Tips for Traveling with Baby

^sis mahirap nga iyon , pero try mo mag pa assist. may involve na pera pero I think makakatulong iyon. But if I were you lang, lahat ng luggage namin and the folded stroller ilalagay ko sa push cart (kung yun man tawag don) then si baby lalagyan ko bag strap/child harness, tapos yun push lang tapos may control ka padin kay baby mo.

^^experience ko sa NAIA (forgot anong terminal pero PAL ang sinakyan namin) travelling back to Toronto with my 1 y/o daughter then, nagpatawag ako sa guard ng mag-aassist.... inassist kami nun airport personnel hanggang boarding gate.... sya na pumila sa check-in counter at sa immigration.... binigyan ko na lang ng Php200...

^ yep sis pwede ka naman talaga pa assist sa gang san mo lang gusto, pero syempre alam ko pag may mag assist sayo pati yung pagpila mo special na din ata.

Hope you can share some tips.

First time to travel with a baby outside the country and it was really a lot of work from getting the baby ready and packing. I want to be more prepared the next time.

For me having some disposable inserts for the bottle saved luggage space and saved time from washing bottles. It is also easier to carry around when touring.

Having a stroller and carrier helped too but I prefer the stroller more because the baby can sleep comfortably in a stroller rather than just being carried.

Bring moisturizer because their skin gets dry and they can also get chapped lips.

I remember first time ko magtravel na kami lang dalawa ni baby papuntang Singapore naiyak ako kasi yung baby ko hindi sanay sa stroller at carrier kaya bitbit ko hatak yung luggage bag ko, ang hirap bumalanse sa walkalator. Basta mas maganda para sa akin malapit sa unahan yung upuan yung tipong pangatlo o pang apat tapos bitbit ng toys para malibang kasi yung bata madaling mainip. Tsaka much better bayad ng travel tax through online para hindi pila tsaka mag online check in.

how old is your baby nung first time niya magswim? safe na ba 5 month old magswim sa pool, beach?  Isasama namin si baby sa wedding anniversary gala namin.

^5mos yung son ko n first swim nya sa pool sis pero saglit lang din naman mga 30 mins lang.

^^Baby ko sis 9 mos nung nag beach kami last May. Mas gusto ko kasi sa beach para walang chlorine saka yung ibang pools kasi baka may wiwi.

traveling also soon with my almost 2 yr old son. excited and nervous at d same time. i hope he will be well behaved the whole time in the flight. my son is hindi naman iyakin but is makulit and malikot. mas manageable naman ata magkulit sya kesa magiiyak sa plane hehe. its a 9 hr flight i hope we can survive!

my daughter is 32 1/2 years old now but a month before her 1st bday we went back home to Pinas.  on the flight back to the states,  it was just her and me, oh boy,  what a bad experience that was.  there was no problem with her at all,  she didn't cry nor make any fuss,  such an angel,  she was contented just sitting/sleeping on my lap the whole flight.  the problem was she must have drunk too much milk followed by saltine crackers,  she threw up all over me, like emptied her stomach!  oh boy,  the smell of sour milk permeated the cabin air, hahahahaa. it's a good thing i packed a beach towel,  since i cannot change clothes on the plane, i used that to cover myself with so she didn't have to get in contact with my wet smelly clothes, lol.  the other problem we had was having to get all our luggage by myself for customs and immigration check in LAX.  i had her sit on the baggage cart, on that small compartment holding my purse,  while i gather our stuff.  i had no choice,  but she was such a trooper the whole time,  and mind you she was only 1 year old that time.  we must have been a pitiful sight to some people. 
my tip is,  as much as possible avoid traveling with just you and the baby,  not a good idea at all, everything else is just common sense.

intayin ko na lang din sis magbeach kami para sa 1st swim ni baby. parang ayaw ko sa swimming pool muna until mag 1 yr old siya.
itampisaw ko na lang feet niya  sa pool for now.

^Enjoy sis. True, parang iba lang kasi pag sa pool lalo pag baby pa. Except kung sarili siguro yung pool hehe.

We just came back home from a 3 hour + 6 hour flight. Our 10 month old is such a trooper. Kain, dede and tulog lang. He would babble from time to time but nothing too disturbing to other passengers. WE went swimming sa beach and pool and he seems to like it but sometimes water is quite chilly this time of the year kaya ayaw nya and he is still processing kung gusto ba nya or ayaw nya ang sand. Haha. But overall, he was so good.

I brought both a  carrier and a stroller. It maybe much but I personally it was a good choice so I have options.

Crib was provided by the hotel and the I rented the rest of his gear like car seat, high chair, etc.

Hi mommies. Sorry kung medyo OT.. Baka may marecommend kayong umbrella type stroller. Gamitin lang sana ni baby sa SG trip namin sa March. We already have yung graco na medyo bulky. Hirap humanap ng umbrella type na narerecline. I saw gb pockit sa malls, natutupi sya and kasya sa bag. Pero yung pockit+ na model yung narerecline and wala pang stocks. Medyo pricey din, sayang kung pang travel lang namin gagamitin.
