Mga sis pa help po, how to do a novena kay Padre Pio?  What day ba dapat mag start? And can you please share the novena prayer. Thank you for your support. We need him badly my father was diagnosed with cancer, and affected na ang liver. God Bless. Sana ma prolong pa ang buhay nya. Please pray for us. Thank you.

@itcha123 - Punta ka sa chapel sa Libis, bili ka ng novena booklet dun.  Di ko lang alam kung binebenta din yun sa ibang establishments like St. Paul's Libreria kasi yung saken dun ko talga binili.  You can start any time, any day.  Maganda din na makasimba ka at least once during the novena sa chapel ni Padre Pio and receive the anointing of the oil.  I suggest mag rosary ka din daily because Padre Pio was a Marian devotee.  God bless you and your family.  I said a prayer just now for your father.

Manhattanite, ask lang pwede bang hindi na kasama father ko sa pagsimba sa Libis? Balak sana namin this coming Saturday, ako at sister ko attend ng mass, hirap na kasi father kong  bumiyahe, medyo malayo rin kasi kami sa Cavite pa kami manggagaling. Thank u

medyo matagal na rin akong di nakaka visit kay padre pio. almost 3 weeks na rin. i'll try to visit the church in libis siguro by next week.

Hi mga sissies!

This is my first time to pray a Novena to St. Padre Pio. I'm currently here in Baguio City but will be going down next week to Manila and the first I'm going to do is visit St. Padre Pio in Libis. Parang pinagtagpo talaga because I need to go to my old school na malapit sa church to St. Padre Pio to get my record. Then sakto nabasa ko ito and found out na malapit din pala church si St. Pio sa old school ko.

Just want to ask, san part mo ba sabihin yung petition mo? Normally aksi sa ibang novena they would insert yung "(Mention your petition)" or malalaman mo pag dun na sabihin yung petition pag may "....."

For this one kasi wala. For example itong Introductory Prayer:

Come to me as Father and friend, Jesus, and do not leave me alone. Lord, abide with me!
I am just a pilgrim wandering in a world enveloped by darkness; bestow on me your light and your grace. Lord, abide with me!
In this precious moment, embrace me; let this union between us last forever. Lord, abide with me!

San ba dyan? May nabasa ako dito na yung isang sis sinasabi nya petition nya before sya mag start ng novena. Is that really how it works? Sabihin mo muna petition mo before mo pray yung Introductory prayer and yung pray mo for Day 1 to Day 9?

galing ako sa padre pio in libis kanina at na annoint ako ni bro ramon sabi niya sabi ni God wala naman akong serious sickness/problems but I am just full of worries. God will enlighten me and God wishes me to serve in the church after such enlightenment.  Just what I need nalloka na kasi ako sa kakaisip lately.

kanina 530 mass yata pero di kami umabot sa mass mga 630 or mag 7 na siguro kami nakapunta andun siya sa left side ng altar malapit sa statue ni Mother Mary, pero taunan lang kasi iisang pila for lahat ng mag papa annoint..

^^ sis omneecka, nagsi-serve naman si Bro Ramon on both masses (5:15pm and 7pm mass). thing is, the anointing of holy oil usually happens after the 7pm mass (and also after the 12noon mass). walang anointing of holy oil after the 5:15pm mass. also, usually ah, priority is given to those who are sick or in wheelchairs. if you are a regular churchgoer na nakapila, swertehan kung ma-assign ka kay Bro Ramon. there are ushers who direct the people kung sinong lay minister ang bakante. marami din kasing lay ministers ang nag-aanoint.

I've always wanted to drop by his chapel in libis for years now since i have known him. I did novena everyday and my copy was just from the net hindi ko alam kung alin doon so i pray all of them hehe. Every time i pass libis gusto ko dumaan for the first time in my life, kaso kung hindi traffic kaya i procrastinate, may important lakad naman ako so hindi pwede. Pag may free time naman ako pero nasa southbound lane ako, naha hassle ako maghanap pa ng uturn slot. Feeling ko tuloy, kelan ba ako makakapunta doon talaga? Sana in God's time pero sana wag naman dahil may super lala na akong problem.
