hello there!

i asked my bro in SG to buy an iphone 5 for me. question lang mga sis since this is the first time for me to use an iphone (been a BB user for the longest time) ...would  a globe post-paid SIM card work even if the phone was bought in SG? can I just bring my phone to any globe outlet? thanks in advance!

may tinda na bang nano sim cards jan sa pinas i will come home this December para naman magamit ko pa din yung phone ko while im there ayoko magroaming sa line ko dito baka magulat ako sa bill ko

^ basta dapat yung last action mo hindi assistive touch, if you use the AT to go to the home screen, try mo i-swipe muna pag nasa home screen na then tignan mo if mag-auto lock na.

dunno exactly.. pero by law bawal magtinda ng network locked phone dito. kahit nga yung USB stick/mobile internet di pede locked.

Hi sis! Congrats on your new phone! Question, is it true that the iphone 5 screen has a yellowish tinge compared to iphone 4/4s? I read about this in the other forums e, was wondering if it's true. Thanks!

mistykaye_p - hi Sis! I am using my Globe postpaid nano sim on my iP5. 

ampere - yes, meron nang nano sims here for prepaid.

annecel - luckily Sis walang yellowish tinge yung sa akin. I compared it with my iP4 and iP4S.

Hay! Bought iPhone5 online on the last week of October, hanggang ngayon wala pa rin.  Although according to apple store, then will deliver at my place within nov 16-20 pa. 

Thinking of selling it in Phils though (a friend).  How much would 64GB normally cost in grey market in Manila?

dun sa mga unlock issues, just go to settings, general and auto lock then choose the time you want. then restart your phone. you will never experience the issue again.

Apple online store Thailand is already selling factory unlocked iPhone 5 with lesser wait time (2 weeks) than SG.

Factoring in the tax and forex, lumalabas, almost same price din sila ng Apple SG.

galing lang kami SG and was eyeing to buy an iphone5.. unfortunately out of stock sa mga premium resellers the whole of singapore.. yung contract lines lang ang available.. sabi sa mga shops daw meron in sim lim and funan and we did not bother going there na.. will probably wait for it here na lang din para may warranty na din..

Thanks sis.  Iuuwi ko sa pinas on xmas yung iphone 5 without opening it.  Pag wala pang iphone5 sa pinas by that time, i might sell it kasi mataas pa ang value.  Bakit kaya nag ubusan ng stock.  Sana next time they will not let telcos buy first.  They will prioritize unlocked ones para di naman ubusin ng telcos ang stocks.

mga sis are you able to send email when your wi-fi is on? was trying to send an email a while ago and im using wifi pero ayaw magsend but when i switched to data nagsend sya    is this another bug of iOS6? ang dyahe lang kasi if through data lang pwede magsend pag naka-wifi ayaw.

have you tried either resetting your network or deleting your e-mail account?

^^ using ios6 naman (ip4 nga lang), nakaka-send naman ako ng email via wifi or data.. never encountered pa yung prob na yan since i updated to ios6

@snowflakes: tried it, still doesn't work..

gusto ko na bumili ng case before my phone arrives. dating ng friend ko in 1-2 weeks... haaay naiinip na ko pero ok lang! anyway back sa usapang case, dami ko nakita maganda, di ako makapili! Haha!
