I had my paperwhite skinned din. Though dito ko lang pinagawa cos kuripot ako. Pinagawa ko sa Laptop Skin manila ako nagbigay ng design though. Nasa 500 lang. Hahahaha. And for my case rin, I got a TPU cover from US. And a cute pouch custom made for kindle sa thimblecap.com

^ I have a Kobo Glo (I'm guessing they're similar) and all my books (Epub type) are sideloaded. I just put the books in the root folder of the memory card.

^sis okay lang ba ang kobo? i had a nook kaso naupuan ng baby ko ayun nasira na so i am planning to buy a kobo kasi atleast me support sya dito sa pinas since partner na sila ng national bookstore. Di pa nga lang ako nakakapag canvass, how much ba sya sa bookstore? or mas mura pag sa net bumili? thanks thanks!

^ Hi sis, I actually have no other reader to compare the Glo to since it's the only one I've owned. I have owned an iPad mini but it sits in another category basically.

But reading experience wise, I really love it to bits. It just feels like I am reading from an actual book. No issues with sideloading books, simply copy and paste to the root folder of the memory card.

I have owned it since August and no issues so far. I bought it at Gadgetpinas (around Php 6,400 I think), it was not yet available in NBS that time.

Any specifics you would like to ask? Para I can address your concern better.

about the kobo I owned the kobo mini for a while. I liked it too especially the interface yung medyo I didn't like was how sensitive it was and how the bookmarked pages don't stay and maneuvering it was a bit flimsy, but it could be a glitch lang sa programming, and the fact that it was too small for my hands eh it wasn't comfortable for me to use. pero no problem sa pag sideload ng books sana nga nook's interface was similar like kobo's like all the books your reading shows up in the home screen.

finally got myself a real ebook reader. bought nook color to one of our sisses here in gt. really happy with it. nahirapan lang ako maghanap ng casing. ang mahal nung iba sa sulit!!

hello! whats a good sleeve for Samsung note 8? I already have a cover but I wanted a slip or sleeve for it, since the cover I have is white.

I ordered the Kindle Paperwhite from NKRX at ebay, and it was such a breeze. Ordered last Tuesday, transferred funds via BPI mobile, and viola, got it today already. I ordered skins at decalgirl.com as well which should arrive by March 5 Happy camper

to kobo owners...questions lang.  pagnaka-off ba talaga eh kala mo naka-on pa din coz may pic pa din na nakadisplay??  and everytime i switch pages...ganon talaga?? new owner din ng kobo.

^ naka-ON siguro yung "show current book cover" mo sa settings (Light, sleep, and power category). Ganun din kasi yung sa akin (kobo glo). Pero choice ko naman yun. Pwede mo naman I-uncheck kung ayaw mo siya.

meron bang App sa ipad na pwede mag basa ng book na di nakaka strain sa mata? sakit sa mata ng ibooks eh. nakita ko minsan someone is reading a book na black yung background. thanks!

^May setting sa iBooks. Go to yung may "aA" then meron ka makikita na White, Sepia and NIGHT. Yung Night yung black yung background.

Ako sa iphone ko pa din ako nagbabasa ng mga ebook ko feeling ko ang kawawa ko masyado. hehe now ko lang nabasa etong thread na to pag napapadaan kasi ako ng national bookstore di ko pinapansin yung kindle kindle na yan kasi my ibooks naman ako na pwede ko pag basahan kaso minsan parang gusto ko sa libro na magbasa kasi medyo maliit kaso ang gastos kasi pag bumili ako ng libro mismo kaya ebook lang.. parang naengganyo tuloy ako bumili ng sariling tablet para sa mga ebooks ko. hehe!  (At kailangan ko pa mag-ipon para dyan..HAHAHA!)

Anyone who uses an amazon cover for their kindle?

I have a paoerwhite with an amazon cover. Para syang smart cover ng ipad - turns off when you close, powers up when you open. It has a magnetic closure. Due to wear and tear, i think medyo loose na yung magnet ko and sometimes it doesnt power off the screen when i close it.

Does anyone experience the same? Ganon talaga siguro ano?

^i did, but i only used it for a short while kasi. i found it added signifant weight to my paperwhite, so i didn't use it na. i just had my paperwhite skinned and then i had a custom leather case made for it.
