Got an email from Amazon to update my Kindle.  Takes awhile for the updates.

my kindle keyboard got broken. mga mag-iisang dekada na rin naman siya sa akin. so now i'm forced to read on my tablet and i think my eyes are getting worse because of it huhu.
okay ba kindle 7th gen? bakit parang mas mahal siya kesa sa kindle fire kay nelson krx?

I think my Kobo Glo just gave up on me. It won't turn on anymore. Huhu.

I'm trying out Kindle through the app at first and thinking of ways to send files to Kindle kasi I'm considering buying one. I tried BookDrop but I can't seem to get it to work. The easier way I found is this site http://www.sendepubtokindle.com/.

Hassle kasi mobi files. Books ko kasi are all on epub. I rarely use my PC kaya bihira ako makakapag-Calibre.

I'm really considering buying a Kindle na. Sana mas matibay siya compared to Kobo Glo. I had my Kobo Glo for almost three years, three years sana siya this August.

Though I'm confused if I would get the base Kindle muna or the Paperwhite na agad. P2000 price difference rin kasi kay Nelsonkrx.

Any inputs? Salamat

Im using the Kindle Paperwhite and satisfied naman ako.
What I like about this:
1. Easy to transfer ebooks
2. User friendly controls
3. Lightweight
4. Long battery power (takes me 2-3 weeks to charge; average of 2-3 hours everyday reading).

^ thanks for that link to send epub to kindle! Pag tamad ako mag caliber sa desktop, i used to use kindle-box from dropbox but lately, it doesnt seem to be working anymore.

And i also really love my paperwhite. I dont feel eye strain when i read even in the dark. I always bring it with me. caliber is my main mode to transfer books to my kindle is via caliber so i usually do that weekly lang in batches. but thanks to that link you gave, i can now do it ad hoc. That link reads files from dropbox also so that's a big plus. Aside fomr caliber, i also have all my books in dropbox. 😊

I like my Paperwhite better than my older Kindle. Sa Paperwhite kasi may built-in light na kaya kahit sa dilim nagagamit ko sya. Sulit yun 2k na price difference for me.

^^sis geleast, I use Calibre eversince because of its convert function. Since you know your way around it, di ka mahihirapan.
Value for money ang Paperwhite like what our other sisses mentioned here.

I still feel sad sa Kobo Glo ko. Sana hindi ganun kabilis masira si Kindle.

Yes, I'm quite familiar with Calibre na rin since I use it to convert files. Sana hindi nga ako mahirapan mag adapt from a Kobo to Kindle.

Around $120 sya sa Amazon! And you can transfer ebooks mobi format to your kindle by sending it to your @kindle email and then i connect to wifi. Super sulit ang kindle for me!

Gelaest, if you're buying direct from amazon, will you use a forwarder to have it sent here? Some, like johnny air, have a surcharge for gadgets and electronics. When i got mine a while back, i compred amazon+forwarder vs nelsonkrx. Same lang kinalabasan so i opted to get from nelsonkrx. 1st gen paperwhite pa yan, i paid 9k thereabouts with a kindle case na.

Hi clueless, if direct from Amazon I was thinking of LBC Shipping Cart to ship it here. Pero around 2 weeks shipping time daw yun. Kay Nelson sabi niya by Monday may darating na stocks for Paperwhite.

Baka unit na lang kunin ko kay Nelson kung sakali. I like a different case kasi, yung Fintie or the NuPro Grip Cover.
