^^thanks sis rinrin! Oo nga eh pag hk kami it's either we take the airport express or sa travel agency kami nagpapabook para with transfers na. Kasama ko kasi daughter ko sa next hk trip so mas ok sana kung with transfers na but the travel agencies don't have rates yet for march 2013. Medyo atat mode labg ako. Hehe
Regarding booking.comand asiatravel, my best friend has alreadt tried booking with these two, ok naman daw. 
Hubby and i have stayed at royal pacific in 2008. It's a nice hotel but the premier room was quite small. Enough lang for me and hubby but if you have kids tagging along, i would suggest that you get a bigger room which is the pacific grand room tower wing. It's much spacious compared to the premier room.  but for me,i like marco polo gateway better.  last december, we got the premier room for 1760hkd per night. 3 pax kami sa room.  but now, their rates have gone too high. When i inquired though email, the deluxe room is already 2700hkd per night.that's too much for me.

Mga sis, na interested mag hk and macau, i suggest you do this route: mla-hk, hk- macau, macau-mla, or mla-macau, macau-hk, hk-mla.. Mas sulit siya sa time and money for me.

Hi. Next month, We will be flying to HK. 4 days lang. ok na ba kung 300usd dala ko for pocketmoney? For my food, transpo, and OP ticket and papuntang macau? Iniisip ko kasi kung kakasya, gusto ko sana bumili ng perfume and clothes.

^sis, kung pang ocean park, ferry ticket to macau and food yung 300usd, i think kasya naman. But if you plan to shop, much better if you would bring extra money para di ka mabitin sa shopping. 

Has anyone stayed at the mira hotel in nathan road? It's a 5 star hotel and there's just a little price difference between it and holiday inn golden mile. It looks nice but i'm not sure if it's a bit gloomy inside the rooms because they appear dark in the pics. Any feedback on the mira hotel? Thanks

For me kulang 300usd. Budget meal 50hkd/meal,  so thats 600hkd for 4 meals, last time i went to macau i spent around 350hkd for the ferry RT, then OP i forgot na maybe 400hkd..transpo around hk i generally sped about 50-100hkd per day depending where i am going.

Last march ang exchange was 100usd to 700hkd. Prett sure mas mababa na. I dont know pero i bring extra kasi always, incase i like something or i want to eat somewhere. Remember, mas mahal lahat sa HK

Twice narin namin ginawa yung route na manila-hk then macau-manila. Ayoko kasi magferry ulit pabalik eh nahihilo talaga ako. Hehe
Sis rinrin, yes sis medyo maliit yung premier room pero puwede naman and malinis siya. Kung 3 lang kayo ok narin.

Super excited na ko sa trip ko this December 10. Magkikita kami ng boyfriend ko from Australia for the first time hehe. Medyo kinakabahan pa rin ako sa mga IO. Sana makaalis ako successfully!

Sa Sunday na byahe namin. nakakalungkot kasi yung 2 brothers ko di na makakasama kaya tuloy yung rooms namin sa Disney at GC mukhang over na. hehe Hayyyy... sayang naman. 

Pero excited pa rin naman ako for son's ala slumber party with Mickey dahil sa KC Room. I will post feedback asap. Sunday night po kami dun.

^^oo nga sis, sayang na sayang naman. di na kasi sila bigla makaleave sa work. 

^ yap sis KC room pero 1 night lang naman. Inavail ko yung early bird discount na 20% magbook ka lang 45 days ahead para ma avail mo sya. Actually na engganyo kasi ako sa mga post ng mga sis natin dito about thr KC Room. Naeexcite na ako lalo na pag dadalaw si Mickey Mouse sa room in his pajama.  Sobrang adik kasi son ko kay Mickey. hehe

Got back from a 4day HKG trip with the hubby and our 4 kids to celebrate our daughter's 7th bday.

DAY 1: We took the 1st PR flight out at 8am. Kids enjoyed the arroz caldo at the Mabuhay Lounge for breakfast. Our aircraft was changed from a B777 to an A340 so in a way, it was good since my kids and I occupied the last 2 rows of business class, while I paid for my parents' bulkhead seats in economy. Only the curtain separated us. My youngest daughter kept calling her lolo whenever she saw him. Haha.

Arrived at HKIA around 1030-ish and had our lunch at the Terminal 2 food court. We always carry USD whenever we travel and we have a "suki" na money changer at one of the boutiques at Regal Airport Hotel. Waaay better rate than Travelex. Got 2 blue cabs to Hollywood Hotel for around HKD120ea. Arrived at the hotel at 1pm. Did pre-check in. Paid for 2 park rooms (didn't do kingdom club this time since we were a big group ), 8 2day park tickets & 8 breakfasts at chef Mickey. Check in time was at 3pm but we got to our rooms at 215pm after the kids played at the hotel grounds & playground.

Took the hotel shuttle to the park at 320pm. Did some rides and enjoyed the Halloween festivities, ESP the Glow in the Park Parade. Had dinner at the Main Street Corner Cafe. Not bad at HKD1500 for 5 adults. My kids barely ate though. The park was open till 11pm that night because of the Halloween special. Picked up my daughter's bday cake at Chef Mickey and got drinks to go at Hollywood and Dine.

DAY 2: Had a filling breakfast at Chef Mickey. Didnt need to check out since i paid for everything the previous day. Left our luggage at the storage section. enjoyed the park till 530pm. Got 2 cabs for Regal Airport Hotel and checked into 2 quad rooms. Dinner at Crystal Jade La Mian.

DAY 3: Took the Regal shuttle to Citygate, had breakfast there and headed for Ngong Ping. Twas my first time to visit there with a long line but speedy naman. My prev visit, wala halos tao. Got 8 RT crystal cabin tickets and had a blast with the photo ops.

Slow pacing Lang kami cos of 2 seniors and I still have 2 toddlers. Got back at Citygate at 4pm and returned to the hotel to freshen up. We were out the door again by 530pm. Bought same day return airport express tickets (HKD100 for adults/HKD50 for kids) and got off at Hong Kong station. Took 2 cabs to the peak tram terminus at HKD24ea. Availed of tram and sky terrace RT tickets. Had the obligatory photo op. Stayed at the terrace till 745pm. Since the line for the return trip was long, we had dinner at The Peak Galleria. Be warned about cabbies asking for HKD80 per cab right outside the tram exit! We walked a bit further and got a couple of cabs na by the meter pa rin. Arrived at the hotel at 11pm.

DAY 4: did Citygate from 11am to 1pm, which was still bitin!!! I left hubby and two kids at the hotel. Snagged a pair of flats at Kate Spade at 90% off!!! And got Crocs for my girls and some shirts for me. Took the S1 back to Regal so my daughters can experience the ride.

Bought a pilot's flight bag at 15% off at Terminal 2. PR307 was delayed for almost an hour but the crew made up for the attention they gave my kids. After the meal service was over, one of the stewards even offered them ice cream. My children were too engrossed with the video games onboard, though. The flight had a light load so we were all seated at the main deck, much to my kids' hopes of being at the upper deck again.
