I named my daughther after St Padre Pio, my daughter's name is Frances Pia.. I waited for 3 years for me to conceive and had several failed medical intervension. I attended the mass in libis last sept 23 during the feast day of st pio and prayed to get pregant after a month i found out i was pregnant. I got pregant the natural way without medical intervention just the novena to st pio. May 26, 2013 i believe is the bday of st pio i gave birth to my baby pia.. My baby is a gift from heaven and St padre pio helped me prayed to our Lord.. Its truly a blessing and miracle. Since i attended the mass during st pio's feast day i started to pray the novena and my prayer was granted..http://

I just want to share my story.

June 22, Saturday. I visited Padre Pio Church in Libis. I usually go there to pray. It's my piece of heaven, my safe and quiet place. That day, I prayed to have 10 unit sales (I'm a Realtor) before the end of the month and that is just 1 week. I lit 10 candles and ask Padre Pio's intercession. I know it's somewhat unusual, because before I was just praying and having 1 unit sale per month. I prayed and before I left, I thank God as if my prayer is granted.

June 24, I got my 1st sale for the month, I was so thankful. I got 1, now where will I get the 9, my question to my self, Im looking for my list of client that would possibly buy for me that week I can't be sure if there will be another one. But, still, I am firm in my faith that I will have that 9 remaining without any clue where.

Tuesday came and I still dont know where they are. I still have a grateful heart.

Wednesday morning, as I my morning prayes goes, Lord, ready na po ako, give me na po... :) Pedre Pio help me, pray for me and I prayed my morning prayers. Before I left home I receive a Text message for an urgent inquiry in one of my project that was just before 9am. To cut the story short that person bought 8 units from me and she is paying all the 8 units full in cash. OK, I got 9... I ended my day visiting Padre Pio Church.

I was soooooo happy and overwhelmed, that was a record I made with my 8 units. I even forgot that I asked 10 because Im grateful beyond I can say.  I forgot about the 10 units that I asked God. I am so glad I have the 8 until Saturday came and I got my 10th unit.

I got what I asked for precisely what I asked for. Praise the Lord. Miracles really do happen. I learned that when you ask and pray, you must be ready to receive God's grace.

Until this moment, I cant thank God enough... I'm praying still, Im so thankful... My heart is singing...

God Bless!!!

One miracle pa with Padre pio's help...

My nephew kasi pag nag kakasakit di nakakakain everything he eats throw up nya lang after. He was like that madalas. I dont know kung anong meron sa kanya. Lagi din constipated. One time nag kasakit sya I remembered I bought novena to Padre Pio, my nephew just turn 4 that time. I gave it to him, sabi ko... That same day, nakapunta kami sa mall and nag laro sya parang walang sakit nung umaga... Tapos sabi nya sakin, tita, punta tayo ke Padre Pio sa house nya, para mag thank you.

Everytime na sasabihin ko sa nephew ko na pupunta kami ke Padre Pio he's so excited. I guess Padre Pio connects to my nephew din. Prayer warrior ko din yun... :) since then di na sya ng kakasakit...

Out of the blue, i suddenly felt the urge to browse thru my old photo albums, them when i opened one photo album, there was a Padre Pio novena inserted in one of the page. Its like it presented itself to me! Ang galing!

I just finished my novena and hopefully, Padre Pio grants my wish..

Nakakatuwa naman tong tread na to, Father Pio was introduced to me by my bestfriend sa work ko before. Kaya naman ngayon I go to Libis once or twice a month to visit him to give thanks and pray as well. He's really good, he will always make you feel na magaan ang mga bagay.

