Was at the wedding expo last Saturday and sa tatlong caterers na pinag-inquire-an ko (PC, Josiah's, KbyC), Passion Cooks lang ang talagang nag-entertain sakin.

Nakausap ko si Melissa, and sobrang accommodating nya kahit na December 2017 pa yung date namin. She gave me the 2017 rates, and nag-take down notes ng lahat ng kelangan kong quotations na pwede nilang i-send (upgraded styling, ceremony setup). Sinabi ko din sa kanya yung concern ko na i read na yung mga nakikita kong pictures ng styling nila lahat us upgraded so wala akong idea sa ichura ng basic and prices ng upgrades. Lahat ng concerns ko ni-note nya talaga and assured me na they will send an email.

Sabi ko yung ibang caterers hindi ako masyado ineentertain kase matagal pa yung date ko, and sya sabi nya mabuti nga daw na as early as now nagpe-prepare na ko. Plus points talaga na nakaka-gaan ng loob na ganun kaayos yung kausap mo! Parang hassle free and worry free!  For now, abang abang na lang ako ng email nila. Sana nga mag-email!

I agree, super maasikaso ng Passion Cooks AEs. Kampante ka na magiging ok yung wedding mo. Question mga sis. Pag ba packaged with venue, walang pag asa na madagdagan yung cocktails or dessert? Or kahit yung freebies na possible mong makuha if you book them separately sa mga fairs?

Hi mga sis! Nagsend na si Passion Cooks ng email! And yes, lahat ng hiningi ko na nilista, nasend nila! So now I have the rates for 2017 along with pictures (and rates for add-ons) of the ceremony setup, standard backdrops, and standard centerpieces. Judging from the pictures parang okay na din ang basic styling. Kung mag-upgrade man sa ceremony and backdrop na lang siguro.

Napansin ko madaming pages yung PDF file na sinend nila pero yung specific lang na hiningi ko ang sinend. Sa mga gusto mag-inquire i think it's best to send them an email para mabigay kung ano yung need nyo. But feel free to leave your emaill adds and i can forward it to you! @sis mindiegirl, hindi ko natanong if may freebies or any special offer ba sila pag binook sa bridal fair. Ang tinanong ko lang is if everything in their most basic package eh yun din ang inclusions pag venue+catering ang kinuha. But you gave me an idea! Sa next Bridal Fair ill ask kung pano ba mas okay na booking with them

sis mindie, medyo hindi sila mabigay ng freebies as compared to other caterers like josiah's, manila catering, richgold, etc. sa last bridal fair, reservation fee is 10k pesos, which is consumable sa food or styling. ang free nila is choice of 1 among the following: 1 layer naked cake, smores bar for 50pax, bridal bouquet (pick up from paranaque).

wala akong nakuhang libre, pero ok na din, at least may peace of mind ako na di papalpak ang food sa wedding. yun kasi ang nakakakaba and naaalala ng guests.

Anyone here nakapagtry ng FT with Passion Cooks? Kasi before ang napili ko is and gusto ko lang malaman if masarap kaya napili ko and if ever hindi ko magustuhan sa FT if pwede palitan ng ibang dish.

Their standard package usually offers a choice between the cream puff tower or Tiffany chairs.

This depends as well on your venue kasi may venue+catering package (e.g. The Mango Farm).

They are participating in the Bridal Fair at SM Aura this weekend so you may want to visit their booth.

Sila din ang kinuha namin na caterer. Glass Garden + Passion Cooks ang package ko. Until now hindi ko pa din nafafinalize yung menu namin. Actually iibahin ko lang yung pasta and imbis na pork dish, beef dish na lang kunin namin.

Medyo hindi din ako nawow masyado sa desserts nila, except yung Panna Cotta with Caramel Sauce kaya I asked din before si Ms Bonnie kung okay lang, instead na dessert kunin namin, appetizers na lang and she said okay naman. Iniisip ko kasi kumuha na lang ng dessert buffet sa Bizu. Okay lang din naman daw sa Passion Cooks basta may sariling server si Bizu (which is meron naman).

Hi sis wednesdei thanks I enjoy reading your blog. Almost same tayo ng mga dish na natikman. Except we sa soup, pasta, fish and pork. We had
- potato and leek soup masarap sya and not overwhelming
-chicken alfredo with truffle oil try nyo to andarap nya d nakakaumay super bango ng truffle
- grilled peppered fish with 2 dips the mango and tereyaki both good
- beef Salpicao, the beef is so tender nakulangan lang si h2b sa garlic pero sakin sakto lang. Pero we both like it.

Gusto ko try yun soup na natry nyo and the baked salmon next time.

Sis how's ft ? Ilan ft ginawa mo? From the time na nagbook ka at nagft may nabago sa menu na napili mo? Kasi naisip ko if ever na sa ft namin at my dish ako na hindi gusto pwede kaya magbawas sa mga napili ko? Or dapat ifinalize na agad bago palang mag ft?
Napansin ko sis wala ka kinuha na cocktail hours dish sakanila or mali ako?

Hi mga sis, joining this thread. Finally booked PC as our caterer (after 4 FTs with other caterers). 😄

From PC FT experience, they emailed us with proposed list of items for FT (the items are their best sellers) but they gave us option to change items din (they've provided list of alternatives).
Most of the dishes from the FT pasado na sa amin (one of the reasons why we chose PC) and for some that we didn't quite like, we gave feedback. They gave us an option to retain the dish with taste adjusted to our liking or try a different dish for the final FT.

Hi Sisses! Graduate na ako! Woohooo! Here's my review:

Non nego namin ang good food since mahilig kami kumain. And we're super happy dahil lahat ng guests, nasarapan sa food! As in raves talaga na grabe daw sarap. Ang dami ding serving, buffet daw kung sa buffet. Sa 200 guests namin, most of them umulit pa. merong naka 3 ulit pa nga pero di sila naubusan ng food. Sila din ang kinuha namin for crew meals. Busog din naman ang suppliers, sabi nila


Sa styling naman, magaling talaga sila. Pricey nga lang talaga, especially yung mga nakikita nating bonggels na design sa FB page or ig nila. Basic lang yung sa guest tables namin. Nag upgrade lang ako ng VIP tables, pinagawang skirted [textspeak!] chairs nila, and upgrade ng backdrop since lahat ng guests lumapit samin for pictorials.

We also availed shoestring potatoes from Spudbuds. super hit un sa guests pati beef tortilla cone ng PC so d sila nagutom during cocktail hour. pinakain kami ng salad, appetizer and soup sa dressing room during cocktail hour. pero ako, never ako nakaramdam ng pagod or gutom that day. nauuhaw lang ako.

may time na pinakain kami pero d din kami makakain, super nakakahappy kasi panoorin lang yung guests and makinig sa band. yung parang haaaay sulit ang lahat ng pinaghirapan namin.

ang crowd favorite ay yung soup, salad, and beef salpicao. although lahat naman masarap

We had our final food tasting kanina and sadly, di ko pa din bet yung pasta nd beef dish na sinerve kaya sa mock up, may food tasting ulit kami.

For me and tigas nung beef nung beef kebabs and yung bolognese pasta, very ordinary lang. Patok sa amin kanina yung Chicken with herbs saka yung warm apple pie, sarap!
