magkakaiba ba ang night safari, river safari and singapore zoo? pwede mo ba sya puntahan lahat in 1 day? or magkakalayo sila? if ever, i'm choosing between night safari or river safari, which is better kaya?

^same location but yes they're different. river safari is not yet open. better to go to the zoo IMO than night safari.

minnie99 nothing to be scared of if this is not your first time to travel. normally ganyan ang mga immigration officers if mga first time travelers (walang tatak ang passports) and pag napagsususpetchahan na maghahanap ng work here in SIN. Just be confident with your answers and you'll be okay.

Wheew! After 48 years saka lang ako nakapag gt ulet. Will going to singapore next week and sobrang cramming ang preparation.

Whew. Thanks mga sis. Panic mode lang ako kahit malayo pa. Those were my thoughts exactly, yung friend ko first time na pupunta siya dapat ng Singapore di siya nakaalis dahil sa letter of invitation (may kulang daw), sobrang nasayang lahat ng binayaran nya na fees. Bakit ba kasi nagbabayad muna bago pumasok sa immigration? Haha.

So excited! We'll be visiting the zoo first day na lang... Sentosa 2nd day... then last day mall. Which mall should we visit ba? I'm thinking VivoCity, Esplanade, Funan (electronics kasi, though is it worth it?), or Orchard na lang? We have a two-hour time constraint so baka cross na yung Orchard since it will take us 30 minutes at most to get there, we'll be coming from HongKong Street.

I'm thinking of getting an iPad mini, sana stable na stocks by then. OR a new camera (Canon EOS M) pero mukhang mas possible yung iPad haha. But I also want to visit Charles & Keith. :| Meron ba nun sa VivoCity?

^ Take into consideration that malls open around 11 am pa.
Funan will be a good bet if you want to buy a camera.
Charles and Keith you can find in most malls, Vivo City/Orchard area included.
If you're going to Funan, you can go to Raffles Shopping Centre, it's the mall near the City Hall MRT.

^^hi sis bluestocking. really? they open at 11am pa? The last time I was there, we arrived at 313 at 9:30 and we had to wait 30 minutes lang naman. or baka depende sa shop? Kasi 313 was open naman when we got there but some shops opened at 10.

hi sis, thanks sa inputs! i saw reviews nga na ang haba lagi ng queues sa night safari and lucky enough if the animals will come out pa. if sa zoo, can we still go there maybe late afternoon? may makikita pa kaya kame? if we will be at the airport at 1pm, so maybe mga 2 na kame makakalabas then deretso pa kame sa hotel in bugis to check-in and leave our baggages. after that, tsaka pa lang kame pupunta sa zoo. yan sana ang itinerary namen.

^sis, I'm planning our itinerary din; i've also been to singapore zoo many times na. alanganin yun since 6pm nagcclose yung zoo. if you are still going to hotel that will probably take 30 minutes if there's a shuttle, then you'll probably leave the hotel by 3pm, 3:30 na makakarating earliest sa zoo siguro. baka di niyo makita lahat ng magagandang attractions doon.

yummieyomi, going to singapore zoo ng medyo late is not feasible kasi you need atleast 4hrs para maikot ang zoo and to do stuff like animal feeding and some shows also.

^^I like the zoo more because quality photos ang makukuha ko, haha! I love taking photos. Pero IMO mas madali libutin ang Night Safari, but...I haven't been to the Night Safari since 2008 eh. Pero kung yun lang swak sa schedule niyo, okay na din. The night setting makes it kind of exciting and eerie---like you don't know what's going to jump at you (though wala naman, hehe. Once, nasa gilid ako ng tram and may deer na malapit, I got so excited).

thanks minnie99 and Grayce! if that so, maybe i should change our flight time to early morning para makahabol pa sa zoo. if hindi na talaga pwede, no choice but to visit night safari instead.

Hi there! Help pls. We're already booked in a hotel from Feb25-March1. Kaso sa  pagmamadali siguro, I wrongly pressed our departure time so dating namin sa SG 1AM ng Feb26 na , if I change the booking, that will be additional PHP7k. Sayang ba ng 1day of Feb25 if I dont rebook? I'm confused! I'm with my husband and 5y.o son so dapat maayos ang IT namin. TIA!

Here's what I initially drafted if won't rebook:
Day 1 (bale Feb26 na) - city tour/ shopping, Gardens, MBS, Zoo
Day 2 - Legoland
Day 3 - USS + Sentosa
Day 4 - 10-2PM shopping, 3PM airport

I think we would be missing the food trip side and a little relaxing time which can be enjoyed with additional one day, what do you think? Would love to hear from you.

^sis, ako ang opinion ko, wag mo na galawin ang hotel booking and flights, ok na yan. don't cancel feb25 kasi pagdating ninyo ng feb26 at 1am, at least may tutulugan na kayo, di ba? you just have to email the hotel of your arrival time para hindi nila i-consider na no-show. kasi kung ipapa-cancel mo yung feb25 na hotel, 2pm ka pa maka-check-in, eh wala naman kayo mapupuntahan ng madaling araw.

(nangyari din yan sakin sa Indonesia trip ko, exactly sa nangyari sa inyo. nagkamali ako ng click ng date sa flight booking sa sobrang excited, hehe )

Thank you meimei. I won't be cancelling the Feb25 hotel booking anymore. What I'm thinking is to change my flight to be in SG at 9:40AM of Feb25 instead of Feb26 morning na yung start namin. I'm thinking yung magagawa ng 1day pa sana, pero nanghihinayang din ako sa 7K na rebooking fee. Hmm, wag na nga lang no?

Antagal kong comparing cebu pac and tiger airways, so excited kasi 4K cheaper yung nakuha kong Tiger. Then now, if i rebook, mas mahal ako ng 3K. huhu. parang gusto kong iuntog yung ulo ko hehe. Plus di ko alam kung may overnight parking sa terminal 1 dito sa NAIA, unlike Terminal 3.

^I suggest do not cancel as what meimei said, since 1AM of feb 26 ang dating nyo, you can go directly to your hotel to rest para by 6AM of feb 26 makapamasyal kayo.
