waaaah I'm 34 palang but pa join na  ;D

Had bfs naman before kaso after breakups, new relationships again then break again, i got burned out and I stayed single for quite a while. I think 6 years na kong single. I date but puro duds :p

I am seeing a guy right now that I like but he is younger  ;D 30 palang siya, minsan nakakailang isipin hehe we are not serious yet so single parin and I can still date other people pero ang hirap din, walang makilalang ok at karamihan ng nakikilala ko either me asawa na or younger.

I hate being ask why single pa ko, sometimes I feel insulted pag sinasabihang maganda ka naman bakit ka single pa, it's like hinahanapan ka ng mali. Some say baka masyado akong pihikan, i don't see anything wrong with being pihikan but I'm not, I believe when you meet a person you will know if me potential to be the one, or if me chemistry.

Pero kasi I wanted someone whom I will be able to talk with, be able to relate, yung same wavelength.  Di naman sa pagbubuhat ng bangko, pero I always like to think, ponder, and I pursued my masters din.  So I am looking someone of the same level din.

Huwag naraw at wala akong mahahanap. Duh!?!?  ::)
Fast forward, 6 months later, I met my BF.  We are so compatible in many ways.  Pero see?  He will come, it is just a matter of time.  And of course, luck and prayers na magcross ang paths ninyo.

While it is true, pero all the more hindi ba dapat cautious tayo kasi we don't have much time to waste din kesa nung mas bata tayo?

question mga sis, at what age can you call a woman an old maid?

naiinis ako sa friend ko kasi sabi ko ayaw ko tumandang dalaga and she said "g*ga matandang dalaga ka na!" i turned 35 this year.

i don't consider myself an old maid yet. ang "hot" ko kaya hehe! kidding aside i have suitors pero very choosy ako kasi ayoko na ng papalit palit. gusto ko yung next guy yun na. i also don't want to settle for someone kasi takot lang ako mag isa. pero minsan napapa isip ako kung meron ba kaya talagang "the one" or should you just settle for someone who is good enough coz maybe there's no such thing as the "the one".

^ Alam ko dati nung time ng parents ko, ang old maid is 30yo.  ;D

;)  Pero puedeng pagkamalan ang may asawa na na 30yo lang as matandang dalaga is she does not maintain herself well.  IMO lang naman, nasa itsura for me ang old maid.

^hi sis! thanks for that. oo nga e ako kasi iniisip ko sa matandang dalaga yung never na nakapag asawa like mga 60 or 70yrs. old and dalaga pa rin. iba na kasi panahon ngayon kahit nasa 50's nakakapag asawa pa din. at may mga women in their 40's na hot pa din. sabi nga 40 is the new 30.

ewan ko dun sa friend ko naiinis na nga ako ayoko na kausapin. why would she call me an old maid? i guess some people makitid lang mag isip.  :)

I am married but IMO, it is better to be single than to have a miserable life with the wrong man.

Sorry for this question, pasintabi po sa medyo masasagasaan ang kanilang mga values. ..

Sis may thread regarding dyan -- Single Motherhood.

Siguro isipin mo nalang if you are the unborn child, would you want to be born given the situation?

i'm turning 33 but i have a feeling that this is where i am headed... my almost 6-year relationship just ended. before that, i was single for a decade.

i'm 28 and just got married 2 months ago. i still feel as if it's too early. not that i'm not ready yet, i'm more than happy to be finally with the man i love pero feeling ko lang hindi ko pa masyadong nae-enjoy ang buhay ko as a single woman. sometimes i thought to myself i should have waited until i'm 30. haha.

my sister is almost 35 and still single, but has gone through several toxic relationships so i understand why she's not pressuring herself to find a partner kahit deretsahang sinasabihan sya ng ibang tao na "tumatanda ka na baka hindi ka na magkaanak!" or "mauubusan ka na ng mga lalakeng ka-edad mo!" haha. so far mejo tinanggap na rin nya sa sarili nya na pwedeng hindi na sya makapag asawa pero hindi naman sya nawawalan ng pag-asa that there may still be some good guys out there who is deserving of her love and attention. im happy that she's really career driven and financially stable naman.

funny kasi iba ang tingin ng society sa mga babaeng 30+ na eh single pa rin. more often choice na rin nila yun based on their experiences. hindi naman kesyo kinasal tayo ng before 30 eh full-pledged woman na and that's it. our happiness depends solely on our choices, hindi sa kung anong dinidikta ng society.

Hello singletons! I had my first boyfriend at 35.  i got married 2weeks ago after being in an almost 2yrs relationship. Until now i still get messages from friends na gulat na gulat that i already got married.

wag mapressure sa mga usiserang kamag anak o coupled up friends na parati kayong sineset up. Just enjoy singledom. spend your money how you want it. Travel. Treat your parents. Pamper your nieces/nephews/godchildren. Learn new things while you have the luxury of time. If and when may dumating na partner, you will be glad you were able to do all those things while you can. If wala, then so be it.

i've been single for almost 7 years now (turning 35), may mga nandyan but there's always something kulang or may napupuna ako na ayaw ko...i don't know if masyado ba akong mapili BUT i don't want to settle on someone na pwede na. i STILL believe in the concept of "the one" even though sometimes loneliness gets to me especially since almost all my cousins na same age as i am, barkada during college and my sisters are either married or in a serious relationship.
