^ Nest is in Bukit Bintang area malapit, so either sa Bukit Bintang sa may tapat ng Pavilion kayo or sa may KL Tower kayo.  Pwede rin start kayo sa Petronas na lang.

if you're staying sa The Nest - ang pinakamalitp talaga na HOHO spot is the one in Bukit Bintang, sa likod lang ng H&M. BUT! BUT! - the best way to start your HOHO tour is to go to Petronas muna, kase yung stop sa BB ay stop number 6 na - mas mamaximze mo yung time and spots if you begin sa Petronas sa umaga, so meron ka ng morning shots ng tower, next stop nun is the tourism center, pwede ka na makakuha ng maps dun then after yung Menara (KL) tower -- which i think is a bit expensive and over rated IMHO - pero ok naman if sight seeing and picture taking lang.. So, sa 3 spots palang nun, you have covered KLs major landmark - yung mga succeeding spots are shopping (Central market & chinatown / little india) and cultural (museum and landmarks). You can end the tour again sa Petronas and this time, if whole day ang HOHO mo -- meron ka naman night shots ng Petronas!! All in one day. :-)

^ yup, so you can at least take a picture on the view of Petronas twice, one at daytime, one at night.

tska su-suggest ko rin pala, if wala kayo time mag HOHO or if medyo nagtitipid kayo pero you still want to go around the city, you can take advantage of the GO KL FREE bus routes.. especially if gusto nyo lang makita ang Petronas, Menara tower, Chinatown and Central Market.

Kung nalaman ko lang ng maaga na meron pala nito, sana ng GoKL na lang kame imbes na HOHO, ang lapit lang kase ng bus stop nito sa The Nest in Bukit Bintang where we stayed. We did ride it sa last day namen, umikot kame ulit sa Petronas, Bukit Bintang and Menara Tower. Super OK sya, kase sympre LIBRE! hahaha.. plus may free wifi sa loob. :-)

^ recently rin lang kasi nag-start ang Go KL bus sis. September siya ni-launch and ang this December lang nagkaron ng additional stops (Purple route).

^ sis, ok na yong itinerary mo.  yong sa Lakeview Garden (bird park, butterfly), pwede ka pumunta don by taxi after niyo sana ng Merdeka Square pero until 6pm lang sila.  you need at least half a day minimum for both parks.  mahirap na pag siningit mo pa siya when you come back from Genting.  Genting pa lang, ubos na rin half day mo.

^oo sis, pero kapos na kayo sa oras non, medyo magkalayo ang butterfly farm sa bird park pero they are all under lakeview garden. 

phones and laptops are cheap here.  sa Low Yat Plaza ang IT gadget mall dito.  So don ka makakabili ng mura.  Halos same lang naman pag sa SG pero mas mura dito alam ko.

Manila-SG-KL-Manila or Manila-SG-KL-SG-Manila?

mas tipid kasi sa pamasahe yung pauwi na eh KL to manila di ba?

Our flight schedule was moved from 11AM to 16:45. Will be arriving at KL around 20:30, here's my worry mga sis.. Hope someone can confirm if its possible (sis phurple, need your help, again!)

Can we still catch the last monorail train from KL Sentral to Bukit Bintang if we will be leaving LCCT around 21:30?

^ yes sis, kasi ang last trip ng monorail is 11:30 pm so if you are leaving LCCT around 9:30 pm, abot naman sis. 

^^ sis mozilla, just be ready with your tickets, tanungin man kayo basta me mapakita kayo na hotel accomodation, tickets (or whatever documents) pabalik, no problem.  di ka naman dapat matakot if you are only going to the 2 countries travelling

We were just in Malaysia a few days ago. Warning lang about their taxi drivers -- sobra kung managa! if salbahe na mga Filipino drivers, has matindi sila.

Kahit yung mga hotel ang nag-aarrange mahal pa din masyado maningil. Base on experience, best way to do it is to ask hotel for an approximate amount. Then get a cab outside (get the red one, yung blue/premium taxi double the price) and haggle for a lower fee. Hindi rin assurance that using the meter will be cheaper. Mas maganda pa nga yung fixed kase hindi ka nila papa-ikot-ikutin.

We weren't able to go to Hello Kitty Town and Johor Premium outlets dahil sa sobrang dismaya sa mga cab drivers nila. As for Legoland, we'll probably come back kapag gawa na ang hotel and waterpark nila.

^^ as I have mentioned before, KL has been tagged to have the worst taxi drivers, kaya i usually advise those coming here who will take the cab to get taxi sa mga kiosk where you pay the fare na immediately.  usually kasi pag papara ka lang, tatagain ka talaga. bibihira lang ang magbibigay ng tamang fare.  tama ka sis, mas maganda pa to have your hotel get you a cab kung nasa KL area ka.

but i heard, the government are doing something about it na.
