^^ no need for taxi to Salak Tinggi sis.  From LCCT, you can buy tickets na (inclusive of shuttle bus to ST and the train from ST to KL sentral.

feeling ko matraffic pa rin that time sis.  kasi susually ganong oras madaming tao until uwian na for the F1 race.

^ sis, you are referring to the Sky Hotel di ba? kasi merong link yong 'here' sa post mo e, hehehhe...

you can actually walk from Petronas to Sky hotel even in the evening kasi as I have said, merong walkway with a/c and guards in every post from petronas to Pavilion.  then from pavilion, since madaming tao don and madaming shopping malls, pwede mo na rin lakarin from there to Sky hotel.  I wont really advise you to take the cab within KL city kasi most of them city drivers are the worst, kokontratahin kayo ng sobra.  besides, traffic within are very bad, esp. from KLCC to Bukit Bintang.

^ True! Umuulan nung punta namin so nag-cab kami from Sky Hotel. Yung sa pinsan ko kinontrata siya 20RM, kami naman wala pero ang pagdating namin sa Petronas 30RM sa meter! Ewan ko kung pinaikot ikot lang kami nung driver. Kaloka

^ papaikutin kayo para umandar ang metro kasi malalakad mo lang naman talaga from Petronas to the Hotel ng di mo namamalayan because of the walkway.

Any food spots na ma-recommend nyo sa KL? Di ko maalala mga kinainan namin before e. hehe, baka may suggestions kayo na must-try (and saan na rin location ). Thanks!

^ usually, Jalan Alor have those hawker style food.  MAdaming choices din.  Alam ko it has actually been posted in previous pages (or thread).

yung mga nakapunta ng malaysia sa inyo, san kayo sa pinas nagpapalit ng ringgit at sgd na rin? reliable ba sa czarina? yung kasama ko kasi dun na raw siya sa SG magpapalit baka raw kasi peke mapalitan dito sa pinas? any feedback po sa czarina forex? eto po kasi madalas kung mabasa dito ssa PEX...thanks

Back from KL-SG trip with my mom!

Good thing weather was great.

1st day - Arrived in the afternoon thru LCCT. Rode Skybus to KL Sentral and monorail (raja chulan) to reach our accommodation. Stayed at RainforestBB for the 2nd time. No regret, love their room super clean and free bfast. Food trip at Jalan Alor. Tasted again the famous chicken wings from Wong Ah Wah restaurant. Super naenjoy siya ni mader. Sarap to the bones talaga. After that, diretso kami sa Pavillion and walked to Petronas Tower thru the walkway. Picture picture with the towers.

2nd day - Check out from Rainforest and made our way to KL Sentral. Rented a small locker for 5RM to leave our bags. Had a quick trip to Batu Caves (request ni mader) then punta naman kami sa Merdeka square before ending in Central Market for quick shopping of pasalubongs. Made our way back to KL Sentral to retrieve our things before heading to TBS. From TBS, book on Transnational for our trip to Melaka. Arrived in Melaka and rode bus #17 to reach the town center.

3rd day - Stayed in Hotel Hong which is only 5mins walk to Jonker Street. Oks naman yun Hotel Hong for its rate of 90RM, room was very clean although no free breakfast super overflowing naman ng tea, juices and coffee + free wifi. Medyo mahina lang yun aircon but bearable naman. Mahalaga we have ensuite cr. We went to Melaka on Saturday so we were able to experience and see Night Market and Entertainment night. The following day we had a quick trip to see Christ Church, Stadhuys, St. Peter Ruins etc. Checked out and travel to Melaka Sentral. Wrong move! I was not able to make advance booking for bus bound to SG so we had no choice but grabbed the earliest trip bound to Johor Bahru and from there we catched bus#170 to Singapore. Mabilis naman yun biyahe, tatagal lang talaga siya during transaction at Immigration for both exit/entrance.

That't it for the KL leg of our trip.

nag panic naman ako dito, affected po ba ako dito if from chinswee going to Batu caves ako punta.
i'll be riding a cable car going back to genting lower station? (tas sakay ng bus papunta KL Sentral)
awana skyway ba yung sasakyan na cable car? o genting skyway pa rin ba? lapit na malaysia side trip namin this sunday na,

^ oo sis, awana nga yong cable car sa Genting.  Pero di pa rin sure kung bukas kasi nga umuulan ngayon dito sa KL pag hapon.

eto na naman ako, searching for info sa mga hotels hehe..ok na ko sa Sky Hotel kaso yung isa kong kasama may nakita na Victory Street Boutique hotel, malapit lang daw sa chocolate factory at mga malls. Sis phurple0515, since mukhang ikaw expert sa location sa Malaysia, baka pwede mo naman i-rate tong hotel na to please hehe. Location and accessibility wise. Mukhang naakit sa chocolate thing ang kasama ko, hehe. Or kung maire-recommend mo ba sya na ok na ring alternative. Thanks..

^^ usually sis, nakikita ko sa mga deals e. pero sa mga shops wala pa naman ako nakikita so far. 

^ sis, di ko siya nadadaanan along the way, but based on the map, mukhang sa looban pa siya kaya di ko siya napapansin   maybe you want to check out the reviews in tripadvisor.  or why not check out Rainforest also like some sisses here who used that one during their stay here.

^^ thanks sis..kung ako lang, walang problema sa hotel kahit ano pa itsura hehe...kaso mahirap pag maraming kasama then choosy pero ayaw magbayad ng mahal, naloloka na ako sa kahahanap.
