never ever park your car under the sun, for long hours.

car wax. it protects your car paint from fading. do it in a regular basis.

Cars come with clear coat from the factory, its a sacrificial layer before the paint. However, to maintain the shiny appearance, you need to apply wax at least once a month. Also apply protectant to the plastic parts to avoid cracking and fading.

With regards to the interior, just install a quality tint like 3M and protectant for the dash.

I should start learning how to perpendicular park. My car is just parked outside the street. Hindi pala maganda nakababad sa initan ang kotse.

ako din may garage pero walang roof,nice to know na kailangan pala ng wax at least a month to protect the paint.Also yung sa wiper,lagi ko tinataas kapag mainit masyado.

Try optiguard, it should be applied by experts. Once a year to protect your paint from fading, rust and all. Once a year is good enough for one year protection..

Sayang naman pala car ko now, I don't do waxing for the car.  No time din kasi for me to leave it there and hangout in the tea place, wala naman wifi.

Had my new car installed with Huper Optik Ceramic 40 film all around (except the windshield) so it doesn't
get as hot after my car sits in the sun all day.  Will use windshield sun shades too so that the interior and dash
do not get too much of a beating sitting under the sun.  The bamboo steering wheel and remote touch controller
also got hot the first week when my car did not have films installed.

yes, hassle talaga to leave your car under the sun. kahit 30 minutes lang super asar na pagsakay.

we use sun shades for the wind shield para di masyado mainit pagsakay.

the wipers are lifted up para di matunaw ang rubber sa init ng windshield. i do that too - if i remember it. otherwise, mas madalas ako magpalit ng wipers kasi di na sya malinaw mag-wipe.

makakaubos ba ng water kapag nakabilad sa araw? newbie pa lang ako sa car, lam ko lang kasi sa paint may effect, every month din ba kayo nagpapawax?

^very minimal naman siguro ang effect ng araw sa pagkaubos ng tubig. besides, madali lang naman palitan ang tubig and dapat rin palagi nichecheck para di mag-overheat.

i read something before about the fumes of the hot dashboard - dapat daw pasingawin muna when it's really hot. before isara lahat ng windows and turn the ac on. something about fumes of melting plastic.

^newbie pa lang kasi ako sa car,hindi ko pa siya dinadala sa office, kasi open parking, ayokong ibilad sa araw, tapos biglang uulan, naawa sa car, wahahaha...sanamay makita ako na covered yung parking...

sometimes when i have to park my car under the sun for long, i leave my four windows slightly open so as to avoid too much heat build up inside. BUT i make sure its in a secure spot first

Matagal na akong may car pero hindi ako marunong with maintenance.  I know there are many brands out there, and I'm worried that I might go to a car shop that would offer discounted rates  pero the quality of the material and result will suffer naman.
