Passport Thread 9 - Check first page for DFA's Website

^oo naman sis. birth certificates have no expiration. unlike nbi clearance, driver license etc. basta orig copy from nso and readable. kaya lang they will get the original kaya kung isa lang ang copy mo and you submit it, kukuha ka ulit sa nso pag kailangan mo for something else let's say visa application etc.

ah ok. so nso na lang pala ng marriage contract kukunin ko. thanks sa info.

BTW, mahirap ba kumuha ng appointment sa net. kasi nag check ako until Dec 2013. No available na lahat ng dates or Thru phone ako mag papa appointment?

sis, paano pala yun, kase si daughter ikukuha ko din ng passport, kelangan din ng MC namin, so bale 3 kunin ko? para reserved yung isa ko? si hubby di na naman need, kase renewal lang naman. thanks.

hello! ask ko lang.. nagpa schedule ako sa megamall ng family appointment.. required for married woman yung marriage cert.. same with my 11 yr old son.. need ko ba ng 2 copies ng marriage certificate .. one for me and one for my son.. or pede na 1 lang? thanks

sabi sa dfa website, need pa daw ng 15 day clearing period para sa pagprocess ng lost & valid passport.

ano naman kaya ang icclear nila doon? got my passport last sept 2011 and "nawala" ko ito this year. im planning to get one since gusto naming magtravel. sa tingin niyo mga sis they will still check the reason if how i "lost" my passport?

Mas maganda sabay kayo para di magastos. Kasi ako  sabay kami kumuha ng daughter ko ang hiningi lang sa aking  birth certificate, MC, NBI (all original copy) and photocopy ng ID ko. Sa daughter at son ko birth certificate nila na original, then  MC namin ni hubby na photocopy.

TIPS:

Bring photocopy of birth certificate, MC, ID para kung ano man ang hingiin sainyo meron kayo ilalabas. Hindi na kayo rush na magpapa photocopy ng docs.

sis Neneng _bee thanks sa tips and info ha,so pwede pala sabay na lang ang processing. how about regarding yun marriage contract magprocess ako ng renewal ng eldest ko then first time to have a passport yun youngest ko, so i have to have 2 original copy ng MC ko? kailangan ba ng NBI clearance or pwede other governmennt id's like PRC,sss, or driver's license ok na?       sana magreply po sana kayo cause it will help me a lot sa pagprocess ng passport ofw kc husband ko and gusto niya ayos na lahat pagdating niya,,, bossy po [textspeak!] pero ok lang  basta sa kanya namn budget

Question po, can I renew my passport na ba kahit July 2014 pa yung expiry? I want it to be changed to ePassport na sana kasi.

Naloka ako upon checking my passport last night, less than 6 months na lang pala sya, eh paalis na kami sa Sunday for a family vacation.
Ayun,buti na lang,nahabol ko kanina, napa-extend ko for another 2 years yung validity ng passport ko. Pero while at the DFA, nag-apply na din ako ng E-Passport. All in all, it takes me less than an hour.

wow paano mag pa extend ng passport sis??? kasi we just realized na less than 6 months na ang validity ng passport ng BF ko, eh may SG trip kami sa December 5-9   hindi ko alam kung aabot pa kami sa renewal eh 2 weeks yun rush processing =(

^Sis,may 7 days lang na processing. Abot pa yung bf mo!he!he!
Yung sa akin kasi, nadiscover ko ng Thursday night yung expiry date,pero ang trip namin ay Sunday na. ha!ha!ha! Parang 2 days to go na lang.
Successful naman, dito na kami ng family ko sa vacation.
Pag extension ng validity ng passport sis, kailangan sumulat dun sa DFA director.Bale,iba yung process.
Check mo sis yung mga blogs nina awesomeplanet,yugatech,etc.

thanks sis! nagpunta kami kahapon sa DFA sa pampanga, dun siya nagpa renew kasi pag dito sa manila need pa ng appointment kaloka, hiningan pa siya ng NSO certificate kasi daw may discrepancy ang place of birth wala lang nakalagay na "CITY", "CEBU" lang kasi ang nakalagay, buti nalang ang hipag ko may kakilala sa NSO, nakakuha kami agad eh 3:30pm na nun at gang 6pm lang ang DFA sa Robinsons.
Makukuha niya ang passport sa December 4, ang flight namen ay december 5. Wag lang madelay ang release or else epic fail =((

I am so pissed. I went to DFA Robinson's Galleria to claim my passport. Ayun, wala pa raw. And the staff there was clueless kung kelan mare-release. Tawag-tawag na lang daw ako. Nakakagigil talaga, imagine lumuwas pa ako from Bulacan tapos wala naman pala. And ni wala silang concrete answer as to when it will be available. So now, I am floating!

I've googled and learned na inaabot pa ng weeks and months yung iba bago nakuha ang passport. I am scared, I badly need mine now. I have a Taipei trip this January. I also need it for my medical as I am migrating to Canada. Bad trip talaga! Ang hirap ng feeling na hindi mo alam kung kelan siya mare-release. Sira lahat ng plano.

They should have informed the public na may possibility na ma-delay ang release ng passport. Sana hindi na lang ako nagpapalit ng passport from my maiden to my married name. Kung di pa ako nag-google, di ko malalaman na malala na pala ang delays ng release ng ibang passports.  Hay kakagigil ang gobyerno natin!