Hi there! Just wanna share my experience during my visit in Padre Pio's church.. We were there yesterday para bumisita lang sana. I was with my only son . Nga pla, my son has ADHD.
The best part is nung anointing of oil na, d ko akalain na maaanoint kami ng anak ko kasi grabeng haba ng pila! When it's our turn na, Tanong nung lay minister "Nsaan po asawa nyo?" Me: "Iniwan nya na po kami.." (Btw, sumakabilang bahay na ex ko! As in malapit lang.)
Then after nun grabe umiyak ako! As in d ako makapaniwala na parang nabasa nya kung anong nasa loob ko and take note, I had goosebumps!
We'll definitely go back po Father Pio..Sana po makapunta kami sa feast nyo..Amen..  :) ;) ;D

Sis anewme1126, naluha dn ako sa kwento mo!  Actually the past 2 Sundays din na nag-mass kami kay Padre Pio, naiyak din ako during the mass.  Wala naman akong problemang dinadala pero there is really something about that place that gets to you ano?  Nararamdaman ko talga si God and Padre Pio touching me while I'm there.  Thank you to Mang Ramon for building that place and for advocating Padre Pio in our country.

I’ve been reading this thread since September 2011.  It is only now that I decided to share my story.

I wasn’t blessed with a good love life since I first fell in love at the age of 13.  I had four ex-boyfriends that we all know didn’t work out well.  One was puppy love, the other was out of desperation, the third wasn’t promising any future at all and the last was again, out of desperation.  The last was unfortunately an annulled soldier and the reason for annulment was a mistress with his kid.  And fate of all fate, that faulty soldier even dumped me.

I’ve come to accept that becoming happily in love was not meant for me.  My career was doing fine and I am blessed with a wonderful family. I felt ugly and felt that no one got interested in me.

I left my job of two years last July 2011, went to the US for a family vacation on the whole of August 2011.  That whole time, I was expecting and praying that my friend of six years could be “the one.”  I even wrote a 13-paged story relating the events of how much I treasured the friendship that spanned years and wasn’t broken by continents and time zones.  This was my friend from college whom I hoped, “sana Lord, siya na lang po.” My friend and I met after six years of being apart and did a catch up of what we missed since we last spent our days together after college graduation.

I came back home in September 2011 and started with a new company in Taguig.  I was still floating – hoping and wishing that my friend was “the one.”

Out of nowhere, I started browsing the internet about the St. Pio Shrine at Libis.  Ironically, I am from a very devout Catholic family but I never got a chance to visit the shrine even when I worked at Libis for two years.  I didn’t know what brought me there.  It was like, I was dragged by some force and before I knew it, I was at the Shrine one afternoon of September 2011.  That time, I felt like I would go crazy.  I quote a line from my favorite novel, Paulo Coelho’s By the River Piedra I Sat Down and Wept, “Waiting is painful, forgetting is painful; but not knowing what to do is the worst kind of suffering.”  I was literally feeling that way then.

I went to the Shrine on a Monday and met a certain Tita Cora who was a devotee.  On my first visit, I attended Mass and later on bought the prayer booklet at the store.  I started the novena that same night. On the seventh day, I got my answer.  My friend confronted me sa yahoo messenger, saying, “Are you still dreaming or hoping or imagining na magiging tayo someday?”  It turned out na he never felt the same way about me.  And that he thought it was unfair na sobrang close namin tapos may nararamdaman pala akong ganito.

I thanked God I got the answer.  Little did I know that my new job was God’s way of leading “the one” to me.  He led one of the guys I HATED at work to join me one afternoon.  I drove home, giving him a ride, but I had to do some errands at the supermarket and ended up tagging him along with me at the St. Pio Shrine.  That was October 2011.

In December 2011, that same guy proposed within two months into the relationship – without any ring.  On the 29th of December 2011 – a payday – we went to the Minor Basilica of San Sebastian to pay the reservation fee for a wedding on December 29, 2012.  He only had PhP 75,000 at hand during that time.  May 2012, the pamamanhikan took place.  We agreed at a budget of PhP 300,000 for the Church wedding, but it turned out that it would balloon to half a million.

September 2012, he again proposed, this time with a .38 carat solitaire diamond ring.

