Hahaha...just read...its developed for tv pala by the GG show runners....sana it wont suffer the same fate of GG...

But i love carrie and her crazy curls....wait ...but hey didnt put jp's nunal....hahahha

Finally watched the pilot episode and it was put together so well, I think. I wasn't feeling Anna Sophia Robb at first, couldn't picture her as Carrie Bradshaw, and I thought she was gonna be Disney cheesy. She was pretty good. And I like the story so far. High school drama, but very relatable. I mean, to someone who's over high school, it's not corny to watch. I especially like the music, since it's the kind of music I grew up listening to!

I haven't seen ratings yet. The data may come out in an hour or so. But because the network where it airs has already lost Gossip Girl, they need a show like Gossip Girl to become relevant (and earn $ hehe). The Vampire Diaries, on the same network (their hit series), is losing steam na rin, so they will look to a new show as their banner show. So, based on that, I'd say, it would be foolish not to pick up The Carrie Diaries for a full season.

i watched the 1st epi, OK naman it has a different flavor from SATC, i think ang market nito ay hindi ang avid fans ng SATC kase wala talaga akong nakitang similarity, iba yung boses ni Ana SOphia Robb, wala silang something in common ni SJP.pero maganda yung 1st epi. parang nagamit nila lahat ng famous 80's song so medyo nagaalalala ako doon.

i enjoyed the first episode and i am a fan of SATC. i know there are a lot of differences between the two and may article pa sa yahoo na ibang-iba ang story. sa series kasi carrie's dad left them while sa carrie's diaries eh hindi. well, simple lang explanation. this new series series is based on the book by candace bushnell while yung satc-tv series especially yung later seasons na eh wala na dun sa book na satc.
iba talaga sila because the carrie here is still not the carrie in satc. we are to watch how she became like that.
i like annasophia. ok sya....
sana talaga hindi maging parang gossip girl na paikot-ikot na lang yung story. then in the end, sila lang din ng ganun ganun na lang.

I enjoy watching this, feel good show lang hindi mabigat yung mga drama though at times I find it boring

^ sis, sa eztv.it madali madownload. actually, lahat ng series dito ko dina-download for free.
i'm really enjoying the series. even though i'm way past their concerns right now, makakarelate ka pa rin kasi nadaanan mo yung pinagdadaanan nila. i'm also seeing how they relate this carrie with the carrie that we already know. for example last episode, carrie took care of her friends like what she always does in satc.
