If your cousin is PR, he/she can sponsor you for Manitoba Provincial Nominee. Ikaw ang applicant, sya ang sponsor. Google mo na lang yung website.

^thanks sis. kaya lang last year lang sya nagpunta dun. yung isa kong cousin mas matagal na sya dun, call center raw ang work sabi ni mommy, andun na yung dalawa nyang anak. magkano sis ang gastos, both applicant and sponsor, sa PNP?

Doesnt matter kung last year lang sya dumating as long as PR ang status. May work naman sya. If i am not mistaken, 10k cad ang show money. the rest, mga bayad bayad na lang sa application. Check mo sa website ng CIC or MPNP. plus yung pang IELTS.

^yes, of course. Both applicant and sponsor will submit a settlement plan. ay nabasa ko pala, dapat at least 1 year resident in Manitoba ang sponsor. Pero ok lang yun, at least prepare mo na lang muna ang documents.

mga sis nagstart na ako ng pagcomplete ng forms as spouse or family visa kasi yung husband ko is immigrant sa vancouver. ang problem ko lang kasi pinapakuha niya pa ako ng police clearance from uae eh nasa pinas na ako. possible kaya na hindi ko na lang ideclare yung 1 year stay ko sa uae?

^^^marami sis, kung hindi mo nameet siguro yung sa required points or hindi satisfied sa settlement plans. pero don't worry, ang mahalaga, prepared.

^^i won't encourage it. kasi syempre immigration docs yan, nakakatakot to omit facts. marami na rin akong kilala na Filipinos working overseas before sila na-sponsor to Canada and they were able to secure police clearances naman. yes, never lie sa canadian government. jusko!

mga sis OT yata to but i just want to ask kung kelangan ko ba isama yung work experience ko before. it was not on a company/big company kasi. bale computer shop sya and ako ang OIC. i do the minor troubleshooting, software installation and monthly check-up/update of every unit ( 50 units ). sayang naman kasi medyo matagal rin yun and related sa course ko. tia

Hi Girls!

I just wanted to ask, which airline do you usually book pag pauwi ng Manila from Canada?

I'm marrying a Canadian next year (sa Pinas , his family are all in Canada and they've never been to the Philippines, lahat sila first-timers.  I'm starting to complete the "getting there" section of our wedding website for their info para naman maging pleasant and convenient yung trip nila but the thing is, I haven't flown this route yet..  although I googled naman and most of the airlines I found were Air Canada, PAL, Cathay and many Asian Airlines na may stop over.

I posted na this question na rin sa isang wedding forum, and so far, PAL na ang pinaka-convenient.  How is PAL's long haul flight?  Do they have individual monitors in each seat?  How is the food?

Sorry po andami kong tanong but I'm hoping I could get the best answer here since most of you are based in Canada.. hope you can share your experiences, TIA!

^which city in Canada will they be flying from? Vancouver and Toronto has direct flights to Manila using PAL. PAL, i believe is using Boeing 777 so okay naman for long haul. I prefer Boeing planes than Airbus. Sa food, don't expect much. okay na to get by, at least hindi gutom. hehe. May choices naman ata if Filipino food or other, if hindi sila Filipinos.

^^Kami pag umuuwi, importante sa akin na hindi kami dadaan sa US,  yung airline eh maluwag ang leg area, may own TV monitor and maganda ang airport. With those in mind, I usually take Air Canada and Korean Air. Most Air Canada planes has individual TV monitors on each seat, big plus yun for me. I chose Korean Air naman kasi I love the Incheon airport, coz malinis sha, maluwag, maayos, and it doesn't feel congested compared sa Japan. And the play area for the kids is really nice. 

Try to avoid United Airlines, and Delta, dahil super sikip ng upuan.

And since from Montreal kami, and it usually takes us 25 hours to travel to Manila, I prefer 2 stops para makapag stretch.

Japan airlines are always on time, yun lang maganda sa kanila.

I've never tried PAL, but nong pumunta parents ko dito, sa PAL ko sila pinasakay. They didn't like it, masakit daw sa bewang yung upuan. But I really think it's because of the long flight, non stop flight kasi.