December 29, 2012 was the start of my “happily forever after.”  Relatively, I had a wedding that most women only dreamt of – the grandeur of one of the most beautiful churches in the country, the only steel church in Asia at that, a very beautiful wedding gown, the romantic  serenade of a string quintet, a very romantic prenuptial shoot – name it, I had it!

Indeed, there is a time for everything and a season for every activity under the heavens.

I once felt ugly, but my husband proved to me that I’m not.  Being a consultant of a real estate company (aside from his full time job), I ended up having my own building size billboard at Katipunan Avenue last February.  I am no headturner, but the billboard was placed opposite Lee Minho’s and Anne Curtis’ Billboard (near Ateneo).

The man that God has destined for me proved that I am indeed lovable and I am beautiful.

He was playing around girls when we met – planning to marry in his late thirties.  When he saw me, he said he couldn’t wait for me to be his wife.  He was 29 and I was 28 when we got married.

Thank you very much St. Pio for your intercession.

And we lived happily forever after.

Hi sis goddessjem I am also a Padre Pio devotee, Im not sure if its ot pero Sta. Clara devotee din ako, if you want magkaananak hiling ka sa kanya dun sa Katipunan, as far as I know isa yan sa mga mabilis maibigay ni Sta. Clara alay ka lang ng egg. Magkalapit lang sila kasi what we do once a month is go to Libis muna then St. Clare sa Katipunan. Baka you want to try lang naman :)

sis engr_neechee, your story is inspiring sis..  :) well.. i know it could be more difficult in my case to meet The One (since I'm a single mom)... but i know nothing is impossible with God (through the intercession of St. Pio and Mama Mary) if it is really meant to happen..  :)

Padre Pio never fail to amaze me.
There was a time that hubby and I had a huge fight, I wanted to leave the house but I don't know where to go, I first thought of going to tagaytay to visit Tierra de Maria, but I don't think it's safe for me to drive that far knowing my emotions' too strong at that time and it's already late. Plus I don't want to bother my family and my closest friends for our marital problems, so I just slept. When I woke up the next day, still with a heavy heart, I still have this urge to leave and be alone. I immediately took a bath and left but I was still undecided where to go. I was driving along C5, choosing which mall to go to but Padre Pio came to my mind. He must have known that I needed his guidance so I hurriedly head to his chapel. I was crying the whole time I was praying while waiting for my turn to touch him. What's weird was that, when it was already my turn to pray to him, I was speechless and my tears had stopped flowing. Right there and then, I felt I was already healed from all the pain and the hurt. I am at peace. I couldn't  thank him enough, even if I wasn't asking yet, he has already interceded for me and my requests, he's just waiting for me to come and visit him.

Padre Pio, thank you very much!!! My novena was answered when I passed my accreditation.

Napakasarap magpunta sa simbahan, you can feel something different there, it's like going home.

Again, salamat Padre Pio. To God be the glory!

Inspired by a lot of stories here, especially engr_neechee's, I visited St. Pio's shrine in Libis last week. The first time I went there, late na ako pumunta kasi may inasikaso pa ako beforehand. I didn't expect na may maabutan pa ako. But I arrived there just in time for the anointing of oil! I felt a sense of calmness at halos napaluha ako afterwards.

It really has a calming effect, and it's very comfortable. I found it very conducive to prayer and inner peace. And it also helps na maamo talaga tingnan si St. Pio; sobrang fatherly ng mukha niya. Praying to him made me feel like I was talking to a warm father figure. Initially, I just wanted to try attending one Mass and/or anointing, but after visiting the shrine, I decided to buy a prayer booklet. (My story is detailed in the "St. Jude Answered Prayers" thread.) I've been praying a lot for this to happen - iba't ibang novenas na. It won't hurt to start yet another novena!

Also, I visited St. Pio's shrine a second time - just a few days after my first visit. There was no Mass going on, so I was able to say some silent prayers to St. Pio. I really pray that he will help bring reconciliation between me and my ex before I leave for another country. 23, kahit pa work day yun.

I've heard that some people have actually seen apparitions of him. That would be nice, too.
