hi sis. my suggestion not to change anything (hotel/flight booking) was under the assumption that you preferred savings.

now, because of your reply na gusto mo ring i-maximize ang trip, i can share with you kung ano ang tingin ko diyan, BUT you will indeed incur more costs.

last year i treated my family to a Singapore trip (as in gastos ko lahat), and since i knew na "once in a lifetime" (using your words) ko lang sila matre-treat abroad, talagang tinodo ko na. kasi nga i wanted to maximize the trip. 6D/5N kami sa Singapore kasi ayaw ng parents ko ang haggard na bakasyon, "chillax travelers" kasi kami. hindi ako nag-waldas ng pera ha, pero hindi din ako nag-skimp sa budget. almost 170K siguro ang ginastos ko for a family of four adults for 6D/5N.

so ano ba ang point ko? hehe. hindi ko sinasabing gumastos ka ng ganun kalaki. rather, ang advice ko sayo (that you may wish to consider) is this: contemplate on how much you are willing to sacrifice to add to your budget to make your SG trip with your family a more enjoyable stay. after you contemplate on that, saka ka makaka-decide whether to just let things as it is or to extend and rebook. kasi ikaw talaga ang makakapag-weigh niyan kasi budget mo yan. happy to help!

Hi sis wishful2010, zoo is very far from the city. normally this will take a whole day tour.
if u really want to go to zoo pwede mo sya ireplace sa Legoland.

Kung ayaw mo i-let go ang legoland, night safari will do.

If you find ur IT as tiring, maybe you really can consider re-booking your flight para mas madami kayong time at hinde haggard ang Singapore experience nyo.

Sis wishful2010, you might also want to take into consider your son's stamina. My cousin went to SG and Legoland with her husband and 3y/o son. But that's a relatively smaller child she can carry around when he gets tired. I suggest going to the Zoo na lang and MBS, if kaya pa, Gardens. City tour, not so much, baka di naman maenjoy ng anak mo.

You can also consider these:

1. Flyer (30 mins lang)
2. Duck tour
3. Night Safari - depending on how you want to spend first day, if di kaya na Zoo, pwede na din to. Maganda din naman siyang experience

Hi sis wishful2010, 4 days in SG is short but doable. Yun nga lang you'll have to give up some attractions talaga.

Kung sa tingin mo is matagal ka pa makakabalik ulit ng SG and want to make the most out of it, I suggest magparebook ka na kesa magsisi ka pa. Why not include the sat and sunday kung magpaparebook ka na din naman? Kung hindi din naman nagkakalayo ng price?

You can try to save on other things. Look for discounted attraction tickets, bawasan ng konti ang budget for shopping (since medyo mahal din naman dito) and the likes .

When my family visited halos 12 days sila dito (w/ Malaysia) pero nabitin pa daw haha. Good luck and happy trip!

Hi there! Help pls. We're already booked in a hotel from Feb25-March1. Kaso sa  pagmamadali siguro, I wrongly pressed our departure time so dating namin sa SG 1AM ng Feb26 na , if I change the booking, that will be additional PHP7k. Sayang ba ng 1day of Feb25 if I dont rebook? I'm confused! I'm with my husband and 5y.o son so dapat maayos ang IT namin. TIA!

Here's what I initially drafted if won't rebook:
Day 1 (bale Feb26 na) - city tour/ shopping, Gardens, MBS, Zoo
Day 2 - Legoland
Day 3 - USS + Sentosa
Day 4 - 10-2PM shopping, 3PM airport

I think we would be missing the food trip side and a little relaxing time which can be enjoyed with additional one day, what do you think? Would love to hear from you.

i suggest let go of USS na lang since 5yo pa lang kid mo. he'll enjoy legoland more lalo na you have a boy.  marami kasing rides sa USS na di nya pa pede ng sakyan. tapos sayang naman for you and hubs kung di din kayo makasakay kasi walang maiiwan sa bata.  we only fully enjoyed USS with my daughter when she turned 6yo.  and she's tall for her age kaya nakasakay na sya sa mga rides na dati di nya nasasakyan.  we've been to legoland too and mas enjoy talaga ng bata ang legoland.
kung gusto mo talaga ng zoo, yun na lang ipalit mo sa legoland day nyo. 6hrs in the zoo i think is good enough. yun eh kung mag-view lang kayo ng animals. merong maliit na water playground sa zoo, kung mag-playground pa kayo, addl 2hrs pa siguro yon.  then tsaka kayo mag-sentosa. mas ok ang sentosa sa bandang hapon/gabi lalo na kung mag-songs of the sea kayo.

Legoland is on the toplist since this was what triggered our SG trip, hehe. And takot pa anak ko sa mga rides, so other attractions will need to be considered too, kahit nga sa star city, sayang lang entrance tickets namin. will update you po I want to make this memorable for my two boys. I've been to SG 3x but that was more than 5yrs ago and it's all about work, ngayon pleasure naman.

^sis, my friend and her family stayed at pillows and toast in chinatown. Ok naman daw. It's very clean and cheap lang daw. But she said you have to share bathroom with other guests.

hawkers ba nasa chinatown? maraming kainan dun? how to get there via mtr? from orchard?

^There's a chinatown station via the purple line MRT.  So Orchard (red), alight at Douby Ghaut station and transfer to purple line towards Chinatown MRT.

^ pwede na den yan sis kasi normal fare pwedeng umabot ng 10K plus RT/pax ...pero kung good promo, pwedeng makakuha ng P4,500, onti lang naman ang difference...

Question: ...mga sissy's by 2nd week of April, ang Cebu Pacific kaya sa Budget Terminal or sa may Changi?? the last time kasi na nag punta ang parents ko sa SG last year coming from KL via Air Asia hindi daw sila sa Budget Terminal

^ Airasia operates on T1 naman kahit pa nung merong budget terminal, ang alam ko closed na for good ang budget terminal to make way for Terminal 4.

Why not try jetstar or Airphil?  Mas mura sha for me kaya doon ako lagi nag bobook.  I always find cebu pacific, less relaxing and more expensive than jetstar or Airphil.

^Actually sis, nagmock booking ako.  Yung 8,100PHP is without baggage pa.  Modesty aside, I have never ridden Cebupacific since I was assigned here in SG kasi i always find jetstar or Airphils mas mura whenever I try to check the three airlines for flights.
