Pwede bang magdeposit ng PDC?

If so, paano ang clearing time nun? Does the check clear on the date of the check (as in bawas na sa checking account)? Or pareho lang yung experience na parang nagpunta ako personally sa bank to deposit that particular check on the date indicated sa check, and wait for 3 day clearing from the date of the check?

Plan ko kasing magdeposit ng BPI checks sa BDO savings account ko postdated lahat. Fund transfer purposes.

Yes and no. I'm referring to BDO banks only.

No, walang service charge if same region (usually a province).

Yes, kung ang deposit account ay nasa ibang region. P50 ata ang charge.

May mga ibang banks na wala nang service charges pag nagdeposit nationwide, such as BPI.

Some banks are still not that automated, I guess. Or that BDO is confident that they won't lose more customers even if other banks started waiving interbanking over-the-counter deposit fees (for the same bank).

Metrobank also charges on every inter-regional deposits like BDO.

You'd be surprised to know that there are even smaller banks that don't charge over-the-counter deposits nationwide. Bank of Commerce, Unionbank, PSBank are some examples. Probably to attract more depositors.

However, it used to be a common practice among most banks to charge service fees for deposits other than the home branch - even if the other branch is located just a stone throw away from the home branch. It's a good thing the banks are becoming competitive - I guess.

Simply said:

wire transfer = expensive - could cost you few thousands of pesos. transfer funds bank to bank locally or overseas and usually passes through intermediary banks. you want to do this as a last resort, if electronic fund transfer (described below) is not possible. funds generally come in the next day.

fund transfer = much cheaper in few hundreds of pesos. you might be referring to electronic fund transfer. it's also happens bank to bank transfers locally or overseas. funds usually come in after a few days to over a week.

for load retailer - you probably won't be using expensive wire transfer or "bit cheaper" electronic fund transfer to load it because in the first place it'll cost you an arm and a leg. it might be using some other way, maybe through bills payment facility (not sure on this though).

Mga sis gaano kayo katagal pinadalhan ng bdo rewards? Pinadalhan ako ng cc kahit di naman ako nag apply. Ang baba nga lang ng CL hehe. 20k lang. Eh sa metrobank and hsbc ko tag 200k. Plan ko pa naman sana ipa cut na hsbc and ipalit yung bdo kaya lang ano ba yun sobrang baba. Gatas lang ng mga babies ko yun and basic grocery. Ang gusto ko lang is same sila ni mbtc cc na di nag eexpire ang points.

True mababa talaga yung BDO. And even maganda ang credit standing mo sa kanila, keber nila. Ang sa kanila eh need mo pa mag submit ulit ng docs to prove na eligible ka for credit line increase.

I think it depends, i got a pre-approved Gold cc w/ 300k credit limit, but i didn't activated it coz i prefer my BPI pre-approved cc

True. Mababa talaga sila magbigay ng limit. To think na we have 3 accounts with them all in good standing plus a mutual fund account din. Yung BDO credit card ko in fairness tinaasan nila ng kusa recently. Nabwisit kase ako nung sinabihan ako ng CS na kelangan ko pa daw mag-send ng documents as proof of income.

Anyway, I had an issue with one of my BDO atms kanina. My husband tried to withdraw and got a message saying invalid card number. When I called CS, sabe nasama daw yung account ko sa list ng possible accounts na 'na-compromise' so they had to block it for security purposes. I checked our online accounts kagad and wala naman nabawas or anything so sabe punta na lang ako sabranch to get a new card kase invalid na daw talaga yung atm ko. Kahit naging inconvenient kanina, ok na din at least mejo naging overprotective sila. I've heard and read a lot of horror stories na nawi-withdrawhan yung accounts nila

I recently pulled out my account and transfer it to BPI. Masyado akong na stress sa kanila last two weeks coz sobrang haba ng pila tapos yung mga teller parang walang pakialam lang.. Nagkataon pa na may sakit ako at kailangan ko talaga pumunta ng banko.. Haist!

Pansin ko sa branch na napupuntahan ko dedma kahit madaming tao. Unlike sa iba na may lane for bulk transactions para di nakaka tagal sa usad ng pila.

Called up kanina to request for CL increase, hiningi details ng pinaka mataas kong CL limit sa ibang cc. Pag wala dW kasing ibang cards need to submit proof of income pa. Ayun for approval pa daw.

Yung bdo rewards naman tinawag ko na din. To my dismay last year pa daw pinadala. May nagreceived din di ko kakilala yung name na sinabi nung csr. Pina blocked ko na lang muna then replace na lang daw wait ng 15-20 banking days daw before dumating. Di pala na update ng branch of account ko yung address ko kahit updated naman sigcard ko. Oh well, buti na lang pala at nainip ako sa pag antay at tumawag ako. Kung hindi, wala palang dadating.

Sobra akong na surprised kanina when I recieved my bill dahil inincrease ng BDO yung credit limit ko. Hindi naman ako nag request. I'm so happy talaga.

Just want to rant that BDO has the worst service. Mga teller nila walang pakialam or respect man lang sa clients nila. Whenever we go there, their tellers would just look at us, and whenever we call out for their assistance, parang sila pa naabala to help us. Pardon me but this branch we bank with, their employees are arrogant. That's why when our TD matures next week, we're pulling it out and transfer it to BPI.
