Yung pinakamurang Kindle lang yung sakin. Ok na sakin basta E-Ink. May eye problem na din kase ako kaya cancel ako sa mga may backlight, lalo na matagalan talaga ko magbasa.
Super love ko yung kindle ko, part na siya ng buhay ko hahah at ang tagal pa ng battery life.

Meron bagong Kobo ebook reader. It's called Kobo Aura HD, about .8" bigger than a Kindle Paperwhite, high resolution display and $40 more expensive than the Paperwhite. Pero mukang wala pang nagbebenta dito.

My Kindle 3 (Kindle Keyboard) died. I went and buy the battery kit and installed it myself. Pretty easy. And I got my Kindle 3 resurrected and back to it's former glory. So love the e-ink screen.

had it bought by a friend sa bestbuy.  hindi kasi sya marunong mag-amazon.  hehe.
same lang ba warranty pag hindi direct sa amazon.com binili?

gift ni hubby sakin ton kindle fire hd ko nung bday ko last nov. gamit na gamit ko siya kaya si hubby tuwang tuwa kahit mejo expensive siya ok lang daw kasi nga na susulit ko.

Hi mga sis, question. May way ba para mailipat yung mga napurchase ko from Amazon to iPad? Or need ko talaga ng Kindle na app? Gusto ko kasi sana lahat ng libro e sa ibooks nalang.

If you bought the ebooks from Amazon, then you'll need to remove the DRM first, and then convert the .azw file to epub before transferring to your iPad.

You'll need Calibre for the first two tasks. You can find out how to remove DRM here: http://www.howtogeek.com/162994/how-to-strip-the-drm-from-your-kindle-ebooks-for-cross-device-enjoyment-and-archiving/

Once done, you can simply drag and drop the ebooks to the iBooks app using iTunes.

That's what I did.

Hello mga sis! may naka try na ba na nadamaged ang kindle under warranty? na damage [textspeak!] screen ko but amazon sent a replacement already. do i have to return the damaged kindle considering walang ups drop off sa location ko?

Hello po mga sisses. I am a traditional book lover and gusto ko ng mag upgrade to e book "coz di ko na alam saan dadalhin ang mga paperbacks ko. Kahun kahon  na hehhe. 

Kaya lang,problem ko lang po is my eyes , medyo nahihilo ko kapag ang tagal nakakatitig sa comp screen. Can you recommend a brand which will not cause too much strain in the eyes?

^any e-ink device. you can backread a bit, there are a lot of brands mentioned already.

^^ I think any e-ink reader will be good for you sis. kasi para ka talagang nagbabasa ng actual book sa kanya.  the letters and background are not irritating sa eyes.  pili ka na lang if you want one with backlight for night reading or wala.

I have the B&N Nook w/ GlowLight kasi I like reading at night din.  I chose Nook over PaperWhite kasi tamad ako mag-convert ng ebooks ko na naka-ePub lahat.  But maganda review din ng PaperWhite.  Ang ayaw ko lang sa GlowLight ko madali ma-scratch yung surface so nag-bleed na sya. sa simula irritating pero nakasanayan na din.  if i'll upgrade, im eyeing Kobo Aura HD.  ganda ng review sa kanya eh.

I switched recently from iPad to Cherry mobile Fusion bolt. Hirap na hirap kasi ako sa iPad ang laki laki ang bigat at di handy. hehe! So far okay naman ang performance nya. Puro ebooks lang talaga ang laman.

I'm torn between three lovers este options pala...hihi...

my prs-600 has vertical line na wala naman siya sa warranty since 2008 ko pa nabinili.

i don't know what to do...kung i-open ko siya at mag-a-ala-technician ako OR hahayaan ko na lang masira since nagagamit ko naman yung bluefire sa Note2 at iBooks at Kindle ng iPod touch OR magreresearch na ako ng new ereader kung sakaling iwan na ako nito.

i have been thinking of getting a kindle paperwhite. i recently just held one irl, my friend showed me hers. i'm convinced na. but the one with ads is cheaper than the one without. i think the ads come out lang when you're connected to the internet. di naman storbo or nakakairita?

i inquired from a local reseller pero wala pang stocks. i wanted to get direct from amazon but my forwarder, pobox, advised against sending it thru them kasi mainit daw sa US customs. i haven't called JAC to ask if pwede sa kanila.

i hope i can get my hands on one by the end of next month.

^I have one with ads - they are not intrusive at all. If you don't want to see ads, turn off wifi.

The ads are usually about Kindle book deals, so if you often look for book deals on Kindle, it might even be useful for you.

I bought from Amazon directly, and had it shipped through JAC. This was back in April, or earlier, I think. I paid a total of around P1500, if memory serves me correctly, but that was because I had also ordered the Amazon cover.

It might come out cheaper if you're buying just the PW itself.

I love my Kindle 4. I can't leave home without it. But I am thinking of getting Paperwhite para pwede ako makapagbasa sa gabi. Ang bilis kasi maubos ng battery ng reading light ko. Not sure kung may stock kay sis k s v where I got my Kindle din.

Sis clueless, mas makakamura ka if you buy sa resellers here than directly purchasing it sa Amazon then pa-JAC mo pa. May bayad din kasi sa JAC aside from their usual charges pag electronics ang binili mo. Yung ibabayad mo sa JAC pwede mo na pambili ng cover and screen protector.
