^Ewan ko ha pero feeling ko baka meaning niya is kapag package tour kasi at least meron kayong guide na taga turo kung saan kayo makakapunta na hindi kayo maliligaw. Kasi sa DIY mahirap rin baka maligaw kayo tapos marami ring loko sa Thailand lalo na kapag nalaman na tourist ka. Mahirap rin kasi kung sa Taxi kayo magrely mga loko rin yan. Kung sa package tour provided na yung Shuttle okay na yun.

Nakakainis, ang mahal na ng flights pabalik from BKK. Mukhang hindi na kami matutuloy. Hay excited pa naman ako.

Hi! I'm just new in Girl Talk. I hope you could help me.    Me and my boyfriend are going to 1D Bangkok- 3D Phuket- 3D Bangkok this coming December. We are on a budget trip.  Can you suggest budget hotels na okay both in Phuket and Bangkok? Mas prefer namin sa sana na near the tourist destinations, MRT and not so much of the malls in BKK.  Sa Phuket prefer namin Kata. 

 Ask ko din, since we are going to Phuket on our 2nd day, mas okay ba mag stay near Don Muang International Airport or near Grand Palace na lang since balak pa rin namin mag tour sa me Grand Palace on our first day?   Super need your help kasi it is our first time to travel out of the country.    TIA

Just arrived from bkk & phuket. We stayed in sugar palm resort kata,ok naman 5mins walk sa kata beach. Dun ka na magbook ng tour sa kata mas mura kesa online. Mas marami kainan sa patong pero mas ok crowd sa kata.

Kahit sa siam area ka magstay sa bkk ok lang 30-45mins away to dmk airport. Pm me if u need more info

Bangkok - kung di naman kayo masyadong picky and sabi mo nga budget travel kayo,  i suggest is to go to khao san, hostels there are dirt cheap. i stayed in one for 350 a night for double room. you will be out most of the day so a hostel will do. khao san is near the grand palace. if you want to go to the malls from khao san, just take bus number 15 baba kayo ng siam or ng national stadium bts (train station).

In Kata, i dont know. Sa Karon ako nag stay. i stayed sa ruam thep inn which was 2000 baht for a night. pero sa tapat nila may nakita akong paskil na "500 baht only during off peak". Decemeber is a peak season so medyo mahal ang rates.

If you go to Don Muang area, malayo yan sa city. It is about 400 baht sa taxi. So I suggest stay sa city then magtaxi na lang kayo pa don muang going to the airport.

Finally booked Eastin Grand Hotel Sathorn for our 6-day mini vacay this coming weekend. The hotel is connected to Surasak BTS and so we decided to DIY the Grand Palace and temples since its very accessible lang pala. Is this doable in one day plus dinner cruise? Also, which transpo is more convenient if we travel to Ayutthaya, via bus or van? Thanks!

for ayutthaya - mini bus (van) is the better option as it is faster. pwede ka din magtrain. experience lang. maganda ang trains nila dito.

tingin ko doable naman ang plano mo sis kasi baka mamaya magsawa ka kakatingin ng temples. ako nga 2 lang napuntahan ko, ayaw ko na. agahan nio punta sa grand palace kasi til 4pm lang yata sia open.

-sis may isang line kasi ng bts train, na yung dulo nun eh terminal na ng chug-chug
train, i just forgot the exact name of that line...magkadugtong lang yung terminal na yun eh,
parang lalabas ka lang dun sa bts train, then paglabas mo chug chug train na...

we got the 8am train ride going to ayutthaya, 2 hrs lang yun, then sasabihin naman
ng train conductor kung ayutthaya na...then from the train terminal, may mga tuktuk
nang nakaabang dun...pero kung gusto niyong mag-rent ng bike instead, medyo
lakad kayo ng konti across the train terminal, andun yung mga bike rentals..

although, mag tuktuk na lang kayo, kapagod pag bike around ayutthaya...

Thanks for your reply, sis ivy! Hubby and I decided to just book a tour of Ayutthaya cos less hassle sa transpo and more comfortable than DIY. Got the tour from hotels2thailand for thb3100 for 2pax na. All our others tours from them na rin except for Siam Niramit show and dinner which is from orientalescape kasi cheaper sila by thb500.

Here's our final itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive BKK 12am
         - Check-in Eastin Grand Sathorn

Day 2 - DIY tour of Grand Palace, Emerald Buddha, [textspeak!] Trimit, [textspeak!] Pho, Marble Temple and [textspeak!] Arun
         - Chinatown
         - Chao Praya Dinner Princess Cruise (c/o H2T)

Day 3 - Damnoen Saduak floating market (H2T)
         - Siam Niramit (Oriental Escape)

Day 4 - Ayutthaya and Bang Pa In Palace tour by River Sun Cruise (H2T)
         - Dinner at Baiyoke Sky
         - Cocktails at Sky Bar, Lebua Tower

Day 5 - Jim Thompson House
         - Siam shopping (MBK, Paragon, Discovery, Central World)
         - Terminal 21
         - Khao San
         - Asiatique (Calypso Show if time permits)

Day 6 - Shop for fruits from nearby fresh market (hope may malapit sa hotel)
         - Check out hotel noon
         - Shopping at Platinum, Pratunam, Big C
         - 8pm leave for airport for 12:35am flight back to MNL
       
I do hope we get to do everything as planned, weather and time permitting. Would appreciate any comments or suggestions mga sis...Thanks a lot!

Sis, yung Day 2 mo masyadong hectic. When we went there last year, Grand Palace, W@t Pho at W@t Arun lang ang kinaya namin dahil nasa isang area lang sila (Rattanakosin Island). Yun kasing W@t Traimitr at W@t Benchamabophit a.k.a. Marble Temple nasa ibang area.

Keri naman yung Day 3, 4, 5 and 6. You can shop for fruits at Siam Paragon Supermarket, super laki ng selection dun.

Sa Clark ba yung flight niyo?

Our flight is MNL-BKK-MNL via CebuPac. Will do more research on Day 2 itinerary, which area to visit first so we can maximize our time. I'll check Siam Paragon supermarket for the fruits.
