Hi sis phurple0515. HELP! 

Ako kasi gumagawa ng itinerary ng trip namin to MY & SG. Masakit na ulo ko kaka-search sa Internet kung ano gagawin.

Manggagaling kami from Clark via Air Asia on March 29, 11:05 a.m. ang flight to MY. So ang dating namin sa MY is mga 3 p.m. na. Naka-book kami sa Matahari Lodge.

Question #1: Nagpapalit ba sa airport ng Peso to Ringgit? or kailangan bang US$ to Ringgit?

Question #2: Paano kami magco-commute from the airport to Matahari Lodge?

May early flight kami to SG on March 30. Hanggang March 31 ng gabi kami doon. Ang plan sana namin is mag train from SG pabalik ng MY.

Question #3: Nabasa ko somewhere sa Internet na mas mura daw pag mag book from MY instead of sa SG. Paano ko kaya pwedeng gawin ito? Yung sleeper sana ang kukunin namin.

Question #4: Mga 7p.m. pa flight namin from MY to PH on April 1. Ano kaya mga pwede namin gawin or puntahan for 1 day sa MY?

Pasensya na sa haba, need your help badly talaga. Nai-stress na ako sa pagpaplano habang sitting pretty yung mga kasama ko.

^ Hi sis, here's my answers to your questions:

1) Yes, they do change peso to ringgit, pero pag sa airport kasi mababa ang palitan so I will advise you to either magpapalit na dyan sa Pinas or ang ipapalit niyo lang sa airport is yong gagastusin niyo to your hotel.

2) I'm not particularly sure where is Matahari, eto ba yong sa Chinatown?  If yes, you have options:
  - Option 1: take the cab from airport to the lodge
  - Option 2: from airport, take the bus to KL sentral, from KL sentral, either take the cab from KL sentral to the lodge or take the LRT baba ka na ng Pasar Seni, then lakarin niyo na lang.

3) Magpabook ng alin sis?  Like sa bus, if dito ka bibili, of course you will be charged in ringgit, rather than in SGD so mas mababa nga siya.

4) I would say just go around Bukit Bintang area.  Pwedeng from your hotel, take the train to KLCC, where Petronas is, then lakarin niyo na lang to Bukit bintang (thru the walkway).  Marami na kayo magagawa non from KLCC to Bukit Bintang.  Then pag babalik na kayo ng hotel, you can take the monorail from Bukit Bintang to KL sentral, then from KL sentrla take the train to Pasar Seni.  if your flight is at 7pm, then you need to be at the airport at least by 5pm, so you might want to leave your hotel ng 3pm.

Ay sorry, about sa Question #3. Paano mag book ng sleeper train (SG to MY)? Hindi ko kasi masyado maintindihan yung sa website ng KTM. Nakakalito. Nabasa ko sa Internet na parang ang ibu-book muna is from JB Sentral to Woodlands, then Woodlands to KL Sentral. Tama ba?

Sa Question #4: From SG  to MY via train, hindi na kami maghohotel pagdating ng MY so ikot ikot na lang with luggage.

ok ba impiana hotel? nakita ko lang sa agoda e... malapit ata sa petronas ito. i was reading tripadvisor reviews, mixed sya ng satisfied and annoyed customers e  hmmm...

^^ a, ktm pala.  di ko alam sis kasi minsan late din daw yong train na yon sabi ng mga officemates ko.  and minsan din weeks before sila magpabook.  try to check their website.

^ impiana looks good from the outside sis.  nadadaanan lang siya to Petronas.   i believe it's a 3star or 4 star hotel.  and yes, malapit nga lang siya sa Petronas.

sis phurple0515, nakapag book na ako online from JB Sentral to Sentral KL. problem ko na lang yung from SG to JB Senral. hehe. thanks ulit ha.

^sis, hindi na ako nag book ng return tickets kasi dyan sa MY kami manggagaling pabalik dito sa PH. April 1 ng gabi flight namin through Air Asia.

