ok, buti na lang meron kang link ng preview, kc yung first na napanood ko na preview eh, yung nine years ago lang, wala yung she's a police detetive pah, parang meron na naman akong iaadd sa watch list ko ah, fully loaded na nga ako for the season premieres, hehhe

I saw the premiere episode, didn't liked it. Will no longer watch it.

Unconvincing na detective si Kristin Kreuk. Like why would you put your gun back in the holster to answer a phone call eh yung suspect mo malapit lang sayo.

And I really really hate the background music. Sobrang lakas na nada-drowned out yung conversation.

I quite had moments where I enjoyed the pilot. The action scenes, especially. The scene where Beast had to get angry.

But there were moments that were dragging. The mood is very CSI-NY-ish. Malungkot. Blue/green and cold.

It's not even close to the original 80's Beauty and the Beast (where it was patterned after), so I can't say the pilot is THAT good.  Maybe I had lowered my expectations before watching coz I've been reading so many bad reviewers before I actually saw it. But I thought that it was entertaining enough and it wasn't THAT bad.

So I will probably give it 3 more episodes to see if it's worth following through all the way, I mean, unless it's suddenly cancelled by the network.

The background music's mostly the same ones they used in The Vampire Diaries. So, this show from the beginning is on a mission --- to retain their demographics, the young viewers who loved (loves?) watching TVD, GG and 90210.

I'm sorry but the pilot episode was not engaging at all. Parang may mali sa editing. Or maybe I just didn't like the transition of scenes? Save for the leads who are both eye candies, they really need to come up with good storylines per episode.

Maybe keep the arc about the death of Catherine's mom going? Was she (the mom) connected to that special project that happened to Vincent before?

Mas na-enjoy ko pa yung Arrow kesa dito.

^ Catherine died in that series. Pero she was still able to give birth to her son with Vincent. I was actually scared to watch the old Beauty and the Beast, kasi katakot naman talaga si Beast. Tapos ang baba pa ng boses ni Ron Perlman.

This new Beauty and the Beast is so made for the right network audience kaya I had low expectations.

Mukha ngang predominantly bad reviews ang meron 'to. Sayang at medyo type ko si kristin and I was hoping to see her star in another hit show. Well, I'll at least watch the pilot for now, see if I like anything...

Tolerable pa yung music sa pilot episode pero jusko at ang sakit na sa tenga nung second episode. Hindi naman marinig dialogues nila pag hininaan yung volume.
