hi mga sis. sino dito nakapagtry using your ATMs abroad para magwithdraw ng funds? can i just use it agad or do i have to inform the bank first, kasi baka invalid pagdating dun? how much din po fees if ever? maganda po ba exchange rates by directly usin my ATM vs normal money changers? tia! ^ kami sis, we usually just withdraw pagdating ng airport, not only in BKK but in other countries as well, even in Europe. We use BDO card, no need to call the bank, if tama pagkaalala ko.. tagal na kasi since nag-start kami gumamit ng ATM to withdraw abroad.. since 2008 yata..

IMO, better rates ng ATM withdrawal vs money changer, provided, malaking amount iwi-withdraw kasi fixed ang fee per transaction. Transaction fee is $3, regardless magkano iwiwithdraw. The higher you withdraw, the more sulit the transaction fee is.

In BKK, we usually withdraw at least thb8k, up to thb17k at a time, equivalent to roughly php11k-25k (php25k being the maximum withdrawal limit per transaction for our ATM card).. Then we have USDs for backup, in case maubusan ng baht towards the end of the trip, at konti na lang projected expenses (di na aabot ng thb8k).

For BPI and Metrobank ATM cards, I think you need to call them beforehand if you plan to use abroad.

^ sulit na yan sis, although I haven't tried booking through that site pa.. but their itinerary for ayutthaya ang bang pa in looks similar to the tours we availed of before, so it should be ok.

my kuya and his family went to safari world and marine park tour and enjoy naman daw ang mga pamangkin ko. Ako, I haven't been there.

thanks sis! i dunno if mag eenjoy ako sa safari world kasi parang pambata naman.. mas gusto ko sana sa elephant village and floating market kahit DIY kaso my hubby insisted the safari.. hayzzz! yung sa ayutthaya and bang pa-in ba may elephant riding dun?  thanks again sis.

Day 3 -  ayutthaya and bang pa-in tour
              asiatique and calypso
              dinner ( saan maganda magdinner near asiatique? )

Day 4 - safari world tour
             siam niramit
             dinner ( within siam naramit area na din )

Day 5 - chatujak
             floating market and elephant village

Day 6 - s h o p p i n g
            dinner cruise

Day 7-  back to manila 9:35AM

^^ sis, walang elephant ride sa Bang Pa In. Meron sa ayutthaya pero di ko lang sure if me fixed pwesto sila. Sa pagkaalala ko, nasa tabi-tabi lang yung mga nag-ooffer ng elephant ride dun.

^ sis, your IT looks ok na. I have some comments/suggestions lang. Hope it's ok. 

Day 2, go to Patpong after Baiyoke Sky. Wala pang happening masyado dun if before dinner kayo punta. And, ingat sa pagpasok sa mga girly bars dun kasi super-mahal ng drinks and malalaman mo lang pag palabas ka na.. and medyo aggressive ang mga "bouncers". Not from my personal experience, but from my husband and his friends. Di ako sumama when they went to Patpong e.. nagpaiwan ako sa hotel.

Day 3, lots of dinner options in Asiatique (isang complex kasi to). Nasa loob ng Asiatique si Calypso. Me mala-food court, meron din restos all around. If you want a good view, me restaurants facing the river.

Day 4 meron option ang Siam Niramit na dinner+show, thb350 lang price difference vs sa "show only". You might want to consider that. Ok na din ang buffet, pwede na.. Wala akong napansin na kainan around the immediate vicinity of Siam Niramit. Your other option is, kain na kayo san man kayo manggagaling before kayo punta ng Niramit. Check their website for more info. You can also buy tickets online, and pay using paypal.

Day 5 start early with the floating market and elephant village para pwedeng lunchtime onwards e Chatuchak na kayo.

noted!!! thank you sis ha..  first time kasi namin ni hubby sa bkk kaya malaking tulong talaga mga suggestions/comments nyo. as early as what time kaya kami maganda magstart sa floating market and elephant village para makahabol sa chatujak? maraming salamat po ulet.

Thats too expensive. We went there last july and booked our ayutthaya & bang pa-in day tour (with free lunch) via canary travel and tours. Nakuha ko lang din ang info about canary travel and tours sa pinoy exchange na forum. I paid 750 Baht per person ata. Just check their website. You can pay via paypal.

If you want mas mura pa na tours, you can go to Khao San road when you're already in Bangkok. They have tours for as low as 500-600 baht.

we were in ayutthaya last friday and di naman baha. the weather is super ok, mainit  we left bkk yesterday morning and maulan nga around 6AM (bkk time). paalis yung plane around 10AM (bkk time) medyo cloudy na.

Khao san is popular with mga puti, kasi madaming murang guest houses dun and most of them stay ng matagalan. But personally, I wouldn't recommend this, especially kung ilang days lang in Bangkok because walang malapit na BTS station. Magre-rely ka sa taxi, which is magastos. Also, far from shopping areas. Sukhumvit area is ok. Pratunam area is also ok, especially if you plan to do a lot of tiangge shopping.

i read somewhere na open yung weekend market kahit ng Friday (wholesale day daw?) ask ko lang kung anong araw mas okay, Friday or Saturday?

^ sabi ng friend ko, nagoopen daw Chatuchak ng Friday 6pm to midnight. Though I would guess, mas "alive" talaga ang atmosphere pag weekend. Baka din bitin if Friday night lang, unless me specific items ka lang na gustong bibilhin (like home decors)..

we plan to visit Ayutthaya on our 2nd day. may nabasa me blog na they did a bike and boat tour sa Ayutthaya. may nakapag-try na ng ganun and can recommend a tour operator? TIA
