^^I agree with sis rae. 2 days is a bit too early to tell. From personal experience maganda ang skin ko after 2 uses of tret and the peeling starts 3-4 days after, kasama na yung slight redness, etc.

Medyo mas tatapang din ang tret when used with BHA, which is basically what clenziderm is. Observe mo for a few days, ok lang if you alternate sa morning and evening but using them together might be cause for irritation. If resistant ang skin mo, this combo could actually work. See how your skin reacts after a week, tapos adjust your regimen accordingly.msince nabili mo na, better to use it up than put it to waste.

not sure kung resistant ang skin ko dahil first time ko pa lang magtret. ifollow ko na lang muna yung regimen ni derma at observe ko yung reaction ng skin ko. sana magwork kasi i have high expectation sa hoo. thanks po

hi! sa mga sis natin na expert sa tretinoin, ask ko lang, kasi i noticed na madali mag oil up ang face ko when using tretinoin.  I've been using it siguro around 3 months na, nag peel siya ng konti and has some redness, medyo masakit especially when i wipe my face.  I like the result kaso lang parang mabilis mag oily, ganon ba talaga? thanks in advance sa reply.

^ I didn't experience change with the level of oiliness in my skin except when my skin is dry.

Kapag dry yung skin ko, the oil sits on top of it. Imagine oil na smeared on a leather bag. It looks shinier than if the animal was alive

I have a feeling that your skin could be dry kahit wala nang irritation.

ako pang 4 days na gumagamit ng tret. pag gising ko sa morning super oiliness ang nose ko and forehead, tapos hindi ako nag pepeel unlike sa iba. tapos my ng labasan din pimps na my pus but natutuyo lang cya agad.  sana this is it ang kasagutan sa pimple prob ko. hehe

i'm on my 4th day na rin sa tret. di muna ako nag tret last sunday dahil humapdi yung face ko nung nag apply ako ng toner. the next day nakita ko nagpi-peel na sya. i really need to talk to my derma asap, kainis lang nakaleave sya. gusto ko tanungin bakit sya nagprescribe ng salicylic wash at toner kasabay ng tret. di ko kasi kinwestyon yun kasi of all people, sya dapat ang nakakaalam nun

^ I noticed na dito sa atin sa Philippines, aggressive magprescribe ang mga derm doctor.

Like nung ako, kojic soap + antibacterial toner (alcohol based) + clindamycin toner with tretinoin + tretinoin cream na .1%

May acid na, may dalawang tretinoin pa. Tapos alcohol-based pa yung mga toner.

Tapos ang prescribed lang sakin na sunblock SPF15.

Kung yung hindi ka na nga gumagamit ng tretinoin, parang hindi na enough yung spf15, lalo pa kaya yung tret users.

Most of them prescribe a very gentle cleanser tapos tretinoin lang and nothing else. The advise na kung gagamit ka ng salicylic or glycolic acid cleansers and toners, wag daw gamitin simultaneously with tret.

Not to discredit all derm docs here, pero madami, parang hindi ganun ka-expert. O kaya naman, madami, gusto super fast results kasi yun ang ineexpect ng patients.

Tretinoin doesnt work that way though.

oo nga eh, nawawalan na rin ako ng gana sa kanila. ang mahal sa hoo pero dun ako pumunta kasi akala ko okay sila. tapos head pa ata yung derma ko. ewan ko ba. bumili na lang din ako ng cetaphil ko. ang ginagawa ko salicyclic cleanser+toner+tret at night then cetaphil+sunblock sa umaga. baliktad ata yung ginawa ko? feeling ko kasi di natatanggal ng cetaphil yung mga makeup ko eh kaya sa umaga na lang sya.

I'm using 0.1% ngayon, before 0.05% Aside from tret, I'm also using ZO oil control pads and acne drying cream (benzoyl peroxide). But I stopped using tret na muna, super dry na ng face ko at sobrang sensitive na ng skin ko. Will go back to my derma for follow-up check-up tom.

^^ Hello Mikasa, nung una, sinunod ko kasi binili ko na lahat ng products from them. So inubos ko lang. Pero nung kalahati na yung kojic soap, hindi ko na talaga kaya, sobrang hapdi and sobrang red na nung jaw area ko, na kahit hawakan ko lang with my fingers, sobrang hapdi na. Imagine, pinag-10% TCA pa ako nun.

Nakalimutan ko pala sabihin na may Hydroquinone din yung prescription ko.

Nung natapos ko na yung set na nabili ko, ang binili ko na lang ulit, yung CHAT 2% (clindamycin, hydroquinone, alum, tretinoin solution).  Yung tretinoin ko, sa Watsons pharmacy na lang ako bumibili. Tapos wash, kahit anong gentle cleanser. Mostly, cream cleansers or cleansing milk or physiogel.

Kapag sobrang tindi ng breakouts (due to stress) dun na lang ako nag-t-toner (either CHAT 2% or VMV Superskin 3 na clindamycin and tret solution).

oh okay. grabe pala yung nangyari sayo. buti hindi nagkaron ng discoloration yung jaw area mo. hirap na rin pala magtiwala kahit sa derma na mismo.
tinuloy ko na gamitin si salicylic cleanser ko pero hinay lang sa toner. iba kasi ang feeling sa cetaphil, parang inaabsorb nya yung tret kaya napapadami yung apply ko.

may kilala akong maxipeel ang gamit. ang ganda ng skin nya, mukhang poreless.

Hi, naubos ko kasi yung RDL # 2 after 1 1/2 months of using. May slight purge nung una and peeling sa may cheeks, pero dahil oily ako nawala rin agad yung pag peeling. May mali ba ako sa pag gamit ng RDL? Naubos ko kasi yung bottle eh. Continue ko pa ba or stop na muna  ako? Wala pa kasi improvements sa pimple marks ko e. Ano suggestion niyo mga sis? Thanks!

Im using stieva .01 % for 3 weeks now. I notice Im
Not peeling anymore and oily na lalo na pag gising sa umaga. Does it mean its not working to me anymore? What should i do? Thanks

^ It means your skin can tolerate tret and it's well adjusted to the faster skin turnover.

Hi Sis, ako stop muna with Tret cream cause I'm using other products right now (but I'll go back after a month). But when I was using it, yes pati neck nilalagyan ko. May nabasa din ako na some users pati upper chest area nilalagyan din. Kasi di ba anti aging product din siya so para ma delay din aging ng skin sa neck and chest area.

Hi.I hope may sumagot nito.Is it ok to use tret kahit minimal pimple lang? Gusto ko lang kasi ma even-out skintone ko,tapos ma-lessen yung oiliness at ma-minimize yung pores.TIA!
