Mga sisses, gumagawa na ako ng itinerary namin. Sobrang dami ko questions, first time ko kasi to sa HK at sobrang noob ako lalo na sa transportation. Ayoko naman mag taxi lagi kasi tight ang budget. Sana as much as possible, by train or bus lang. Also tama ba yung mga estimated times ko dito? Mid-December yung date ng travel namin. TIA!!

San pinakamalapit na MAC Store sa Yiu Fai? Yung di na masyado lalayo?
= The One & Harbour City, meron din sa Airport.


How to get to the peak from Yiu Fai?
= mtr to admiralty, then exit sa pacific place or HongKong Bank, from there may mga signs na going to Garden Road?peak Tram Station.. or ferry at Ocean Terminal (near the old clock and avenue of stars) to Central.. then from Central Ferry Pier 7, take bus 15 or 15c (forgot, but makikita mo agad yun), it will bring you to peak tram station.

How to get to Peak Tram from The Peak?
= confusing yung tanong mo.. peak tram is yung sasakyan mo to go to the peak at pabalik.

Where to eat na nakakabusog at affordable?
= madami

How to get to Madame Tussauds from Peak Tram?
= pagbaba mo ng peak tram makikita na mo na just before you go to the victoria peak itself.

How to get to Sky Terrace from Madame Tussauds
= escalator going up.

How to get to Symphony of Lights from Sky Terrace?
= same kung pano ka pumunta ng peak. from peak tram station take the bus 15/15c that will bring you to Central ferry terminal then take the ferry to TST.

How to get to Avenue of Stars from Symphony of Lights and How to get to Yiu Fai from Avenue of Stars?
= it's the same area. lakarin mo lang yung kahabaan nun.

How to get to Ocean Park from Yiu Fai?
= mtr to admiralty station. exit b, there's a bus that will bring you to ocean park.

Hi! To those who have brought their toddlers to ocean park, nag enjoy ba mga kids niyo? My daughter is 3 yrs old kasi and ever since she was  a year old,ayaw na niya sumakay sa stroller. So now i can't decide if we will include ocean park in our itinerary or not. Maybe sa next nabalik namin pag 4 or 5 yrs old na siya. Super napagod ba mga toddlers niyo dun? My last visit to ocean park was in 2010 and napagod kami ng cousins ko kasi ang laki ng place. Pero enjoy din naman kasi cute yung panda.  we will be visiting disneyland for 2 days. Now my dillema is whether to go to ocean park or sa next na hk trip nalang namin. Thanks

magkakalapit lang ba yung causeway bay,TST and kowloon?

^sis, tst is in kowloon. Causeway bay is about 3 or 4 mtr stations away from tsim sha tsui. Very convenient ang subway system sa hk.

its good to hear na start na ang winter.. next month na trip namin ng bunso ko excited na sya sa disneyland.. sis totoo bang nagka fireworks accident last week sa hk disneyland? i heard 100 plus daw ang wounded??

where did you hear this? wala namang ganung pangyayari.. di kaya you're reffering to the ferry crash? it's right after passengers watched the fireworks but not hk disneyland's fireworks. but why na-drag ang disneyland? dahil sa "fireworks"?

sis i know yung nangyari sa ferry  hindi yun...accdg lang ito s neighbor namin napanood nya daw
sa news tv (formerly qtv)   instead na pataas yung fireworks sa disneyland sa mga tao tumama...
nagsearch nga ako about dun  wala naman ako makita... hay sana nga di totoo ....
 

moving on ...sobrang lamig na ba sa hk ngayon? so hindi ubra mag shorts at fitflops?
i'm packing na kasi hanggat  maaga para wala ako makalimutan..
sa 21 na trip namin ng son ko... hirap nito sa cebu pac kami walang tube akyat baba na naman bago pa makarating sa plane ...

Hi there! Whats the nearest hotel sa disneyland aside sa hollywood hotel and disney hotel na medyo okay naman. Fully booked na kasi those hotels on christmas.. Thanks

^You can check out Novotel in Tung Chung or Regal Airport Hotel and SkyCity Marriott around Chek Lap Kok (around 10mins by cab)... I believe there are some near the Tsing Yi area. Yung mga Rambler ata. Not familiar with those, though.

Hi sissies! We also booked from Cebu Pac's 10 Peso Fare. It would be our first trip to Hong Kong. Ill be with my husband and 3 year old son. As early as now, I am researching na for the places to go and what  to do para maka tipid. This thread is indeed very helpful for first timers like us!

Anyway, ask ko lang:
1. if possible ba one whole day lang in Macau? Plan to visit all possible tourist spots and balik ng 6 PM to HK?

2. Whole day ba dapat ang Ocean Park or kaya kahit half day lang? I plan to dedicate kasi 1 whole day for Disneyland.

By the way, 4D/3N kami pero early flight pauwi so 3D lang actually.