^ a, ok, hehe...kasi sabi mo nakapagpabook ka na ng JB to KL sentral.  dapat nag-bus na lang kayo sis, mas maayos pa ata, hehe at mabilis kesa train.  Pag train, pwede naman from KL sentral diretso na ng Woodlands e then from Woodlands take the train to Tanjong Pagar tapos from there konting lakad na lang to MRT station.  di ko lang sure kung pano yong sa Johor Sentral.  Bus na lang kayo from SG to Johor then train na?  Sorry, dapat pala sa Malaysia-SG thread ko pinost, hehhehe.  anyway, you can check out that thread for more info on the intercity links

Sa Question #4: From SG  to MY via train, hindi na kami maghohotel pagdating ng MY so ikot ikot na lang with luggage.

You can leave your things sa locker area ng KL Sentral, they charge 5RM for the smallest locker na can fit 2-3 small-average size backpacks. Meron mas malalaki locker costing 10-20RM.

ah talaga, pwede pala mag iwan ng gamit doon. PH-KL-SG-KL-PH ang trip namin kaya ganun. at gusto ng mom ko na makapag sight seeing daw habang bumibyahe from JB Sentral to KL Sentral kaya sa train kami nag book, so hindi na rin sleeper coach ang kinuha ko. thanks sis!

^ yes sis. Twice ko nang ginagawa yun. I also did CRK-KL-SG-KL-CRK route just 3weeks ago together with my mom. Difference lang siguro natin is we went to Melaka then dun na kami nanggaling papunta SG (Melaka - JB - SG) then pabalik KL naman, we flew thru Jetstar. Have fun!

help naman po mga sis. I'm considering yung pag travel by sleeper train from KL to Singapore since 7pm yata ang dating namin sa KL sa first day, this way makakatipid kami  ng 1 night hotel accommodation then kung morning dating namin sa SG, pwedeng isang buong araw na tour na sa Universal Studios then sleeper train uli pabalik ng KL, so 2 gabi na free accommodation na yun, hehe. tapos spend na sa KL yung iba pa. ok bang idea yun? and how do i book ng sleeper trains at how much po yung fare? mas makakatipid ba sa ganito?

^^ thanks sis dette888..helpful sya kaso nalilito ako hahaha! San ba yung KL sentral vs. Kuala Lumpur lang? kung galing kami sa airport ng MY ano mas malapit na station? yung sentral or yung KL? Yung sa JB medyo familiar ako kahit pano kasi nakarating na ko dati 5 years ago from Woodlands to JB, althou matagal na yun baka madami nang nagbago, hehe..

sis tammy1979, your welcome. nalito din ako nung una. hehe. i think KL sentral is parang yung downtown area mismo. so nung nag book ako sa KTM for march 31 eh JB Sentral to Sentral KL. sa ibang questions mo, sorry hindi ko din alam kasi first time kong bibyahe sa KL. hehe.

KL sentral is Kuala Lumpur Sentral station.  don kasi ang hub ng mga train station dito sa KL.

kung galing kayo sa airport dito sa KL, wala pong malapit na train station but you can go to KL Sentral via bus kasi lahat don ang drop off point from LCCT.  pwede rin mag-KLIA train kaya lang maraming lipat if you are coming from LCCT unlike pag galing ka ng KLIA.  sa pagkakaalam ko, yong KL ata yong lumang train station naman.  I would say go for KL sentral na lang sis para di ka malito.

Ayun! thanks uli mga sis. So from LCCT, anong byahe ng bus ang sasakyan namin at gano kaya katagal ang travel time? At saka may mapapasyalan na ba if nasa KL sentral kami? Ang kukunin kasi namin is yung overnight sleeper train so mga 11pm pa yata ang alis, dadatinng kami ng LCCT mga 6pm, so may mga 2 hourspa kami maglibot.

^ from LCCT, take those bus going to KL sentral, like the Skybus of AirAsia.  Travel time is about 1 hr. (more or less depende sa traffic).  Sa KL sentral, wala masyado sis, it's just the central hub of all train system here in KL.
