Okay lang yung competitiveness eh. Yung crab mentality ang ayoko. Tapos yung pangmamaliit sa kapwa pinoy.  Dun ako naaasar.

Ako rin nag iba ang ugali ng makapag abroad. Mas nag improve ako. I became more 'wordly' and I am liking it.

My mentor and coach (na ibang lahi) advised me not to mingle with just my kapwa pinoy. Mas mag-iimprove pa daw ako kung makisalamuha ako sa ibang lahi which is true!

Yung tsismis hindi na maiiwasan yan eh. Even other lahi do that. Its all about how you handle na. Example: Kung may nakita ako na kakilala ko and I ask 'Kumusta?' Ang sagot, " Naku alam mo ba si ganito, ganyan, nag ganito ganyan...." I used to answer with an "Oh!" or "Talaga?!" But I learned that saying those eh lalong magchichika yung kausap ko. Eh ayoko nga ng may alam kong mga tsismis LOLS Kaya ang ginagawa ko na lang ngingiti na ako tapos ipo-focus ko ulit yung tanong sa kanya and how she's been. Mind you, it took me years to learn to do that.

I love gossip. Who doesn't?! Andami kayang nakakaintriga sa paligid. Pero yung tsismis pwede ko ng makuha sa facebook dahil kahit doon--ang tsismis, juskoo! LOLs

i guess, lahat naman ng nakakapag abroad nag-iiba. depende na lang sa kanila kung positive or the other way around. for me nag-iba ako dahil sa mga na-experience ko dito, sa mga nakasalamuha ko, at marami pang iba.

mga sis, just want to share ....praise God!!!! may visaa na bro ko. naghahanap na lang ako ng para sa GAP insurance nya...if ever may kilala kayo na nagbebenta ng insurance at alam about dito...pwede paki email number, para makapag inquire ako, requirement kasi ito sa POLO.

Oh yes, mag-iiba nga ang ugali mo pag natira ka sa abroad. In my case siguro for the better. I am now not so mindful sa sasabihin ng ibang tao basta ang alam ko eh di ako nakakasakit at tama ginagawa ko, sige lang. Nakakalabas ng bahay ng walang makeup kasi di naman importante yun. At isa pa, it makes you appreciate your family more since kayo-kayo na lang talaga yung magdadamayan. You will also learn humility, not that I am mayabang, hindi ko gawain yun.... hahahahahh! Pero alam mo yung you easily accept the things that you can and cannot do. It also gives you a clean slate to start life all over again. Parang reset button lang ng buhay.

I think people don't really "change". If they become "mayabang" or whatever when they start living in another country, it was always in them to be that way. Being mayabang, arrogant, chismosa, etc. comes out when people are insecure or have a misguided sense of how to be thankful of what has been given to them.

I sent my application 1st week of feb for SINP without the ielts. not yet sa cio sa sydney ha. will take palang my ielts first week of april. Nako, madelay ang process. kasi nakalagay is "MAY REQUIRE" means may possibility diba. wah, goodluck everyone! lets keep each other updated

I want to migrate to Canada but I don't know where to start. Ask ko lang, mas madali ba ang processing kapag may agency or kaya naman gawin on your own?

5 years ago kasi, nag-inquire ako sa isang agency. Hindi pa daw ako qualified kasi kulang sa points so ang sabi, kelangan ko ng job offer. Meron daw silang website na may job openings pero I have to pay 6k to have access to it. Nung nagbayad na ko, wala naman offers na fit sa qualifications ko and yung agency na nangulit sakin, pagkatapos kong magbayad, parang wala nang pakialam.
Ngayon, I want to try ulit sana. If you can recommend reputable agencies na nakatulong talaga sa inyo, it would be much appreciated. TIA!

mga sis pahelp naman. may kilala/alam ba kayo na nagiisponsor ng workers galing [textspeak!] sa pinas? i tried kasi sa mga agency pero di naman ako qualified. 2yrs front desk/receptionist lang kasi experience ko, layo sa course ko na math with IT. sabi kasi nung friend ko wala na raw masyado nagsponsor ngayon kasi gumagastos pa yung company para dun sa employee. if thats the case willing naman ako na ako yung gumastos o bayaran yung ginastos ng company for me.

gusto ko lang talaga magwork abroad ( especially canada ) para makaipon kasi single mom ako. 4months preggy pa lang ako nung iwan ako ng daddy ni baby though dad ko yung nagsusupport sa baby ko now ( engineer kasi sya abroad ) gusto ko pa rin magwork for my baby.

sana matulungan nyo ko mga sis. may nag offer kasi dito sakin ng help pero i need to pay 500k sa kanya, sya na bahala sa lahat kaya lang tourist visa lang yun tapos ako pa maghahanap ng work pagdating ng canada. di ba parang ang bigat naman ng 500k kung wala naman ako dadatnan na work dun.

^ sis don't ever ever pay 500k just to be a tourist. Ang tourist visa application eh 6k pesos or less lang at hindi yun guarantee na makaka-work ka dito. Have you tried Mercan sa may Rob Galleria? Sa Canadavisaforum andaming nakakuha ng work and visa thru them. Visit that website dami kang makukuhang tips dun sa mga pinoy na nakahanap ng work. Try applying din sa mga websites.

Just so you know, hindi talaga pwede magwork ang naka tourist visa.

hello mga sisses, any tips on how to apply s canada? i have relatives there pero s quebec sila. and the nearest related fam member is my tita. i once applied as caregiver pero i was denied due to lack in T4 on the employer side. afterwhich hindi na ko uli nkpag-apply and continue with my carer as accountant here. but i still i have this gut feeling that my life would be better if i migrate there together with my husband. please help, is there a way? and where should i start. do you know go2canada website?

hello aspiring PNP applicant din po ako.. kaso bandang october pa, wait ko pa kasi yun friend ko na ma-isponsor nya ako... yup per new rules kelangan na ng ielts atleast 4 or 5 po ata un score.. not sure... sa manitoba ka ba sis?
