Ganda.   Parang narrower pero hindi naman.  Longer lang sha.  Ganda.

planning to get an iphone 5 for my dad this christmas. medyo malaki rin naging price drop sa kimstore last weekend nung 32gb, i think from 52k naging 47k nalang. though a friend from the US said na 32gb halos nasa $800 lang daw dun. napapaisip tuloy ako where to get.

^As much as possible ako rin ayoko bumili sa local resellers kasi grabe ang patong naman! To think most of them did not even pay duties/taxes for the units.

People here in hong kong are going crazy for iphone 5. Although they already launched it here, you cant just easily get it from apple store, you need to pre-order which usually takes 2-3 months if you're lucky. In grey market it costs around 6,500 -7,300 HKD (34k-37k pesos) for a 16Gb iphone, while in mainland china around 9,000-10,000 RMB (52,000 pesos), almost 100% mark up of apple's price HKD 5,588 (29,600 pesos)

^Most of the resellers in the grey market here get their units in Singapore since it only takes 2-3 weeks. Unlike in Apple HKG that does it by lottery kaya matagal talaga. I don't think it's a good idea for a reseller to get their units in HKG since it is not readily available. Plus it's not sound business to get from the grey market only to sell it in the grey market again? Well, unless you get it at a bargain price which I doubt. Just doesn't make sense to me.

Anyway, rumors has it that the iPhone 5 will be locally available just in time for Christmas. Happy Christmas for me kung totoo nga! Probably why some of the resellers are lowering their prices too. Suggest for those wanting to have the iPhone 5 to just wait it out.

^sis, probably a month ago but right now if you visit their website it's down to 2-3 weeks only. I guess because their supplies are getting better. I was planning on buying there and having it shipped back here by Johnny Air pero I changed my mind kasi baka lumabas na rin dito by the time I get the phone.

@ava_camille: hmmm... i'm an apple fan pero medyo annoying na na ganyan kabilis. okay pa yung before na 1 year yung gap pero now eh months nalang ang binibilang. parang kakabili mo palang e luma na agad yung model ng phone mo. yah part ng strategy nila na unti-unti yung ayos ng features ng phones nila pero wag naman oa. hmph, i like it better nung si steve jobs pa. hehe.

can you imagine that, kabibili mo lang ng iphone 4 or 4s, then the news will come out unexpectedly that majority in  the world is eyeing for the new IP5. nakupo, nakakwalang gana hindi po ba.

so you can't appreciate na kabibili mo lang tapos nabalitaan mo na may bagong lalabas.

The Iphone5 I ordered will now be delivered at my home on Nov 15!  It was previously stated within Nov 20-26.  I guess they have stock now here in SG.

@prettychestnut: true. saka pag naglabas ng bago after just a few months ng release nung previous, sasabihin "improved, etc..." so nakakainis if you bought the old one feeling mo naloko ka kasi lalabas lahat ng kapangitan ng previous model. oh well that's business, kailangan nila kumita...
