it really depends on where sa canada kayo mapupunta... hindi lahat ng parts ng canada madaming job opportunities.. yung iba fierce ang competition

pero if you go to toronto, its a different story. dami competition and less job opportunities.

grabe sobrang lost ako ngayon hindi ko alam kung what career papasukin ko sa vancouver. ano ba ang indemand mga sis? kasi admin ang job ko sa pinas mukhang malabo naman na makapasok ako sa same field. so back to zero

My first job here in canada is admin. Pero tough ang competition din kasi in vancouver kasi big city. You can always try coffee shops and fast food and work you way na lang into getting something that you like  in the future.

^^^^ mas maganda siguro kung sa canada ka na mag aral if gusto mo ng admin kasi at least recognized yung school. I started kasi as temporary lang, may nagmaternity leave so kailangan ng magrerelieve, so i applied. On my resume, nilagay ko pa rin of course yung mga previous work ko sa pinas. I-tailor fit mo lang yung resume mo sa job posting. If ang nakalagay sa job posting eh "advanced knowledge in MS Office" lalagay mo sa resume mo na very knowledgeable ka talaga sa ms office and paano mo na-gain yung experince na yun.

Search ka ng mga sample canadian resume kasi iba sa atin syempre.

also, if i want to do the name change, dapat ba lahat ng docs ko will have my new name? ie, police clearance, medical, etc.

last I heard, yung MERCAN. that's the agency my cousin and the gf used to apply here as contract workers. ang alam ko, legit ang mga agency na hinde nag hingi ng mga payments, illegal daw yun.

to avoid confusion, YES! My friend who lives in Surrey got married 2 years ago in the Philippines pero until now, hinde pa nya change to her husband's last name ang last name nya. She said, hinde pa siya willing "let go" yung maiden name nya. so, lahat ng papers nya, SINGLE pa din ang status.

Hi mga sis, I do wanna work there sa Canada, is there any chances na makapag work dyan kahit wala ka relatives or kilala? Are there employers that provide accomodations and such? If not, what usually need starting funds to start a life there?

Most of the workers here (at least here in Alberta) are in the food service industry. If you have experience in this field and are currently employed, you may try to apply in Mercan Philippines.
