier Terminal (so this is LCCT pala not KLIA).

Hop on Hop Off - Yung HOHO, i can visit naman the stops in no particular order diba, like, unahin ko muna yung malalayo para pabalik ng hotel yung last stop namin diba?

Genting and Colmar - super layo ba nito? i found kasi a site that offers a tour for this also. either that or we do it ourselves. (ps. di type ng barkada ko yung batu caves, takot sa kalapati. hehe)

Last Day - noted on the walkway and the shopping reco.

Hotel nalang talaga problem. Sa sobrang dami ko nakikita, nakakaloka pumili. 
Are you familiar with Hotel Ambassador, Agora Hotel, Seasons View and Bintang Warisan? Alin dito ang pinaka okay.
